Things To Do Near TENRR

TENRR is uniquely situated close to many of the major parks and attractions of the Northern Territory.

Parks and Reserves

Kakadu National Park is world renowned for its wetlands, escarpments and wildlife.

On the two hour trip to Kakadu, you can visit attractions such as Fogg Dam, Window on Wetlands, and Mary River National Park to mention a few.

Less than an hour away to the southwest is Litchfield National Park with its many waterfalls, magnetic termite mounds, walking trails and spring fed water holes.

Only 15 minutes up the road at Berry Springs is the Territory Wildlife Park regarded as one of the best of its kind in the world. Next door is Berry Springs Nature Park where you can swim, snorkel with the fish or have a relaxing picnic.

Attractions

The city of Darwin is 70 kilometers north of TENRR. Here you can visit the MGM Grand Casino, see a movie at the Deck Chair Cinema, watch the sunset and have an exotic inexpensive meal at the Mindil Beach Markets.

Alternatively you could visit the art gallery and museum to see an excellent display documenting the devastion of cyclone Tracy followed by a quiet waterside lunch at one of the clubs at Fanny Bay, restaurants at Cullen Bay or takeaway eateries at Stokes Hill Wharf.
