Secrets of the Bible

THE GOSPELS

By reading the Gospels we realize that there are some differences between them. Of course this is understandable, while the writers elsewhere wrote as eyewitnesses, who seen the Lord and heard His teaching, but also they wrote based in information for which they couldn't verify, and elsewhere based of exact information as well. In relation with the teaching of the Lord, namely in relation of those writings that declare what the Lord said, in some areas they used their words, but must notice, some of these words served His Will of the Highest, while through some of these words and facts pass some of His messages. Through the enlightenment of the Holy Spirit, they  comprehended in high levels His teaching, but certainly not all of His prophetic words that apply to the days before the End. Mark and Luke were not of the Twelve, but took their information from the eyewitnesses, and from other sources as well. Perhaps they were also listeners, who among other people, were going to listen Lord's preachings.

In another words, the writers of the Gospels were enlightened, but also humans belonged of their time. They were eyewitnesses, who had to write the truth and only the truth about what they saw by their own eyes, also, what they heard with their ears, and as natural humans according to their memory, and according to what they knew in their historic time as correct. Like witnesses in court, which court is the world! The eyewitnesses must say whatever they heard and saw. They had to write also some prophetic words, inspired by the Lord! Meaning, it is very complicated subject, not about black or white. They were holy servants of the Highest, but were also humans, and humans of their time,  by the knowledge of that time.

It is also obviously, I think, that especially the Gospels have been written that way, so, if one can believe, fine. But if not, then must find some justified way out, which would render one less as possible guilty. The Lord spoke in comparisons, and I think, it was the main reason. To hear but not understand much. If you didn't know, the Lord says, you wouldn't have sins...

So because of those differences, I will try to distinguish them logical, and as much I can, I will try to show how could be interpreted, according to my understanding. I will try also to comprehend some other symbolic words and activities of the Lord.

According to John. In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that were made. In Him was life, and the life was the light of men, and the Light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not capture the Light. There was a man sent from God, whose name was John. This man came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light that all through Him might believe. He was not the Light, but was sent to bear witness of the Light. That was the true Light, and the Light gives light to every man coming into the world.

As I Believe.  John, through enlighten of the Holy Spirit, understood very well the allegorical writings of Moses, he understood that by the words, Let the Light be born, the inspired Prophet transfers beside the other message of the primitive light that shone on earth before the sun was created, he also passes and this great message of the Highest. Before the beginning of the creation, God "gave birth" to the Word, gave birth to the Light of the creation, and the Light was born against the darkness that existed on the face of the abyss. The Darkness that existed on the face of the abyss, according to my understanding, was the Great Dragon, the accuser of the humans. He is the terrible wound, the source of every evil that exists in the creation.

God created those He created by His Holy Word, and the Word is the Light of the Holy creation of the Highest. The Light is the life of the humans, which means, all the holy and positives that constitutes the means of life for the humans, as the love, the justice etc, siphon from the Spirits of God, and the Spirits come to the human by the Word. The Word is God is the Light and the Life of the human. If God withdraw His Spirits from the world, the world would be destroyed. Without God, the life is impossible to exist.  He is the Creator of life, and the Fountain of life.

And the Word, who is the Light and the Life of the people, came to the world He created. He came as Human. He came to smash the head of the snake. And smashing his head means to destroy his domination on the humans, because people by our own responsibility get trapped in the attractive ambushes of the Dragon. The result is to be debtors to the Devil. Those debts wouldn't possible paid by gold and silver, nor with sacrifices of animals, but by terrible sufferings and by death we pay them. The Dragon does not eat gold and silver; he uses gold and silver as "fishing" bait, but he eats lives and human's souls. The sufferings that people suffer, and the death that separates the human from the Creator who is Source of life, are exactly those ones that satisfy the dragon, while this is the nature of the evil.

Wherever the bad exists, wherever the corruption and disappointment stands, wherever is pain and death, there is the spirit of the Reptile. So who else would possible pay people's debts, and who could bring the man free in the arms of the Highest? No one else, but only God, the Creator of the human could pay. God created the human, and only God could save the human. If someone says he is a Christian, and doesn't believe that the Lord Christ is Part of God, if he doesn't accept that the Lord is the Son and Word of God, then he doesn't know what he believes. God, by His Word created the human, and by His Word would save him. That is why John writes, the Word became flesh. He became Man to come close to us. He was the Creator, and He became part of the creation, the Lord was separated from the Highest, and this separation was a death. And the Word became Flesh, the Son of God, the Light that was born before the beginning of the creation, became Man.

