Hello Daystar Team,
My daily reading yesterday was Isaiah 9:1-7. After reading it I asked the
Lord to speak to me through it:
That night I dreamt I was on a hill overlooking a large expanse of countryside, everything was dark and gloomy looking. People there were using some kind of an iron frame to fly around in. It’s hard to describe; it had a front bar to it, which you held onto (a bit like the handle-bar of a baby’s pram) and when they pressed the bar down it caused the frame to move upwards and fly.
I took hold of one of these contraptions and jumped off the hill with it. As I expected, I fell downwards into the valley but then as I pressed the bar it started to move upwards, however, I had to keep pressing the bar continuously to keep going up and this was quite a laborious job. It apparently couldn’t take you very high into the sky and people just seemed to be flying around at a low level beneath the clouds. I realized that this didn’t meet my needs. I wanted to go higher. So, feeling frustrated, I cast it away saying, something like, “No! I want to go higher than this”.
I then raised my arms up to the sky and immediately I started to rise up vertically at a rapid speed. As I did, I looked up to see what was happening
and I seemed to be travelling through fog, but I expect they were just grey
clouds. The speed I was moving at was quite breathtaking and scary. It felt
like I was loosing all sense of security but my burning desire to go higher
to meet with Jesus was so strong that it didn’t seem to matter. After a
while I became aware that I was now quite high up but still in the middle
of these grey clouds.
I felt a bit overwhelmed and wondered what to do. I quickly reached up into the clouds for support and immediately two hands from within the clouds took hold of me and must have transported me somewhere because in the next scene I was in a room. Everything was still dark and gloomy and I saw a man there dressed in ancient clothes, like a character from the Bible. He was in an adjacent room and came out to meet me. He had features like a man from the Middle East and I presumed he must be Jesus, although inwardly I doubted. I had expected Jesus to look magnificent and awesome, or at least to look familiar to me in some way.
There was nothing appealing about this man, he was not particularly handsome
and his teeth were a bit large for his face. He came up to me, and the two of us drew close together and either held hands or linked arms.
We then went out together walking around this place that, was still dark and gloomy and looked a bit like a country scene in Biblical times. There were other
groups of people in this place dressed like Jesus and as we walked on, it
was as though I was his disciple. I seemed to go before him to announce
his arrival. I also seemed to direct him or present him to different groups of
people, and if there were a need, Jesus would just sort the problem out. In
spite of this, the people didn’t seem to accept him that readily and a
bunch of them even wanted to drive him away. Sensing danger, I drew Jesus away from these people. I can’t remember how the dream ended, but it seemed to end as we were walking away in the crowds. End of dream.
INTERPRETATION BY ANN
I’d like to have a shot at interpreting this if I may. I’m beginning to
learn more about prophetic dreams, but I still have a bit of a problem
trying to figure out what is personal and what is prophetic. I think a lot
of this dream explains itself, i.e. the darkness and gloom in the land
represents the world we live in.
I think the iron frame things that people were using to fly around with either represented immature Christians needing some kind of prop to help them understand the things of the spirit (flying), or it could represent worldly Christians who were using their own man made structures to produce an appearance of godliness that wasn’t really leading them anywhere (not going very high, just around in circles).
My desire to go higher could be my own personal desire or it could represent
the desire of those the Spirit of God is calling to higher places with Him.
I was a bit uncertain how to view the Jesus in the dream, I’m always wary
when I get dreams about flying through the air, because it’s here you can
encounter deceiving principalities who often know what you’re about and are
out to deceive you; remember the dream I submitted to you in (List 376).
So this morning I sought direction from the Lord and although I’m not
entirely certain yet, I’m wondering if this isn’t the Lord revealing to me
how his people (the Jews) responded to his earthly ministry.
I remembered that the people in my dream reacted to Jesus with a mixture of
curiosity and mild acceptance mixed in with much reserve and some of them
with outright rejection. And this more or less describes some of the
feelings I had towards Jesus in the dream.
As I gave this more thought, I could also see how the people in the dream
looked to Jesus for help, particularly the sick, they were happy when he
met their needs but this did not convince them that He was their Messiah. They
felt that he might be an imposter, and I had this feeling too.
So, here’s my question: Am I right in thinking that when a dream is prophetic it’s not meant to be interpreted as personal and that my role in the dream is simply to play the part that gives meaning to the message, therefore the words I say, the
things I do and even the feelings I feel could all be part of what the Spirit is wanting to say through the dream? Hence, “He came to his own but his own did not receive him”. John 1:11 No wonder Jesus didn’t look particularly happy in this dream, however, he never faltered in going out to his people, whether they received him or not, He seemed to do whatever was necessary without giving his opinion on anything, he just went wherever he was led, did what he had to do and moved on.
What do you think? Have I missed it or is there more to this than I can
presently see?

