Here are some other residents of "my" property.

Geoffrey
My favourite resident is Geoffrey the Water Dragon who lives under a big rock in the backyard. He likes to submerge himself in the pond with only his head above water ... I guess that's why he's called a Water Dragon.

Rupert
Rupert the Bush Turkey happily followed me around when I was gardening. I saw him every day for months, but he since found a mate & they wandered off into the bush together. This is a Good Thing because he kept digging up the vegetable garden & newly planted natives.

Gecko
A leaf tailed gecko.

Cockatoo Cockies
There are plenty of cockatoos about. They are noisy buggers! For some unknown reason they decided to decimate the vegetable garden. I placed a plastic snake in the garden & so far it's working as a deterrent - not too bright those Sulphur Crested Cockatoos.

Kookaburra
There are plenty of Kookaburras about too. They watch me gardening & give me a bit of a scare when they dive down behind me to retreive a tasty slug I've uncovered.

Lorikeet
Rainbow Lorikeets. Pesky little things. A bit too tame for my liking - they'll jump on you if you're holding something that looks appetizing.

Bee
Bees.

Green Tree Snake
A Green Tree Snake wandered into the garden & got caught in the netting protecting the vegetable garden from the pesky Cockatoos. He gave me an ENORMOUS fright! WIRES rescued him & returned him back to his home in my neighbour's garden where he eats Jim's beloved Green Tree Frogs!

Boobook Owl
A Mopoke Owl. Also known as a Boobook Owl (Aboriginal name). Heard regularly after dark, but this was the first time I saw more than a silhouette.

Bluetongue Lizard
A blue tongue lizard, whom I call Red.

Baby Water Dragon
A baby water dragon. He's only a few centimetres long.

Echidna
An Echidna.

Son of Rupert
A baby Bush Turkey! I think it is the son of Rupert so I call him Son of Rupert. In the above picture, he is a bit dirty 'cause he's been eating lots of Mulberries.