According to Luke. From chapter 1,verse 5. There was in the days of Herod, the king of Judea, a certain priest named Zacharias, of the division of Abijah. His wife was of the daughters of Aaron, and her name was Elizabeth. And they were both righteous before God, walking in all the commanders and ordinances of the Lord blameless. But they had no child, because Elizabeth was barren, and they were both well advanced in years. So it was, that while he was serving as priest before God in the order of the division, according to the custom of the priesthood, his lot fell to burn incense when he went into the temple of the Lord. And the whole multitude of the people was praying outside at the hour of incense. Then an Angel of the Lord appeared to him, standing on the right side of the altar of incense. And when Zacharias saw him he was troubled, and fear fell upon him. But the Angel said to him, do not be afraid, Zacharias, for your prayers is heard: and your wife Elizabeth will bear you a son, and you shall call his name John. And you will have joy and gladness, and many will rejoice at his birth. For he will be great in the sight of the Lord, and shall drink neither wine nor strong drink. (Meaning, he will not be depended from the materialist pleasures, he will be free from many materialist wants.)  He will also be filled with the Holy Spirit, even from his mother's womb.

Continue from the verse 26. Now in the sixth month the Angel Gabriel was sent by God to a city of Galilee named Nazareth, to a virgin betrothed to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David. The virgin's name was Mary. And having come in, the Angel to her, rejoice highly favoured one, the Lord is with you; blessed are you among women! But when she saw him, she was troubled at his saying, and considered what manner of greeting this was. Then the Angel said to her, do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favour with God. And behold, you will conceive in your womb and bring forth a Son, and shall call His name Jesus.

As I Believe. At the continuation, Luke inform us, and it seems rather clearly took his information from Mary, the Mother of the Lord, Mary after her discussion with the Angel, went to her cousin Elizabeth to tell her the great and joyful news, and lived with her for three months. Joseph was working in various places of Judea building houses.  According to Matthew, when Joseph saw Mary who was pregnant, and according to James she was six months pregnant, he was in big trouble. So, he thought about to put her away secretly. But he was not her husband.

According to Matthew, Joseph wanted to put her away secretly. Then an Angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream, saying, Joseph, son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary, for the Child who is conceived in her is of the Holy Spirit. She will bring forth a Son, and you shall call His name Jesus. The Prophet Isaiah had prophesied saying, behold the Virgin will give birth to a Son, and of course the correct is; people will say about Him, He is IMMANUEL, which means, God is with us. God came to the earth that He created in the structure of a Human. His name will not be IMMANUEL, but He was IMMANUEL, Lord is with us.

Now by reading the chapter 2 of Matthew, and also Luke's chapter 2, we realize that there are some differences, which will see them.

As I Believe. So let us see the difference between Matthew and Luke. Matthew writes, when the wise men went away, an Angel of the Lord appeared to Joseph in a dream, saying to him, Joseph, get up, take the Child and His Mother, and go to Egypt, and you will stay there until I tell you. So according to Matthew, the family went to Egypt and lived there until the death of Herod. And he wrote, this happened to fulfil the words that spoken by the Lord, and out of Egypt I called My son.

Hosea: 11,1.

Luke writes in chapter 2: 39. And when they had performed everything according to the law of the Lord, or rather according the tradition that became a law, they returned to Galilee to their own city of Nazareth. Now of course, both Matthew and Luke were based in some information, they were not eyewitnesses. But logical, things would happen as Luke wrote. Joseph and Mary went to Bethlehem because of the census, while his house was in Nazareth. So after the birth of the Lord, logical, because they couldn't stay any longer to Bethlehem. Why they would stay to Bethlehem! They didn't go there to stay, but only because of census. They also had no reason at all to go to Egypt, and certainly God "was not afraid" that Herod could kill the Lord before the time comes! (Well, of course, maybe they went to Egypt, but some other time). There was not any diabolical power that could even think to do something like this. God's plans were pre-determined, and even the Devil himself often is obligated to serve them, because he has no other choice.

