This web site contains information on scanning commercial trunk networks in the greater Sydney metro area.
With the release of Uniden's Trunk Tracking scanners, a new world of radio monitoring is now open to the scanning enthusiast.
This site is aimed at those lucky enough to own one of Uniden's BC-245XLT or 780XLT trunk tracking scanners - but the information can be used to conventionally scan the trunk systems. Now that the Australian version of these scanners is released, it is possible to track all of the Motorola Type II and LTR 800Mhz sites with all frequencies accepted.
The information on this web site is given with the proviso that the reader has a basic understanding of how radio trunking systems work. See the links below if a more in depth explanation is required.
