Am not sure if this is for the Church, but the homes and particularly the
cannons seemed to be important. Have prayed and tried to understand
interpretation. As the dream probably represents some conflict, I also have
conflicts re interpretation. Your interpretation is greatly appreciated.

Dream: 4 huge, long cannons
September 5, 1999
The dream began with something about Martin (my husband) and I moving
into a new house in a new area. There were also, two I think, other couples
moving into another home. There seemed to be a shifting of homes. This part
of the dream is fuzzy.
Next there was a scene about a task that I had been assigned to by an
organization, either AA or Colonial Dames, with which I was involved. I was
in one geographical location in an office like setting in a meeting. I was
put up for something from another region and was to transfer.
The scene shifts again. I am high up in a bus-like vehicle. We drive by
a building that I was familiar with. The building faced out on a street on a
town square. I notice that 4 cannons have been added to the front of the
building. It seemed that a porch had been added to the front of the building
to house the cannons. The porch fit into the style of architecture and
provided an area on the roof of the porch, about second or third level from
ground, to place the cannons. The 4 cannons were huge and long, evenly
spaced, all pointed at an upward angle. At the height I was in, something
that was moving, like a double or triple decker bus, my eyes saw the cannons
first. I was surprised to see these four cannons coming out of a building
front, so I looked down and around. The town street and façade of the
building all looked normal. The cannons were similar to warship cannons,
but bigger. They dwarfed the building. In the dream, I am saddened. The
cannons remind me of fighting and war.
The scene shifts again. I am going into what is our new house. I walk
into what is like a house, but is high up, like in an apartment building. We
had just fixed the place up. We opened the door and entered a small vestibule
that had not been there before. It had been added on. And then we opened
the door on the other side of the vestibule into our home. I was concerned
for Martin as this would be difficult for him with his eyesight (legally
blind in real life) and limited mobility. As I entered I saw that all the
rooms were in a state of disarray. Workmen had been in; there was carpet
taken up and rolled standing on end. There were buckets of paint and a
little construction debris around. I was concerned also for Martin about all
the debris around. The workmen had built onto the front of the house to put
in the cannons. The workmen were still working but were out of sight.
The construction work and addition had caused the floors at the outer front edge
to have a bow running through the room I was standing in and through the next
room. It seemed as if the bowed floor may have gone further, but I couldn't
see it. I sensed that it had no end. The bowed area of the floor curved
upward approximately 6 inches, as if a pipe 12 inches in diameter was layed
under the floor and the floor had shaped itself over the pipe. I wondered
about Hoz & Sharon (prayer partner and friends) and the location of their new
home somehow in reference to the cannons. I thought we might go there until
ours was cleaned up.
COMMENT BY PAULA
Janet, the fact that the gathering of the apostles is at the end of September and is of great importance to the Lord we would expect that He would be showing us more and more about such a significant historical event.
Moving in a fresh assignment to a new house/home and to a new location speaks of changes leading to a new order and a new direction in the Church which is our spiritual house/home. Add to the new order and new direction the additional new porch or new vestibule at the fore front of the house then we identify the placement of God’s end time apostles in the fore front of the new order and new direction of things in the churches. The placement of the office of apostles come with the equipping of the 4 giant identical and evenly spaced canon guns of tremendous divine power. In meditating on the 4 huge guns that dwarfed the building relative to the office of apostles, I could only conclude that they portray the 4 Gospels that revealed Jesus Christ who is “the Apostle and High Priest of our profession.”
Heb 3
1. Wherefore, holy brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling, consider the
Apostle and High Priest of our profession, Christ Jesus;
2 Who was faithful to him that appointed him, as also Moses [was faithful] in
all his house.
3 For this [man] was counted worthy of more glory than Moses, inasmuch as he
who hath builded the house hath more honour than the house.
Thus the placement of God’s end time apostles in the Church is fundamentally the placement of the ministry of Jesus Christ into the end time Church. The ministry of Jesus in Gethsemane, at the Cross, in the tomb and in resurrection was not for Himself but for mankind. Outside of these, the ministry of Jesus Christ in the Gospels was the ministry of God’s Apostle who came from heaven. He came that whosoever believeth in Him should have divine eternal and abundant life! Of such is the ministry of the end time apostles. They will walk in the footsteps and likeness of Jesus of the 4 Gospels in resurrection power (As in the two witnesses of Revelation chapter 11).

