* This new steam locomotive symbolized the immense power of God coming to the world. It was replacing the existing anointing here. That old locomotive had
served its purpose and was returning to make way for the new, which was
unprecedented. It was the very last of it's kind. in fact the only one of its kind.
The new was heralded by many but also rejected by many. Many people were
purely curious spectators. Some were totally disinterested. Some were simply
enthralled by the new, but never go any further with the experience. Some, few
by comparison, wanted a clear, unobstructed view and from this group, some
actually ventured onto the machine. Vision of God’s Locomotive (End Time Apostolic and Prophetic Movement of the late 1990’s?) given to Robert Carter in 1997.
* Fear is weapon of the enemy and God often deals with it in our dreams so that we overcome fear by our faith and unwavering resolve in the absolute sovereign power and Godship of Christ. We also had a momentary power outage just after midnight new years eve, in
the greater Seattle area. Then Jan. 1st. morning all of my outgoing e-mail
was dated 1/04/80 ! Yes, 1980 ! :-O hehe ....This caused me problems indeed,
till my son was able to help me fix-it. whew !

Just a note on your last posted dream: there was a
terrific wind storm in Europe, notable in the amount
of trees which fell, broke or were uprooted over the
Christmas season, particularly in France. I believe
your dream accurately predicted that, and that the
rock pool scene symbolically portrays a miraculous
event which will occur after the storm--that is, about
now. We might get more on this.

Dreams most often relate to what the dreamer is communing with the Lord about at the time of the dream - circumstances. This is absolutely vital. Just finding events around the world to fit a dream that are unrelated to the things that the dreamer and the Spirit are communing about, negates the credibility of actual communion with the Lord. This backs up the lack of witness that I feel towards this interpretation. Thank you for sharing and thus helping us all to understand more about divine dreams and visions.

Paula, Here is my opinion on all our dreams and visions which relate to the
church in general, the world system, and the nations. I read the
interpretations of yourself and others in relation to such matters with
interest. As you are aware, most of the interpretations that God gives me
are for individuals. Occasionally, I have suggested to people that they send
their dream or vision to you for interpretation because I did not have it,
and that is especially true if I felt it might relate to the church as a
whole, or to the world system, or to the nations.
My "feeling" is that we are going to need to be extremely careful in the
future, more careful that any of us have been in the past, when giving the
interpretation of such dreams and visions. My feeling, what I think I feel
in the Spirit, is that there is now less room for possible error than there
ever was in the past. I feel that time is much shorter, and that things
therefore have been speeded up. I feel that things that are going to be
happening will be to eventful and to important for us to miss in our
interpretations in any way.
I also have the feeling that many times we will have to be more specific
about time and events than we have ever been. This in itself will call for
more cauttion on our part. In addition, I feel that we may hear things from
God that will require careful explanation on our part. As God reveals more
about the endtimes (this present time) to His servants, we may find that we
have to reconsider and reevaluate things that we have believed. Likewise, we
are going to need more wisdom when sharing those things with those who may
not yet see them as we do.
I am not saying any of this because of any percieved error on the part of
you or of anyone else. This is simply what I am feeling for us in
particular, and for that part of the Body of Christ which is determined to
"seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness."
Over the past two years, I have entered into a whole new dimension in my
walk in the Spirit. I believe that I see some things more clearly, understand more than I have ever yet understood, and have a greater fear of God, and a greater fear of error in my walk, than I have ever had. Jim Brooks

Thanks for your brotherly and constructive comment here. I believe that
you are referring to a time when we will be so much closer to "when that
which is perfect is come" (1Cor 13). At the moment the prophetic
anointing being given is where we are yet "seeing as through a mirror
dimly" (1Cor.13). Yes, I believe as you do that we are getting close to
that which is perfect but until then we have the liberty of the Spirit
to make mistakes.

fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be
knowledge, it shall vanish away.

The same liberty of the Spirit in hearts that are perfect towards God will continue to grow and develop abilities in Him to maturity in the direct teaching and leading of the Lord. Along the way we demonstrate, teach and disciple accordingly in all honesty, humility and joy in the Lord. The anointing is His, the gifts are His, believers are His and His ministers are His, if we let it be by embracing the ministry of the Cross daily.

