Have the qualifications of Bachelor of Education and Diploma of Teaching , Secondary Music. Combined with a Fellowship from Trinity College of Music, London, clarinet performance and a Licientiate from Trinity college of Music , London in clarinet teaching.

Presently employed by Education Queensland at Pioneer High School as A Classroom Music Teacher.

Teach years 8 - 10 in a concert band setting. Years 11 - 12 are taught a Tertiary Entrance subject of music as well as a vocational strand in Music.

Conduct the Concert Band and the Stage Band. Both groups have been on tours around Queensland with the most recent being the Senior Concert Band to Melbourne and Canberra. The Stage Band has just again returned from its annual pilgrammage to Townsville for the North Queensland Junior Jazz Festival.