We were in a car driving down a highway. I was a child. My father was driving the car. Out the right side window I noticed the first of many accidents. There seemed to be a divider between us and the accident since we were going by it. We were on a road of many lanes as in an expressway.
The first accident looked like a 2 or 3 car fender bender except that very low to the ground was a mustard yellow piece of a car. Some people were standing around this one. Their back to the piece and looking at me as if I wasn't to see this or maybe they didn't believe it themselves. As we travelled onward I saw more of the same pieces, none bigger than a fender strewn along the expressway. I thought that somebody’s car had been creamed by a semi-trailer truck except that the pieces were not crumpled as much as I thought they would be. This first accident was strewn about for quite a distance and soon other vehicles were also a part of this accident scene. I saw a roof cab of a car just sitting there, many other pieces and identifying car body parts (all outside pieces, no internal engines, wheels or axles or anything like that). As I have described, we were in a lane going the same direction but with a divider between us and the accident lane over to our right.
I then just started to see car after car in this massive pile-up, a lot of cracked windshields and dented roofs especially. Almost all of the cars were older models from the 1970's or 80's .
I especially remember my attention being held on an extremely rusted hardly identifiable cab of a 1920's era car. There was another unidentifiable piece next to it. There seemed to be a lot of yellow color in the air all around this. This was a short vision within a vision that showed me the 1920's era cab and was separate from the view of the pileup although it was on the same road.
At one section, after I had seen Fifty to Sixty cars all piled up (some like they had slid together), I started to think that maybe some of these had fallen off a flatbed trailer on their way to a junkyard. I remember seeing eight to fifteen 1970's era cadillacs, all the same dark grey color, next to each other down the middle of the road, perpendicular to the lane. They were all facing the same direction and so close together that they touched one another. That is why I said that they looked as if they had slid off the back of a flatbed trailer. These got my attention in the way that they didn't look like they would have been drivable even before the accident. They were dented, had cracked windshields etc.
Just after this, we were reaching an intersection and I was concerned that Dad wasn't going to slow down due to distractions but that was just my own individual worry. At this point it seemed as if I was driving the car and someone was next to me. They were saying " It's very important to keep the radio tuned to 1 of 2 stations since they were the only ones who knew about the accident and could tell you exactly where it was." "Rememer that. It's very important to keep the radio tuned to one of two stations. They can tell you exactly where the accident is."
As we got to a merge area, it was very congested. I saw a man walking towards us and motioning with his right hand to keep on going. It was an area where two roads came together. The other lane was on our left side. The road curved a little and there was a slight rise here. A maroon color minivan to our left merged just in front of us, almost hitting us or so it seemed. Very congested.
Now at the same time this merge was going on there was a bright, shiney, emerald green locomotive engine manuvering and turning immediately in front of where the two lanes had merged. It was coming from the left and turning to its right following the train tracks which seemed to just appear that instance. I remember how waxed and polished it was, this big train engine, its headlight off due to the fact that it was daylight, a round circular red dot about half the size of the front headlight was either above or just below the light, I can't remember which. There was also a driver that I was able to see who had black hair. I thought it might be the Lord. After it's maneuver, the train engine passed by to our right heading back towards the way we had just come. I also saw some other train tracks which the engine did not use ahead and going off to the right but these were not the tracks the engine was using now. Maybe if there was not this pileup, he would have went this other direction. Both sets of tracks seemed new and black. Dream ends.

