I had the absolute weirdest dream I have ever had this morning. If you have any insight as to what this is all about, please let me know.
Dream 16 July 1999
I was in a very large room that appeared to be a stage. On the stage were two stairways that were at opposite side of the room. They were clearly props as they led nowhere and had no rails of any kind.
· Rod, I will assume that the very large room of the building that appeared to be a stage is portraying the apostolic and prophetic foundation ministry (room; Eph 2:20) within Christendom (building). Being on stage is saying that these ministries are presently being quickened or being activated to be functioning within Christendom. The stairways (ladder) props speak of these foundation ministries of God’s end time Church to be based on direct divine communion with heaven.
Gen 28:12
And he dreamed, and behold A LADDER SET UP ON THE EARTH, AND THE TOP OF IT REACHED TO HEAVEN: AND BEHOLD THE ANGELS OF GOD ASCENDING AND DESCENDING ON IT.

· Rod, if we are on the right track then the two stairways more specifically represent the prophetic and the apostolic ministries that God has given to the Church. Perhaps the prophetic pertains more to the primary Old Testament anointing for communion with heaven and the apostolic to the New Testament anointing for communion with God.

Two of us were on the steps on one side of the room. The other person was a woman that I was very familiar with, my impression was that she was probably my wife although I don’t remember even looking at her face and I am not sure who she actually was. Anyway in the process of lying down to sleep for the night I was nearly knocked off of the top of the stairs, which were at least twenty feet high. I decided to sleep on the other stairs alone for safety.
· If we assume that you represent God’s called and chosen people in the days of the quickening and functioning of the foundation ministries of the apostles and prophets then the people are more familiar with the woman of the first stairway prop, which is God’s prophetic ministry of the end times. Thus God’s called and chosen have been joined to this prophetic anointing (woman) and ministry. (my impression was that she was probably my wife)
When I reached the other stairs there was another woman there that I was unfamiliar with, but who seemed keenly interested in me. She wore a short robe and I could see a sheer nightgown underneath. Her intentions were made obvious in the argument we had over her sleeping on the stairs with me, and when she finally realized that I was not going to allow it she slumped
down on the floor against a wall. I turned to climb the stairs and go to sleep when I suddenly found a book. It was a Christian paperback book, the type that is stapled on the binding.
· The other stairways prop represents God’s end time apostolic ministry and the woman there is personifying the anointing thereof. If I’m interpreting reasonably well then the dream is saying that many that are called into this end time ministry will forsake the anointing. Associated with your rejection of the woman (anointing) is the book of instruction or knowledge that you (the called and chosen people of God) will need to possess.
As I flipped thru it I found pages of thicker stock inside with pictures of the other books and authors.
· Books and authors here speak of divine knowledge and instruction.
What was unusual about it was that in the process of looking through it, I found a page with about a dozen pictures on it, and one of them was mine.
· The page with about 12 authors could relate to the personal disciples/apostles whom Jesus taught and led directly. God’s called and chosen of the end times are of this direct heavenly discipleship.
Below the picture was my name, and below that was a page number, it was 50 something (50 or 51 I think). I felt like it was an age related number and I was not supposed to pay too much attention to the last digit. I checked the publishing date of the book and again cannot get a clear date but it was still a year or more away. I was both excited and scared of what this could mean.
· We note that the disciples/apostles wrote the New Testament under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit (50; Pentecost outpouring) in the fullness of the functioning of their ministry in the will of God. Perhaps the dream is saying that in a year or so God’s end time disciples/apostles will also be functioning in the fullness of their ministry in the will of God. I wonder if this time period was delayed because of the initial rejection of the apostolic anointing?
· Rod, the rest of this dream appears to be portraying God’s emphatic instructions that His called and chosen must hear, know and understand the Holy Spirit in order to be directly taught and led of Him even as the disciples of Jesus did in the Gospels.
I ran out of the building and into the parking lot and jumped into my car. I started it let it warm up while I reread the publishing date and started to look for the page with my picture again. Before I found it I found another page with a picture of the author of the book. He and his name reminded me of John Osteen although both the picture and the name were obviously different from John.
Across the bottom of the page, under his name, were other books he had written. As I read through the nice neat rows of titles I realized that they were the books of the Bible.

Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any
private interpretation.

For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy
men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.
I once again found the page with my picture and name on it. Now even more
concerned, I yanked my car into gear, backed out of my parking space and started heading for the back exit. I had just rounded the end of the row when my car died. I turned and coasted into another parking space and was repeatedly trying to start it when the scene changed.
I suddenly had an aerial view of the parking lot and watched a car pull in and park. Out stepped the author of the book, who lifted his arms over his head as he smiled up in my direction, then immediately walked towards the back exit of the lot. The exit was not a smooth paved ramp, it was a rutted dirt and rock affair that rose four or five feet very quickly and was surrounded by trees and scrub brush. The author of the book stopped and stood expectantly beside the exit looking back toward the parking lot.
· The above section of the dream is showing how God Himself will give His called and chosen direct revelation and instruction which shall not come from flesh and blood.

