  • World Youth Day 2008:

    A very special word of thanks to the great army of helpers who made the Pilgrims stay here in our parish very pleasant and enjoyable. Form all accounts everyone had a great time. Hospitality is a hallmark of discipleship in action.

    Many thanks to all the wonderful pilgrims who graced our community with their presence. Your commitment to Christ in faith was an outstanding example to us all.   • First Reconciliation Notices:

    This school term we shall celebrate this great Sacrament of God’s forgiveness and healing with the younger members of our parish family. “Reconciliation Interviews” will take place in the Parish Centre as arranged next Tuesday 29th and Wednesday 30th July between 3.00-4.30PM and 5.30-7.00PM. Looking forward to seeing you then. The ceremony of Enrolment when these young candidates will be formally introduced to the parish community will take place next weekend at all the Masses. -Fr.     The Celebration of the Sacrament will take place on Tuesday 16th and Thursday 18th September at 7.30PM. It will be a celebration in the Second Rite, appropriate for children.

    I ask all parishioners to please set aside 11th September at 7.30PM in order to come together as God’s family and spend a little time in prayer for these young people. Fr.Stephen.