Ralph, Vehicle accidents on freeways or highways have not been uncommon subjects in dreams of 1998 and 1999. I believe that they also depict God’s judgment upon Christendom whereby many churches and ministries (vehicles) are going to found wanting and destroyed on the highway of the work of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
The fact that the car body pieces were ”all outside pieces, no internal engines, wheels or axles or anything like that” suggests that it is outward or fleshly Christianity which will be judged unto destruction.
Rom 8:4
That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk
not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
Rom 8:5
For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh;
but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.
Rom 8:6
For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is
life and peace.
Rom 8:7
Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject
to the law of God, neither indeed can be.

So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.
Inward and spiritually minded Christendom will not be on the road of judgment. (we were in a lane going the same direction but with a divider between us and the accident lane over to our right.)

A destructive invasion from the spirit of the world into Christendom came in the form of the doctrine of self esteem or selfist psychology particularly in the 1970’s and 1980’s. This powerful invasion directly challenged the ministry of self willed denial in the death of the Cross in order that believers do the will of the Creator God.

The churches and ministries that jumped into bed (committed adultery) with the wisdom of men and the religions of the world in continuing to perpetrate the doctrine of selfist psychology in the 1990’s were portrayed by the destroyed vehicles from the 1970’s and the 1980’s in the dream. The warning in this dream is that they will be judged except they repent! Most likely the “extremely rusted hardly identifiable cab of a 1920's era car” depict the time of the birthing of selfist psychology into the world or into Christendom. The “1970's era cadillacs” represent the popular and high flying ministry perpetrators whose end will come suddenly as in an accident on the road.
The dream is also identifying two revelation gifts of the Spirit that have to do with hearing God (radio) that Christians aught to rely on in the time of judgment. I suspect that these are dreams and visions from the Lord which are less susceptible to the manipulation of the minds of men in their fully conscious state. (It's very important to keep the radio tuned to 1 of 2 stations since they were the only ones who knew about the accident and could tell you exactly where it was.")
The dream is also revealing that in the time of judgment and the coming forth of the “unity of the spirit” and “unity of the faith” in spiritual Christendom ( where the two lanes merged), there will be a mighty move/work of the Spirit which will bring the glorious and abundant life in Christ into the Church. This was portrayed in the dream as the big, waxed, polished, “bright, shiney, emerald green locomotive engine manuvering and turning immediately in front of where the two lanes had merged.”

This mighty move and work of the Spirit will pick up ministries and churches that have been robbed by the doctrine of selfist psychology. (the train engine passed by to our right heading back towards the way we had just come)

GUIDELINES TO THE POSTING OF DREAMS, VISIONS AND INTERPRETATIONS ON THE D&V LIST.
In the D&V List we only want to focus on what the Spirit of God is saying to the churches in dreams and visions of the sleep state, in visions of trance states induced by God and in divinely given "open vision." The two primary aims for the D&V List are:
1. DECLARATION - Declaring what the Spirit is saying to the churches in Dreams and Visions.
2. DISCIPLESHIP - Teaching Christians to discern the teaching of the Holy Spirit in the interpretation of Dreams and Visions.
Please send in Dreams and Visions that will serve these purposes for the glory of God. With regards to interpretation, we welcome possible interpretations, alternative meanings, corrections and additions. However, there will be a flow in agreement of that which the Lord is saying in dreams and visions from around the world at particular times. Generally, postings on the List will be done in harmony with the flow of this River. Accordingly, God given dreams and visions need to be interpreted from the content and "vocabulary" of the dreams and visions themselves.
Interpretations must also be made in relation to the whole dream or vision and not to just an isolated part thereof. In this way the D&V List postings will try to avoid any particular doctrinal bias which have no credible relation to the dreams or visions posted. Thus, in order for interpretations and comments from mails to be posted, they will have to contain credible witness from the whole dream or vision and from relevant scriptures.