Subject: DREAM OF 2 MEN: ONE ON FIRE, ONE DEAD

Dear Paula:
Happy New Year! This is a dream I had in 1992. Even though I do not
understand the extent to it, I have always believed that it was
important to the body of Christ. One dead, full of religious ideas, and
traditions, the other exploding with the power of God.
What is your opinion? I feel as though this dream fits in with the
prophetic insight for the new century we have just began. Possibly a
difference between what we have seen and what we are about to see.
I dreamed that I saw 2 different men. The first man was dying. He had
intravenous tubes in his whole body. They were in every vital organ.
They were even in his head and brain. There wasn't a place on his body
that did not have these tubes on it. As I looked at the man, I could see
that he was dying and would soon be dead. I looked into his eyes. They
were the eyes of death. All at once he took his last breath and died. I
will never forget his "eyes" of death.
On the other side of this man was another man. This man was on fire. As
I watched him burn the flames just continued to grow higher and higher.
Eventually he was completely on fire and he blew up throwing fire all
over everywhere. Both of these men were lying on the sidewalk.

One evening, I cannot determine whether I was dreaming, or seeing a vision,
an incredible scene opened up to me. In this dream or vision, I was walking
with someone in the country when the path we were on began to take the
appearance of a railroad track. It was long and straight for a while and then
started to curve to our right and entered a deepening and narrowing cutting. I
had the impression as we walked that a train was following us in the distance.
It sounded like a steam engine, getting louder and louder as it gradually drew
closer. The cutting got progressively narrower as we continued along until there
seemed to be barely enough room the track. The track gauge gradually
increased somehow, yet the rails always remained parallel.
Suddenly an immense steam locomotive came around the bend behind us,
getting closer and closer, seemingly increasing in physical size as it
approached. We began to run, getting off the tracks and running beside them
on even ground. The ground did not look the way one usually associates with
railroad cuttings, normally strewn with weeds and rocks and other objects. The
ground was even. level and we ran with ease. I had a sense of peaceful
urgency and excitement as we ran and the loco caught up with us. I could feel
the pulsing of the engine. I could feel the heat of the boiler/s. The ground was
throbbing as this loco moved beside us. It was an awesome feeling. almost
"frightening" in the natural, yet I did not feel afraid. I was conscious of immense
strength and power and of the enormous proportions of the incredibly complex
machine.20
Suddenly, the cutting widened ahead and around the bend a second track
joined to the first from the right hand side. Another locomotive was coming
towards us on this second track. It was also huge and powerful, but dwarfed by
the one we were running beside. I felt the urgency that I must keep pace with
this "monster" regardless. As we switched to the left hand track, the smaller
loco switched onto the single track and disappeared into the distant cutting
behind me. The new Loco still grew in size and power and it had a beauty
about it. It was a "pretty steam locomotive" yet an awesomely monstrous thing.
The track continued on in a graceful right hand arc towards what looked like a
wharf setting with a railroad marshalling yard, but there was only that one
track. This yard was surrounded by a very high wire mesh fencing with
enormous gates on the far side from where I was. There was a building of sorts
in the middle of this secure enclosure. It looked like a high-rise parking lot,
with ramps leading from floor to floor and there was a flat roof on the very top,
with a safety barrier around.
The locomotive suddenly passed by me and circled around the left hand side
of this building, which temporarily obscured it for a moment until it came up to
gates in the surrounding fence. The gates suddenly swung wide open by
themselves and the loco entered the yard and stopped. People were running
from all directions, milling around, forming queues as one sees in an
entertainment park, to see this new shining, gleaming, powerful machine. They
thronged eagerly around this building to get a glimpse of the loco.
I wanting to get close and even climb on board, feeling that most were merely
spectators and was amazed that they were content to queue up and walk
through this building. Many were content to stay within and few by comparison
with the size of the crowd were standing on the top floor for a clear view of the
locomotive. I was not content to remain in the queues of people and suddenly
found myself standing at the base of this building and knew that I simply had
to reach the very top floor. I crouched down partially, poised myself as an
athlete ready to make a jump and leaped upwards, floating towards the top.
Many people paused and said, "look, he's going to jump" and I "floated"
towards the top. Somehow, I did not quite soar over the safety rail on the top
floor to land on the floor as planned and landed on this rail. Apologizing to
those watching, I stepped out and floated down to ground level. I crouched
down and sprung up again to float right over the rails to a very clear vantage
point on top and the people around me applauded. I have the feeling now that
those on top of the building did what I did.
At one stage, I saw a woman in a red dress. It was more like a formal suit than
a dress. I am not sure if she was my companion during my walk, but as I
approached the building she was nearby. I commented that I was not going to
stay near her, as I wanted to reach the top, adding that she should stay
behind. She was not seen again.
It was significant that I never saw an engineer or driver in this locomotive. There
was no guard or conductor, or anyone seen at all, that one might see as
railroad staff. The departing locomotive was similarly unmanned. Both engines
moved by themselves and, significantly, moved in unison and in precise
motion. During the whole scene, not one sign, signal or traffic light of any kind
was in evidence.
When I asked the Lord what this scene meant, he shared with me that this
new steam locomotive symbolized the immense power of God coming to the