Suddenly I was back in my vehicle and it started and ran smoothly that I had to stop and listen carefully to make sure it had started. I put it into gear to drive out when I was instantly riding a bike. I was heading up the rutted exit ramp and the author turned sideways as he smiled at me. When I crested the peak of the ramp and was beside him he grabbed the handlebars, swung himself up onto the seat behind me and took over the pedals from me and began to pedal us. I suddenly became the passenger and he was the rider.
When I showed him my picture in his book and told him he wrote it, he merely smiled and said that he had written many books. I said yes you have and turned to the page with the books of the Bible listed under his name and picture and said you wrote these. He smiled and said more solemnly, I have written many books. I said yes you have and I know who you are. He just looked at me and smiled. And my wife woke me up!!

WE MAY CONCLUDE FROM OUR COMPARISON THAT THE NAKED MAN IN THE DREAM IS DEPICTING APOSTATE LEADERS/SHEPHERDS WITHIN CHRISTENDOM that are given to the spirit of the world and to the lusts of sinful fleshliness. I had this disturbing dream last night. I believe it has to do with the church and possibly the spiritual abuse that could be happening to believers. I would greatly appreciate your interpretation of this dream. Thank you so much for your ministry in the Lord.
The dream is as follows:
It seems to take place in a room that resembles a section of a barn.
I seemed to be watching what was happening as if I were behind the scene in a
movie being made or something like that. I felt very anxious at times as if
I wanted to run for help or do something myself to help and I couldn't. It
was a though I was looking through glass or something like that. There were
two people involved, a man and a woman named Sharon. There was hay all over the floor, scattered and heaped too, like in a barn.
The man, who was naked, was carrying the woman. She appeared to be a model build, neat look, but I got the impression she could have been a prostitute. She looked healthy and her muscles seemed to be very toned. This is why I thought she could be a model. I felt in my heart she had been raped because of her
appearance.
He threw the lady on top of the heap of hay. I thought perhaps he was going to rape her again and I certainly didn't want to watch it, but instead the man uncovered the biggest pig I have ever seen. (In real like I grew up on a farm and have seen many large animals but none compared to this one.) He rolled this huge pig over on top of her to kill her. She said something to him about what he was doing and was he trying to kill her. His reply was, "Oh Sharon you are going to die, you will die, I will kill you." He left the pig there then leaned over to see if she was dead. She moved her head when he said out loud, "are you dead?" She said, "No not yet. You can't do this." He pulled the pig off her and she got up and turned over. She was sitting on her knees.
My position changed from behind the man to in front of the lady. She had discovered that she was laying on glass covered by hay. For some reason she seemed to think the glass was her escape out of there. She began to hit the glass with her fist then she would grab her hand because of the pain. I could tell the glass was thick by looking at it. She kept hitting it trying to break it and she would say, "I am going to beat this thing." The dream ended.

I believe you are right Pat and this is really a spiritually distasteful, dramatic and emphatic portrayal of the sad situation within Christendom. The nakedness of the man is obviously portraying the blatant sinful fleshliness or carnality of the man and the fact that he is devoid of true Godliness. The name Sharon brings up the following scripture from Song of Solomon and it appears to have possible application in your dream.
Cant 1:16
Behold, thou art fair, my beloved, yea, pleasant: also our bed is
green.
Cant 1:17
The beams of our house are cedar, and our rafters of fir.
Cant 2:1
I am the rose of Sharon, and the lily of the valleys.
Cant 2:2
As the lily among thorns, so is my love among the daughters.
Cant 2:3
As the apple tree among the trees of the wood, so is my beloved among
the sons. I sat down under his shadow with great delight, and his
fruit was sweet to my taste.
Cant 2:4
He brought me to the banqueting house, and his banner over me was
love.
We note that instead of the “banqueting house” the dream has “a room that resembles a section of a barn.” Instead of the lovers’ bed being green, which speaks of the abundant life in Jesus Christ, the dream has dry straw which speaks of a lifeless spiritual state, apostasy and even that which is ready for the fire (of Hell). Instead of “the lily among thorns” and “the apple tree among the trees” which portrays the Lord, the dream has “this huge fat pig” which is a demonic antichrist and

As the dream portrays, church leadership and the pig will both want to usurp the place of Lord Jesus Christ the Bridegroom in the Church. The message of many dreams received by Christians at about the same time as this dream warn about the times of great deception and destruction that are with us and before us.

Pat, perhaps the glass that the woman finally discovered under the hay on which she laid and which gave her hope of escape from bondage and the threat of death refers to Scripture.

But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the
Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by
the Spirit of the Lord.
We note from the dream that the woman who portrayed the Church/Bride was beautiful like a model and like a prostitute. This picture of the Church suggests that God’s people need to pry themselves away and cleanse themselves from spiritual abusive depravity and bondage to apostate church leadership and the spirit of the world that they have aligned themselves with.