Ann, this is very good interpretation so I will just comment and add a little to it. Firstly I believe that you are portraying the people of God’s end time apostolic and prophetic anointing as the dreamer. They are of the spirit and purpose of Elijah as it was with John the Baptist relative to the second coming of Christ. The spiritual “darkness and gloom” in the land before the coming of Christ seems to agree with this.
On John the Baptist, who was of the spirit of Elijah and who is also embodied in God’s end time Apostolic and Prophetic anointing and ministry, Zecharias his father prophesied:
Luke 1:76
And thou, child, shalt be called the prophet of the Highest: for thou
shalt go before the face of the Lord to prepare his ways;
Luke 1:77
To give knowledge of salvation unto his people by the remission of
their sins,
Luke 1:78
Through the tender mercy of our God; whereby the dayspring from on
high hath visited us,
Luke 1:79
TO GIVE LIGHT TO THEM THAT SIT IN DARKNESS AND IN THE SHADOW OF DEATH, to guide our feet into the way of peace.

So we see, Ann, that this is a very significant dream for the instruction, edification and blessing of the saints! It does bear witness to Isaiah 9:1-7 in your background information. Glory to God!

I've actually got another question about a recurring theme that keeps
coming up in my dreams and I wondered if you could shed some light on it:-
In these dreams I see myself as being responsible for feeding a child or a
couple of children and there always seems to be a problem in getting the
food to them. Either obstacles get in the way or I'm not up to doing it, or
the food isn't that good and nourishing, or, as the last dream, I had to go
out to get the food and wondered how I was going to get it to them.
The Lord instructed me some time ago to feed his people and I'm wondering what all this might mean. Do you think these recurring dreams are trying to reveal a blockage somewhere which is why they keep coming back? I'd be grateful for your insight on this.

· Ann, although you portray God’s end time apostolic and prophetic anointing it is evident that you have a particular prophetic calling of God in your life to help teach God’s people (feed His people) and those whom God has called (children of the Apostolic and Prophetic anointing). Your recurring dreams on this theme means that this is established of God and it will take place soon. The dream is also saying that you first need to find nourishing food or the appropriate teaching that accompanies the growth and development of the children of God’s end time Apostolic and Prophetic anointing! Hi Daystar Family,
Praise His Holy Name!!! Blessings and refreshing to you dear friends. I had a dream last night that I felt I was totally conscious in. I was aware of everything in the dream - like a part of it, except that I cannot remember very much of it today in the natural. This doesn't make much sense, but it's the only way I can explain it (I certainly understand what Paul meant). It's as if it went on all night. My biological brother was in this dream.
This happened in another dream that I had for him. I had prayed for him for 9 years because he was in a religious cult, he came out of it 5 months ago. In that dream, I was there where he had been to get his children out and confronted the Jezebel spirit that runs the place (an ex-nun). It was very unreal, but of course it was a spiritual trip and confrontation, I now believe. I am still overwhelmed by this experience, wrestling against stronghold's, Eph. 6.
The night and prior to this dream, I have been getting deeper and deeper revelation of the power of the Blood.
My spirit was awake in a house somewhere else pleading the Blood over
people and covering them, especially my natural brother. I was running
through the house pleading the Blood. At the main level lobby on red
hardwood floor, my brother was standing there and the floor suddenly opened
up in a hole (about a foot in diameter) with bright swirling light behind
him. My brother was totally oblivious to it until it shot out, hit him and
consumed him. He became like an automaton ( a robot) and started to act as
if controlled. I broke it off him by the Blood, I knew this was evil, even
though there was such bright light coming from the hole. Then more holes
would appear in the floor, like gopher holes and the swirling light would
consume people. I would break this and cover them in the Blood. I was
running all over the house, upstairs and down, I almost couldn't keep up.
The holes were appearing in the floor and the lawn all over. I had to keep
going back to my brother, because it kept happening to him. This light
was like divination - spells of some kind. It was like a false kind of glory.
The people just allowed themselves to be taken over.
If you could please help me with this, I would appreciate it. This is the 2nd time I have felt as though I was somewhere outside my body on behalf of ones I love. I will do it again when and if He desires. I do feel that He can use me so much more when my mind and flesh are out of the way, and sleep takes care of that. Thank you so much and bless you all!!! This is an interesting dream experience. It is obviously about deception within Christendom which involves false light, false spirit and false glory.
2Cor 11: 13 For such [are] false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ.
14 And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.
15 Therefore [it is] no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as
the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.
You said that your brother came out of the cult he was involved in 5 months ago. This dream experience is therefore not about the cult he was in at that time. However, as it was with your brother, so there are those brethren so dear to you (represented by your brother in the dream) and who are in bondage to powerful deception that your spirit is interceding for and pleading the blood over.
The house and property of the dream could very well speak of a church or a church movement where the manifestation of this false wonder or false glory is being experienced. The dream is saying that the great deception here is sorcery or witchcraft of a very high order. (This light was like divination - spells of some kind. It was like a false kind of glory. The people just allowed themselves to be taken over.)
