Remove face wrinkles

Open Image  "face-wrinkles.jpg"

Duplicate   Shift D

Adjust  Adjust/Softness/Soft Focus on the duplicate

Use Preset "Remove Wrinkles"

Focus  S=67%     E=100%    Include Scattered Light

Halo   A=100%    S=41%    V=30%

Select this blurred image    (Ctrl A)

Copy this blurred image  (Ctrl C)

Activate the original Image

Copy the blurred image as a new layer on top of the original  (Ctrl L)

Use the Eraser to clear the eyes, lips and clothing.

A Fire Engine Spray job.

Feather select engine area ( to exclude parking sign)

Adjust/Hue and Saturation / Hue/Saturation/Lightness

Dialog box - Edit Master    Select Hue Slider and move with Arrow key

Open “Glassvase4label-warp,jpg”  and “4sale.jpg”

With 4sale.jpg active, display the Layer palette

Drag “4sale.jpg “  (its blue layer icon) on to Glassvase4label-warp.jpg”

Check label layer is active

Move the label to best position

    Select Mesh Warp tool   20 x 20 warp, zoom in on label and adjust nodes.

Open “Glassvase4label-warp,jpg”  and “4sale.jpg”

You want to distort the label so it looks like it has the shape of the vase

Using Mesh Warp   

Move nodes by Left click+hold+drag

Hold the shift key to move an entire row or column.

Whether a row or a column is moved is determined by the initial drag direction.

If you hold Ctrl instead of Shift the row or column will be bent into a smooth curve.

You have to use a node within the image and not one on the edges to use the shift and ctrl keys.  Increase the canvas if necessary

EG. Vase for sale

This frame is the "Marble" frame and on this image the proportions of the image distorts the frame

Select the frame layer in the Layer palette

Adjust the width of a frame's uprights or crosspieces using Mesh Warp and the Shift key as you adjust a warp node so that an entire row or column of pixels is moved at once

Best way to change a colour image to Greyscale

Adjust / Colour / Channel Mixer

Out put channel = Grey

R=40    G=10    B=50   (RGB+100)

Monochrome

Using an adjustment layer and saving as *.psp gives opportunity to edit changes.

Font Impact 100    Italic  Create as a selection

Type “Hong Kong”

Position text with right click and drag on the selection

 1)   Adjust / Brightness/Contrast    Low contrast preset

          Adjust / Effects / 3D Effects / Inner Bevel.  Try Factory default

          Deselect  (Ctrl+D)

2)  Set F/G colour to white and B/G to black

Font Impact 100    Create as a selection

Type “Hong Kong”

Right click to position the text selection

L+click  over the selection

Moving the selectiion exposes the current B/G material.

Move selection down and to left  with the arrow keys

Say 4 clicks on the  down arrow and 4 clicks on the left arrow

Selections / Defloat   

Reverse F/G & B/G colours

L+click  over the selection

move selection up and to right a few pixels (Arrow keys)

Say 2 clicks on the  up  arrow and 2 clicks on the  right arrow

Deselect

Try different background colours and directions

This gives a textured  effect like painting on canvas

Delete

Promote Background to a layer

Deselect

Rename layer to “Image”

New layer  

Name it “Gradient”

Drag  “Gradient” layer under “Image” layer

Floodfill with Gradient Foreground-background 2 Sunburst

    F/G A Skin Colour

    B/G A Hair colour

Working on the image, softly,erase the shoulder points

Add a new raster layer “Canvas”

    Floodfill Materials Pattern  Canvas

Adjust / Brightness and Contrast / Curves   Preset Darken

Repeat adjustment   Ctrl+Y to emphasise the texture,

Set Layer blend to Multiply and reduce layer opacity to 50%

Sign your name on a piece of white paper and scan it.

Does the image need any correction?

Save the image  signature.jpg

Load this image as a new layer onto your art image

Position the signature

Layer Blend Mode    Darken Multiply, or Burn

The white paper disappears and the signature remains

Adjust/Fill Flash   Fill Flash Filter   Strength=60 Saturation=0