Now as about the words of the Prophet Hosea, out of Egypt I called My son. I consider that these words are not mentioning at all to the Lord. As we read, the words applying to the people of Israel that were called son, or My people, and the words says; I called them to come close to Me from Egypt, and in as much I was calling them to come near to Me, further they went away, and sacrificed to false gods. I don't think these words constitute a prophecy. It seems that Matthew misunderstood these words, and rather he thought that they went to Egypt. Well, again, yes, they went to Egypt, but logical they didn't go at that time.

Now let see what rather happened in relation with the wise men and Herod? The wise men saw the star in the east, which of course it was a spiritual light, and not a planet of the universe. Besides if it was a materialist luminous star, then everyone would see it, while as we read, only the wise men saw it. So it was a spiritual Light, not a literal one. The star did not direct them also all the way, because simply, if directed them all the way, then they wouldn't go at all to Jerusalem. They went to Jerusalem because they thought the king of Israel, logical would be born in Jerusalem. After departed from Herod, then they saw again the star, which was directing them, but rather not to Bethlehem.

It seems that the star directed them in their home to Nazareth, and this should had happened quite some time after the Birth of the Lord. When Herod realized that in vain was waiting to see again the wise men, and because he didn't know that the Child with Joseph and His Mother had gone, he sent the soldiers to kill all the children of Bethlehem. The Prophet Jeremiah, at the chapter 31: 15, prophesied this slaughter. A voice is heard in Ramah, Lamentation and bitter weeping. Rachel is weeping for her children; she refuses to be comforted for her children, because they are not any more.

Now speaking about the slaughter of the children, we see it was already prophesied, and so it was unavoidable. If the star directed the wise men all the way from the east straight to the Child, then they wouldn't go at all to Jerusalem asking where the Lord was born. So while Herod wouldn't know anything about, to kill the children of Bethlehem. The Devil that put him to do this terrible crime, new also very well that couldn't kill the Lord before the time comes. But then, why this terrible crime occurred, and why it was prophesied? Whom did the slaughter of the children serve? Why they should get slay? Well, the killing of the innocent children was an act of revenge of the devil, because the Lord came to destroy his evil kingdom. The Word that created the human, had not much rights any more on the humans, most of the rights were belonging to the Devil, because the majority of the people were submitted to the spirit of the dragon. So how do you go justly in place, in which they do not want you?

People choose the evil, the unjust etc, and these things belongs to the Devil, and while choosing things belonged to Devil, therefore themselves belong to him. So there is no way just way for the Lord to come. The Devil says, it is not just, they don't want You. Let see it exemplarily. Someone has some children, and also has an enemy, to whom the main intention is to destroy them. The father warns his children to avoid his enemy, not to have any relation with him at all. Do not trust him, he is a liar, and the father of lie. But the children didn't obey to their father, and by their own responsibility were submitted to the enemy, and while became debtors by their will to the enemy, then by right belong to him. The father wants to visit them and save them, but they had chosen the enemy instead of their father. And although the enemy is unjust, he claims them justly, because they are debtors to him, and because they choose him. The father wants and must save them from the enemy by some way, and because is absolute just, He is disposed to pay for their debts. But to do so, must visit them in the state of the enemy, who has locked them in his prison.

The enemy knows very well that the father is powerful, and he also knows that He is absolute just. He knows that can destroy him, but if He does it, then as just must destroy also His children. Besides, the children had chosen by their own responsibility the enemy, and so there was not any just road in which the Father could visit His children. And He never walks in unjust road. So the innocent children were the only ones that belonged absolutely to God. Their blood, their innocent which the Devil shed by using the hands of his evil servant Herod, was the "capital tax" of revenging satisfaction for the Devil. And at the same time, it was an atoned and justified way of entrance, so the Lord may enter justly in the kingdom of the Devil, in order to save those who return repented, and also to destroy the state of the enemy. Well the Devil is obligated also to obey, when defeated... The Lord is the Master of life, and the innocent children that been slay from the Devil and his servants, their innocent blood opened the way for the Lord to come. Besides it was not the first time... but  these children became like Angels, and live forever near to the throne of the Highest.

