* This dream seems to be saying that God has placed "signs" of warning along the way to let us know that something huge is about to occur. Even the earth itself is giving us those signs and is groaning in expectation to what God is about to do. We need to be ready, aware and prepared. * Janet, STROKE as used in Scripture refers to judgment. Hearing it and seeing it written in capital letters twice constitutes a warning that this judgment is established in God and it will fall soon. Add to this the additional warning of the tornado and we have God’s judgment at the door! Since you did not see a physical tornado at work I would say that the judgment is a spiritual one and is therefore judgment upon the Christendom! I just wonder whether the gathering of the apostles in Anaheim at the end of September has been ordained to begin this particular judgment. Dream by Janet LeBout received early to mid July, 1999.
* Wow! From the pastor's dream and this one I believe you are right about a concerted attack of the enemy upon the prophetic movement there in New England. However, this should not be unexpected nor should it occupy too much precious time. DREAM OF CLIMBING ROCKS AND DISCOVERING PLACES WHERE EARTHQUAKES ARE BEGINNING TO OCCUR
I dreamt that I was with 2 men. One man was leading an expedition. He
seemed to be an expert in what was happening in the earth, and was an
expert in the area of earthquakes, and knew just by looking at the
movement of the rocks that there had been one. The other man was busy writing down the facts, figures and information given to him from the earthquake expert.
I appeared to be following along observing all of this, to learn.
We were busy going from place to place finding these discoveries where
the earthquakes had already occurred and looking at evidence. It was like
a discovery and every thing found was important. It was like being on a
mission. The man in charge would say things like, "SEE WHERE THE ROCKS
HAVE BEEN MOVED TO A DIFFERENT LOCATION? THAT MEANS SOMETHING IS HAPPENING. AN EARTHQUAKE HAS CAUSED THIS. THERE HAS BEEN A SHAKING OF SOME KIND." It was a prerequisite to something much larger. There seemed to be no fear involved just a matter of facts that this larger event was about to happen there where these "signs" were along the way.
Once, I remember, that we climbed over a huge rock onto the other side. Right at the top of the rock was a big hole, or bottomless pit, right in the center. All the rocks that had been on top of the larger one, were now in a different location or had been shaken off. We climbed down to the other side to see where the rocks had gone. When we went down, I saw water. It was very clear and clean, but very shallow. You could see all the way down to the bottom and it was beautiful. It didn't look more than 3 feet deep and I wanted to into the water but I didn't. I could see other people that were on the water but not many. The water was very quiet and there were very few people around, let alone on the water.
Paula, this dream seems to be saying that God has placed "signs" of

prepared. Even though the evidence is yet small, it is still evidence.
It seems to say, " WE ALREADY KNOW AND HAVE HAD THE EVIDENCE, OR ARE GATHERING FACTS, THAT SOMETHING BIG AND HUGE IS ABOUT TO OCCUR. ARE YOU READY?"

Blessings, Paula,
I have given much contemplation and prayer to this dream. It was
upsetting, particularly as my son is in it and the word, stroke was so
strong; I have been praying for him to come to know Jesus; and a well
respected, well known prophet, spoke words to me about a Davidic calling on
his life; he is a good young man with love in his heart. Researched the 10
passages in KJV where Stroke is used and the different Strong meanings. Also,
in reading your book, prayer with friend and more prayer, a broader picture
is evolving. Again, I am not sure if this is for the church. Your
interpretation is greatly appreciated on this one. I have included an
attempt at a little interpretation. Of all the scriptures this one struck
a chord within me.

Dream: Tornado warning/STROKE
Early to mid July 1999
I am on a beach enjoying the sun and water. The beach is quite crowded with a
lot of people. A tornado warning came. (From where I don't know). All the
people headed up off the beach toward what appeared to be sea wall, but it
was all sand dunes shaped like a sea wall. All found a spot and lay down
against the sand sea wall for protection. I was with a friend who has been a
friend since childhood. We changed our place against the sand sea wall, as
once we were in place, I noticed that we were at an opening, a break in the sea
wall. It was like a break, paved for vehicles to come and go. So we moved
further to the left down the seawall. There was plenty of room for all who
had been on the beach.
Then I realized that Duncan, my son in real life, was not with us. He
was with another group of children at the sand sea wall on the other side of
the paved break. I got up and crossed the break area, and brought Duncan, my
son, back across the paved break to be with us. During this time I heard and
saw in all caps the word STROKE two times.
Then, I had a sense that it was over and it was safe to leave the sand
sea wall. All through out the dream I did not see a storm. It was sort of
dark and overcast when we were at the sand sea wall. As I moved out of the
protection of the sand sea wall, I went over to the paved break and looked.
The opening led into a beach street that went straight back into the beach
community. I saw that the sky was clearing and the sun was coming out from
behind the clouds as they scattered.

