Quo are touring again for the second consecutive year. Australian fans are excited as we are to see Quo twice in just over a year. This tour was called the 'Whatever You Want Tour'. The following is a brief run down on some the things Quo did during their Geelong and Melbourne leg of their Australian tour.

At approxiamately 6.00am a group of very excited Victorian Quo fans gathered together at Melbourne airport waiting for Quo to arrive. At about 6.40am, Quo's entourage began to appear followed by the band members. The band, management and crew graciously stayed around mingling with the fans for a good thirty minutes. Photographs were taken, albums signed and lots of chatting to the band. The fans waved off the bus which would take them to the 'Hilton' in Melbourne where the band would be based for the next few days.

"Oh no Rick! not those Aussies again!"

Quo did a set on the Melbourne based variety television show 'Hey Hey It's Saturday'. Unfortunately, Quo's appearance on the show was not known until about the last fifteen minutes of the show. Hey Hey did not advertise the fact that Quo were on the show at all, not in the upcoming show promo or at the beginning of the show itself. Fans believe that this was rather bleak and that Quo should have had more acknowledgment about their appearance on Hey Hey as do other international artists.

The band appeared at a record signing at C.C. Records in Geelong at around noon. There were many fans at the signing and the enthusiasm and excitement was certainly there. Quo took their time with meeting the fans, signing and having photos taken. C.C. Records sadly only had the new album for sale and with having such a special band visiting one would like to think that there would have been at least a few other Quo albums available. After the signing, the band went to visit 'K'Rock radio station in Geelong for a live radio interview. At about 3.00pm, they went on to the Purer Milk Arena to do their usual sound check. At 8.00pm, Graftin Blue, the support band came on to warm up the crowd. At 9.00pm, the mighty Quo appeared for their first concert of this tour and certainly gave us all they had to give.