As I Believe.   According to John. John writes; after the Lord was baptised, John the Baptist was standing and two of his disciples, and he looked upon Jesus as He walked and said, behold the Lamb of God. And the two disciples heard him speaking, and they followed Jesus.  Matthew and also Mark and Luke, they wrote that after the Lord was baptised, was led up by the Spirit into the desert to be tempted by the devil. And after He had fasted forty days and forty nights, He then became hungry. The Lord had to be tempted as Human, for the reason that He had to beat the Devil first as Human. And as we realize, His answers to the Devil were clearly human's ones. Whatever the Devil said, apparently good, or truth or lie, the Lord did not agree with him at all. And this is exactly the message; do not, never ever say yes to the Devil, never agree with him! Even if what he says, would be heard as logical and correct. The Devil never ever has any good in his spirit, and the only thing he wants is to trap you, and take you away from God. So, after His victory over the Devil Lord was ready, was the ready God who started His Action for the salvation of the people, and started the great journey, and the implacable war for the crushing of the state of the enemy.

Now in relation with the baptism and the water, the seas symbolize general people and nations and languages. And the water of the baptism symbolizes the people of God, which emerges out of the waters, meaning emerges out of the people of the earth and becomes holy, meaning separates to be belonging to God. Everyone must be baptised by his own choice and decision, because the choice of belonging to God must be strictly his own. He who get baptised, he first confesses his faith to Christ, and must admit that he wants to belong to the people of God. If, because of the circumstances, doesn't know the Lord and was not baptised, he is not responsible, and of course, God never judges anyone who is not guilty. The Lord was baptised for the reason He also was born as Human, He was baptised as the Son of man, and as Human is the first who belongs to the people of God. But the Lord is Part of the Supreme Mind, and the people of God are His people.

As I Believe. Again there are some apparently only differences between the Gospel of John and the other Gospels, in how the Lord met His first disciples. When those two disciples of John followed the Lord, they went home and stayed with Him until the time was ten. Then Andrew, who was one of the two, brought his brother Simon in front of the Lord. And the Lord called him Peter. Matthew at the chapter 4: 18 writes; As He was walking in the Sea of Galilee, He saw two brothers, Simon the one that was called Peter and his brother Andrew, who were casting the nets in the sea. And said to them; follow Me and I will make you fishermen of men. And they left the net and followed Him.

Mark also writes about the same things as Matthew. And Luke at the chapter 5: 1, and after, writes about the miracle with the heap of fish that Peter caught according to his information. So Matthew Mark and Lukas wrote that the Lord called His four disciples from the Sea of Galilee, and they were Simon or Peter, his brother Andrew, and the other two brothers, John and James. But John who was one of them, while Matthew, Luke and Mark were not; John wrote that Andrew and him as well were disciples of John the Baptist. He also wrote that Andrew brought his brother Simon, and from the first moment the Lord called him Peter.

Now of course, there is no doubt that all of them were fishermen, and besides the four writers confirm it. Because John also writes in the 21st chapter that Peter got to the boat, and the others together went fishing. But they didn't take any fish all night. And the Lord who was standing in the shore told them to throw the net in the right side of the boat, and they caught so many, that couldn't take them out. Only John wrote this miracle, which happened after the Resurrection of the Lord. Luke is also the only one who wrote about the similar miracle with the fish, and according to Luke, it happened at the beginning. But it seems that Lukas was not there, rather he heard about it, and it seems he didn't know when exactly happened, and because this miracle was connected with Peter, rather he supposed, or his information said, it occurred in the beginning.

But it is rather sure that this miracle, for which Lukas wrote, happened also, but not at the beginning. Luke wrote that the multitude was pressing around Him listening to the Word of God. Then the Lord got in Simon's boat asking him to take boat out a little way from the land. After He finished, asked Simon to throw again the net, and he caught so many fish etc. Then Simon was begging the Lord to go away from him, because he was a sinner. But I don't think that this miracle happened at the beginning, and certainly was not Simon. Rather it was some other fisherman, and not Simon Peter.

Now as for the words of the Lord, Follow Me and I will make you fishermen of men, rather the explanation is this. John wrote, they followed the Lord and stayed with Him until the hour ten. After they went away. Well, they left, but it seems rather clearly they went fishing, because yes, they were disciples of John, but they had also to work some hours of the day to live. So went fishing, and the next day in the morning, Lord met them again in the shore, and while the Lord saw them fishing, told them, follow Me and I will make you fishermen of men. There, Andrew brought his brother Simon to the Lord, and the Lord called him Peter.

