Restored Sprintcars

Owned By Brett & Tom

O.T.R Chassis #003
Circa 1982
Raced originally by talented Victorian Sprintcar racer
Kevin McCallum as Victoria #60.

Now powered by a 302cu Z28 Engine from a 1968 Camaro
Bored .060" over to give 310cu.
Despite the age of the engine it was in remarkably good condition
not even needing new bearings.
The only things needing replacing are a couple of oil seals in the near
future.

The top end has cast iron straight plug turbo heads with new
Valve springs collets and retainers, all done without removing
the heads.

While the engine now has a new Holley 750 Carburetor, an upgrade
to fuel injection is planned at a later date.

The damaged magneto was replaced with a Chev HEI system powered
by a small battery hidden under the seat.

Thanks Brett & Tom for the photos
and information, while the car looks great now,
I can't wait to see it back in it's original paint scheme.

If anybody can help Brett and Tom locate a better set of
front or rear wheels with heaps of offset outwards it would
be greatly appreciated.
Contact melbournespeedbowl@gmail.com and I'll pass on your
details.
