Hey guys.. thought I'd write a bit about my day at the 2007 Red Bull Motocross of nations, Budds Creek, Maryland USA
Me and Jess (my little sister for all of you who don't know me and Chas have a little sister) started the day at 5am, We left the hotel at 6,by taxi and arrived at the track at 7am.. It was huge! the pits, the crowd, the stands, the track and the amount riders in each class, we made our way into pit lane of the first practice, but decided we couldn't see much of the track, thanks to Darryl Hiddle we had really good passes so we found the best spot to see most of the track and stayed there for most of the day.
The racing is unreal over there, especially Carmichael, and Villipoto.. Australia didn't do so well, on Saturday Reed had a bad day and McFarlane was injured so he was out, Reed did well on Sunday, placing 2nd in the first moto, and Byrne was in top 5,villipoto won both of his races with massive lead, Carmichael crashed turn one in the first moto and fought back from dead last and way behind the pack to 3rd, that was so good to see!! in Rickys second moto he won by the same amount that Villipoto did. You see it on TV but I didn't expect them to bee that fast.

I was so glad i made the trip there, it was Ricky's last de nations race so it was good to see him ride so well. Most of the riders stayed in there motor homes, but i was lucky enough to meet American riderTim Ferry and mx legend Jeff Emig, he was the nicest guy, had a bigchat to me about the Aussie team, and how my day was, cracked some jokes
n stuff so I was pretty pumped for the rest of the day about that!!

Anyway, I'm sitting in an internet cafe in Canada at the moment so I'd
better go and do more sight seeing, I sent some photo's along so you
can see what it was like there!!

see you all soon.. From Annie