The miracle in Cana. According to John the miracle in Cana was the first one. Before the miracle Lord said some words as; what is between you and Me o, woman?

As I Believe.  Let us see the interpretation of this miracle, and what the Lord meant by those words. Some confused people around, who pretend, as if they were the "judges" of the Lord, interpret these words as they think that would match them. They say that the Lord spoke with "lack of respect" to His Mother! Miserable words of miserable minds, people, who because of their unfaithfulness are unable to understand that whatever Lord did, was pre-determined, and no one could enforce Him to do something that He didn't want to do. Lord knew of course before He goes to the wedding that He would do the miracle, and of course He was not obligated from His Mother to do it.

Of course we should indicate that the Lord passes another message according to which, the young man who is going to get married must also cut off and the umbilical connection with his mother. Must be liberated from parents in order to be united with his wife, and the same applies for the young girl too. So yes, He had to pass a message to the world, but this doesn't mean an all that He behaved rude to His Mother. His teaching and His messages been written by simple language, but they are very complicated, they travel far away...

So, it was not something about Him and His Mother, but it was about to pass messages to the world. He didn't say, what is between you and Me Mother, but the Lord said, what is between Me and you woman. And also said, My time did not come yet. Lord did not mean what is between Him and His Mother, but what is, or what should be, between the man and woman. There was a wedding, and the Lord meant what were the relations that should be between husband and wife. With words, My time didn't come yet, He meant His time didn't come yet as a Bridegroom. Not as a common Bridegroom of a woman but Bridegroom of souls. He was at the beginning, and people didn't know Him yet. With His first miracle, Lord started His long journey to conquer souls and become the Great Bridegroom of souls.

He started His journey invited to a wedding and He did the first miracle. It was like saying, good morning human, you get marry and enjoy your self, and I start My journey for the conquering and for the salvation of your soul, I start from a wedding, from some of your special moment, and I also as Human, I could become a bridegroom of a woman, and I Am indeed a Bridegroom, but not of a woman, but Bridegroom of souls, but My time has not come yet, you do not know Me yet.

With His appearance in the wedding, and by offering wine, He passes the message that the wedding is a blessing one. He also says, that yes, people can drink some wine and enjoy; the wine is allowed for the human, especially in these cases, but as long the human remains free, and as long the human is not enslaved to the wine or in any other passion. He must stay free, and not let anything to enslave him. He wouldn't also be enslaved to his wife, and the wife shouldn't be enslaved to her husband. When they get marry they become one body, but the one body must obey to God, and to worship only God. If one of them refute the law, and become obstacle of the other's faith, then the other should ask him/herself, and should come to a decision in what should be between them. Who should be above all? The woman or God? The man or God? That is why the Lord said, what is between us woman? What is between the man and woman?

How far would they go with their relations? What are the allowed limits, and how much the two bodies can become one? Yes, no one should divorce them, but and no one should separate the other from God too. What the woman should do, when is not allowed from her husband to believe to God? And the same applies the other way around. She must love her husband but not to worship him, should not overcome the limits, should not make him or her an idol. Should not make the other a god. They become one body, but no one should worship any body, and of course not your body too. That is why the Lord said, what are between us woman, what should be the relations between the man and woman? You make up your mind!

In general, the Lord by His appearance into a wedding passes a lot of messages. His appearance confirms also that the wedding is the Will of God, the Lord says, people should get married!  The marriage between a man and a woman ONLY is blessed, it is the Will of God! The love between man and woman is God's gift, and there is not dark side in God's gifts, the devil, and our obedience to the devil is the one that cause darkness, and create dark sides in God's gifts. Through the wedding, through the unity of a man and woman only, God keeps creating new humans who regardless how much they are going to suffer in the evil kingdom of the reptilian mind, at the end God will save them and enable them to live forever happy in His Kingdom. There is also a confirmation that people should make official their wedding, and should enjoy it. Now, how about the monks and nuns? Why the monks and nuns?? And why the unmarried priests and bishops? What do they try to do by being "not normal" people? And look at the dark results, sad scandals and orgies, that being used as weapons in the hands of the devil against God and against people.

According to John. In relation with the entering to the temple, holding the famous whip. Continue to the chapter 2 verse 12.