It seemed significant also that there were no carriages, only the locomotive.
When wondering about this, it seemed that the Lord said, "Many want to sit in
carriages and go along for the ride. They want to be carried. They do not want
to be involved in any way other than to enjoy themselves".
He said, "The day is coming when the carriages will be uncoupled. The people
going along for the ride are those who enjoy the privileges and the temporal
blessings. They will still be inside and enjoy these things, but these carriages
will continue under their own momentum and will eventually slow down and
stop". The people inside these carriages may eventually lose all. Those who
were content to stay inside the building were the ones who would never
experience the life force. the power which comes from the very presence of
God. They are mere spectators and not participators. Only those who ride the
locomotive, which is large enough to contain all, will really enjoy and
participate in this new power. Those who ascended to the roof of the building
will ride in the engine".
Scripture verses flashed into my being. "Many are called, but few are chosen"
Matthew 22:14.

My 8 yr. old son Jamieson had a dream on the 1st of Dec. Prior to this dream He had had a fear of leprosy and we have been praying through this with him.
Dream - My Dad and I were walking down this hall in a castle and there were caves in it with leprous people. We would put our hands on them and they were healed.
At the end of the tunnel we went outside and we were playing with kids and driving motorbikes. There was a Christian guy with a sword (looking in the caves after us). There were 2 castles ( we had just been in one) beside each other, they were different countries and were going to fight each other. The Christian guy with the sword was then chased over hills by a big bad guy from the other castle and country with a sword. The Christian guy with the sword ran to the country and the big bad guy chased him. When they were in the country, the Christian guy went into a house and the bad guys family (mother and teenage girl and his brothers) were in there, but he didn't know they were there. The Christian guy yelled to them for help. They all knew Jesus and told him about Jesus and he got saved.
Then they all ran to my Dad's car to get away and a purple lion (it was a girl tiger with no stripes) started to chase us. 2 bad boys (like mean 12 year olds that do bad stuff) were throwing fire -cracker bombs at it, but it didn't hurt it. The lion was going to jump on me and they threw the fire-crackers to me and I blew it up.
Then another lion, not purple though came out and started chasing all of us. We all ran to my Dad's little red car and crunched in. Then I saw my brother Jericho crunched up against my Dad's window sideways, that was funny. We took off and the lion ran after us, but we all got away and I woke up.

Looks like Jamieson is learning spiritual warfare early. This is not uncommon with Daystar Ministry kids but such dreams are only occasional.
Fear is weapon of the enemy and God often deals with it in our dreams so that we overcome fear by our faith and unwavering resolve in the absolute sovereign power and Godship of Christ. This process of overcoming is largely dependent on our teaching and praying with our kids. Soon they will have dreams where they would stand instead of running and will overcome by the faith and words of their mouths!

Yes, he is learning to overcome fear and is a spiritual warrior. He
prays in the spirit quite a bit for an 8 yr. old and understands spiritual
aspects. He has been memorizing 2 Timothy 1:7, not surprisingly. During a
time of spiritual intercession he had a vision of 3 arrows going north. He
rarely has visions as my other son ( who has a dime a dozen like his Mom),
so I listen when he does. I always pray I guide him in the right way. I was
directed to 1 Sam. 20 and have been meditating on it since this vision,
there are strong messages in there. I'm watching reports on the recent lists
in regards to arrows, too.
Anyways, thanks again!!! I pray I receive the same gifting for
interpretation of dreams as you & the team, I wouldn't mind the
double-portion part, either. Mind you, I'd be too busy like you then. I am
a slow learner and never have enough time. I could live in the Bible and
prayer, but my call is to prepare His little boys sssoooooooooo.........
