I will begin by saying that several times recently I have dreamed about
empty purses (Pocketbook) or them being taken. I own a business here
in the state of Texas and have seen a downturn in the economy in the
last year. Troubling for sure....I'm so grateful that God is in Control!
This dream is a little fuzzy, so please bear with me. I know that my
brother is ill. We call an ambulance. My mother, father, and some-
one else is with me. The ambulance arrives and my brother is put
onto a stretcher. I see him and to my surprise he has wasted away
and is very thin. He also has sores all over his body. I am suspicious
because this does not look like illness. My sense is "pestilence".
** I believe you are right in that this dream is related to the economic downturn
in your
country of America. [several times recently I have dreamed about empty purses
(Pocketbook) or them being taken] Your sick brother represents a personification
of the
economic predicament of your nation so that the disease or pestilence that
afflicted him is
a portrayal of the economic crisis affecting the whole nation (sores all over
his body).
** The dream is showing how the economic downturn or recession is a severe
and
debilitating one. (The ambulance arrives and my brother is put onto a stretcher.
I see him and to my surprise he has wasted away and is very thin)
While standing here I look up to see activity in the near distance.
Here I see trucks/vehicles and a man in protective white suit such
as you see in chemical spills, etc. I am very dubious and know
that something is amiss.
** Dubious action by authorities to contain a life threatening-like mishap
in society (sub-
prime mortgage meltdown of the economy) is ominous indication of worse things
to
come.
Next, we are sitting in a white vehicle. My dad in front seat, and
myself, mother, and other (person) in the back. We are to use this
vehicle to follow the ambulance to hospital. We are awaiting a driver.
** At the time of the dream, people of America are eagerly awaiting leading
from
authorities of fiscal and monetary measures to heal the crisis.
I am leaning over the back seat showing my dad my silver collection.
There are some coins here that seem to have an attachment for hanging
(around the neck). Some are not valuable, but some are.
** The wealth of some families, companies and investments will lose value
(coins that
are not valuable) and others will perform admirably to maintain value (valuable
silver
coins for hanging around the neck).
In my sight line I see two men approaching and I tell my dad to hide the silver.
He doesn't see them coming. One comes to his side of the vehicle to get in.
I know that they are going to take us hostage. The drivers side door
is open (clear access) and my thought is to open the back passenger
door (behind drivers seat) and bail out. This is to distract the men
so they won't harm my parents. As I throw myself to the ground, the
man on my side takes a needle out and sticks it into my hip. This is the
end of the dream.
** It will be as if families, companies and investments were being violated,
robbed and
infected by the epidemic of economic crisis; there is no escape. (As I throw
myself to the
ground, the man on my side takes a needle out and sticks it into my hip)