As I Believe. By the words, "in the temple", means in general the temple metaphoric and literal, which metaphoric is the soul of the man, while the literal temple was in deed according the historians a wonderful building! One of its external walls, the "Wailing Wall", still remains there on which some others profaners urinate, and others, the lovely people of Israel who suffered so much than no other nation in the world, weep with bitterness and waiting with hope for their salvation. So the Lord made a ropy whip and chased every one out. Out the sheep, the cows and those who were selling them, He overthrew their tables and said to them, take these things away from here, do not convert the house of My Father into a house of trade. The other writers of the Gospels wrote also about this, but according to them, it happened at the last year, when the Lord entered in Jerusalem and the people welcomed Him with great enthusiasm and rejoice.

John writes, the Passover of the Jews was at hand, and the Lord went up to Jerusalem. Rather he means the first Passover since Lord started His teaching. Some time ago, the Lord started His deed, but while it lasted three years, therefore He started after the previous Passover, and in the continuation, the Passover that John wrote about, rather was the first one since He started His teaching and He was known in the areas of Judea and Galilee. The merchants had already, from long time ago, converted the temple into cavern of robbers and into trade centre, with the dirty business, something, which doesn't make any difference if the one writer wrote cavern of robbers or trade centre. But it seems that the Lord said both, rather He said, don't convert the house of My Father into trade centre, and into cave of robbers. Because He knew of course their greediness, and how much they used to deprive all those who were coming to bye some animal to offer sacrifice.

But regardless if they were robbing or not, they shouldn't trade in the temple. But because of the traditional law of the priests to sacrifice to God, for atonement or for expressing thanks to God, the faithful had no other choice than to brink the animal in the temple. And therefore, the existence of the animals in the temple was very usual. But the Lord drove all of them out, regardless if they bought them from those merchants or if they brought them from their houses. So it was like saying to them, that these kinds of sacrifices to God are not allowed, and God doesn't want them. Well, since God doesn't want sacrifices, then why is it written in the law, that God wants sacrifices? And why the Lord used to tell them to obey the law and offer the sacrifice, which was according the law? Yes, of course, God never asked for sacrifices, why would ask? And of course did not enjoy as they thought the "pleasing smell" of the burning fat.

All these things as the sacrifices, the circumcision, unleavened bread etc, started from the old gods tribal leaders and fathers. The sacrifices used to work as fines for bringing them to their senses, it also was a way to express thanks, and also as they thought, by sacrifice an animal, this action would atone them from their sins. With the sacrifice also they used to confess their sins, and gave promise that will never fall again in the same sin. And while it was a law, they should obey the law as long the law existed. So the Lord with this action, wanted also to preach that this traditional custom is coming close to end. No more sacrifices, there is no way for the blood of the animal to forgive sins. Now if it happened in the first year or in the second or third, it is rather unknown, but I don't think it is important at all. The important is the words that the Lord said.

The Jews asked Him, what sign do You show to us by doing so? Meaning, who are you, and what do you want to tell us by your action? Perhaps it is wrong to sacrifice, and we should not do it? In the writings of the Prophets we often read that God doesn't want sacrifices. The only sacrifice that atones and forgives sins is His Sacrifice. It is the Everlasting Sacrifice. But the Israel as nation did not recognize the Lord and did not accept Him. That is why, the Lord told them, destroy this temple and I will build it again in three days. Meaning, you will destroy the temple of God in your nation, but I build it again in three days. He did not mean only His crucifixion, and His Resurrection on the third day, but the third day means especially the third millennium, in which the temple of the Lord will be completed. The Jews as nation rejected the Lord, and for two thousand years after Christ, are still waiting for the Messiah.

They will recognize the Lord as the Messiah after the second millennium. Namely on the third millennium, on the third day, will recognize Him, and the Lord will dominate in the whole world. That was what the Lord meant by the "third day". Lord was resurrected on the beginning of the third day, but did not dominate yet at the whole world, and of course did not dominate on the Hebrews. Therefore the temple of God is not completed up till now. The building of the temple goes on, and of course the temple of God is not some building, it is not the temple of Solomon, on which no stone left upon a stone, neither some other building church. The temple of God, which will be completed on the third day, is the people of God, which will dominate on the earth on the third day, on the third millennium.