These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing
before the God of the earth.
The dream is saying that it is time for Christians to gather their families together into that spiritual place of protection that God has provided in Christ Jesus! This is that spiritual Church that is being built on the foundation of God’s end time apostles and prophets. From this judgment the end time Church will be purged and refined to come forth into glorious manifestation in the earth! (I saw that the sky was clearing and the sun was coming out from behind the clouds as they scattered).
Isaiah 30:26, "Moreover the light of the moon shall be as the light of the
sun, and the light of the sun shall be sevenfold, as the light of seven days,
in the day that the LORD bindeth up the breach of his people, and healeth the
STROKE of their wound."

I had not planned to send this on to you as I did not think it was for
the church as a whole. However, I just received an urgent prayer request
from a pastor of a mainline denomination church re his ministry being
threatened through a similar dream that had to do with his car being stolen.
He is pastor of a church and has also spearheaded bringing together pastors
in CT in unity for summits and solemn assemblies and houses of prayer. Not
only that, a major prophetic conference scheduled in Hartford, the capital
of Connecticut, for Sept 16th - 18th, was canceled last week because of
really low pre registration. A year ago the same conference was attended by
thousands from all over New England.
I believe that this dream and perhaps this pastor's dream and the dream that I have sent you about cannons may represent an attack on the prophetic ministry that is beginning to come forth in New England. Thank you for your prayer and Holy Spirit led ministry over this.

Circumstances: That evening I was at revival intercessory worship, prayer
and teaching meeting at Gateway Christian Fellowship. This church is moving
in the prophetic with conferences and classes by well known and respected
prophetic men. Holy Spirit presence strong. Drove 40 minutes back home.
Dream:
Am in a church like setting, praising and worshipping. I am talking with a
few people and we are the last to leave. I leave by the front door. I
think there were a couple of people who left by the side rear door. It seems
they were locking up.
I am just approaching my Jeep from the rear and am showered with pouring rain. It is not raining outside; it is a big shower of water drenching me. I quickly get into the Jeep and realize I am in the back seat. So I get out and get into the driver's seat.
Then I am on the highway driving. I realize there is a big shiny black car behind me. It is pushing me, bumping me. I gun my Jeep to get away from it. The shiny black car I see is now coming up to the left, trying to push me off the road by heading for my left rear. I counter to head them off before they hit me by turning left in front of them. (This is not my style of driving!). They (I think
there were two men) in the black car have to veer off to the left and disappear. I straighten up and speed on. Then I wake up.
Rain = Holy Spirit
Jeep, 4-wheel drive = full ministry, full gospel foundation, ground breaking
powerful ministry= the prophetic ministry ??
Shiny black car = evil one trying to smash this ministry.
Jeep = Prophetic ministry, particularly in NE
God's power and authority over the evil one.
Empowerment and authority to overcome the evil one.

God reveals these things so that we can pray focused and be specific according to the things revealed in the dreams. Having done this we continue to go forth with the Holy Spirit. Consider this scripture in relation to what God reveals to be taken care of in our prayer and be bold in Him!
1John 5:14
And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any
thing according to his will, he heareth us:
1John 5:15
And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we
have the petitions that we desired of him.
So your dream was revealing the works of darkness against the prophetic movement in New England. It was good that no powers of darkness was seen inside the building/church. However, deception and seduction is present and is at the door. This is the counterfeit and deceiving shower your were drenched with outside the building/church and which caused some disorientation when you got into the car. This was followed by the black car hounding you on the road. You, Janet, are being hounded in particular because you represent or you are in fellowship with the prophetic which is able to reveal the deception and seduction from the forces of darkness. The implication here is for you to be in intercession and even to be in leadership with regards to the ministry of intercession!
Just one important thing about interpretation of dreams, the interpretation or message has to be in oneness with the whole language and spirit of the dream. That is, if the 4 canons of you previous dream was actually in your house and in the front part of your house then it cannot be the equipping of the enemy. I praise God for His calling and working in your life! Glory to the Lord!

In the D&V List we only want to focus on what the Spirit of God is saying to the churches in dreams and visions of the sleep state, in visions of trance states induced by God and in divinely given "open vision." The two primary aims for the D&V List are:
1. DECLARATION - Declaring what the Spirit is saying to the churches in Dreams and Visions.
2. DISCIPLESHIP - Teaching Christians to discern the teaching of the Holy Spirit in the interpretation of Dreams and Visions.
Please send in Dreams and Visions that will serve these purposes for the glory of God.
With regards to interpretation, we welcome possible interpretations, alternative meanings, corrections and additions. However, there will be a flow in agreement of that which the Lord is saying in dreams and visions from around the world at particular times. Generally, postings on the List will be done in harmony with the flow of this River. Accordingly, God given dreams and visions need to be interpreted from the content and "vocabulary" of the dreams and visions themselves.
Interpretations must also be made in relation to the whole dream or vision and not to just an isolated part thereof. In this way the D&V List postings will try to avoid any particular doctrinal bias which have no credible relation to the dreams or visions posted. Thus, in order for interpretations and comments from mails to be posted, they will have to contain credible witness from the whole dream or vision and from relevant scriptures.
