The Broadford
Interclub Motocross was run on July 23rd
2006
Due to some rain leading up to the event,
the track was rather wet, but
that didn't seem to slow the fast riders
down, lots great racing , very
few falls and nobody hurt made it a great
day, even a bit of sunshine in
the afternoon
Good to see some Harley club riders making
the most of the practice day
at the dirt track, also effected a bit by
the rain, but I believe the track was still quite ridable. |

Qualifying Friday 3rd March
Harley Club member Chris Trounson
Qualified on poll ( 1:43.756 ) for the Superstock 600cc class at
Phillip Island this weekend. Good effort for his 3rd road race
meeting.
Good luck Chris.
Race 1 & 2 Saturday 4rd
march
Chris has followed up poll position with 2 wins from 2 on
Saturday , with 1 more
race tomorrow morning.
Great results and we're sure he'll be doing a little celebrating
tonight.
Good on you Chris
Race 3 Sunday 5th March
Chris finished his first race meeting at the Island on Sunday
with
another win in the Superstock 600 class, giving him 3 from 3.
The
3rd race, the first event on the Sunday morning of the World
Supers,
saw him with gear selection problems and having to work very
hard
to take out the win in the 10 lap race. The gear lever had
loosened off
causing a number of false neutrals, and only just hung in to
the end.
Even more celebrating we're guessing , Congratulations
Chris and your team.
Thanks Pete Hern for supplying these
results each day.