The same message comes out and from the Prophet Jonah. He passed symbolical three days and three nights in the sea, transferred by a whale. And the Lord also is passing through the sea, through the world, and the whale that is currying Him, is His people with their love and faith. All of them, Orthodox, Catholic, Protestants, etc.  On the third day, on the third millennium, He will dominate on the whole world, and after one more day, one more millennium, then the materialist world will be destroyed, and God will create a new world, a new spiritual creation which will be absolutely according to His Holy Will.

The writers of the Gospels wrote of course that the Lord meant only the Temple of His Body, but it was not the time to interpret all the messages. Many prophetic messages can only be interpreted at the time in which are applying. And now, we are on the third day, we are on the third millennium, and so we can see very clearly that the Lord keep on building His temple, and at last, the time to be completed, is very near. His teaching is transferred from time to time, from generation to generation, in the whale, which is His people, it nests in the hearts of the faithful, in which the woman finds relief, the faith, as it flies in the desert of the corruption. The Hebrew people, who rejected Him, are very close in recognizing Him. The Israel's state exists again; their scattering in the four corners of the earth is over. The corruption goes deeper and deeper; the abomination of desolation is out of the door, the dragon vomits the rivers of the scientific enlighten to make the faith sinking. And as the Lord said, truly I say to you, that generation will not pass way, all these will happen, and then you will see the Son of man coming with clouds of the sky.

Chapter 3, According to John.  In this chapter we will think about the words that the Lord said to Nicodemus.

As I Believe. Nicodemus was a honest Pharisee, he was a believer to the Lord, but he kept his faith secretly, because he was afraid of the others. So he came at night time (secretly) to the Lord and asked Him, Teacher, we know that You have come from God as a Teacher, for no one can do these sighs that You do unless God is with him. And the Lord said to him; truly I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the Kingdom of God. Unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter into the Kingdom of God. So, the human must be born again spiritual.

Because we were born and live in the materialist world, in which mostly rules the prince of this world. It is the kingdom of darkness. Now because someone was born and live in his kingdom, therefore have chosen things that belong to the devil. And while pick up those things, the devil maintains that this human is also belong to him. So he must reject all those things that belong to the devil, and must be born again in a spiritual way, which belongs to God. He must choose to obey only to God.

The people and nation that are not obedient to God, are symbolized by the sea, the non fresh, the muddy waters, and for someone to enter in the Kingdom of God, must first be born in this spiritual, symbolic water, and this water symbolize God's people, the people of the symbolic Israel. It means, to separate from the "old muddy sea", (not of course from the sea, which means that the water used only as symbol, nothing more, the water has not any magic or some other kind of supernatural abilities, the same thing applies about the wine as well that used as symbol of the Blood of the Lord, it is not of course Blood, it symbolizes His Blood for the believer, while for the non believer it is only wine), to be part of those people who choose to obey to God, and is atoned and cleansed.

The baptism into symbolical water constitutes the confession of the faithful man, by which he confess, that he/she rejects the kingdom of the devil, repented and returned to God, and by doing so, declares that he/she wants to belong to the people of God. The baptism in the literal water should occur as well, while, and beside of the acceptation and confession of  the faithful that believes to the Lord, it should also occur literal in order to keep the memory through the repeating and tradition for very complicated reasons.

Lord said, must be born from above. And that means, God is the One who calls him to be born again, and also God seals his spiritual birth. (the meaning of the words, "God chooses the one to be born again" is very complicated, and so very  unspeakable I would say; it is enough to remember always that God never ever acts unfair). Lord also said, it is like the wind that blows where it wishes. You may hear the sound of it, but you do not know where it comes from and where it is going. Someone who is not born again, may hear about this, but while has not personal experience, he doesn't understand what is the meaning.

It is like hearing the wind, but from what spot started to blow, and where it will stop blowing, he doesn't know. However, by the words, "the wind blows wherever wants" refers also in general to the salvation, which is not only for the Christians of course, while God loves all the people and has very complicated plans and ways to visit and saves every one regardless in which religion belongs. The Spirit blows, goes wherever wants without inform or paying attention to the theories and demands of "unmistaken" doctrines that no less no more monopolize the exclusiveness of God's love.

But for someone to be born again spiritual, and belong to the people of God, and also obtaining the salvation of every human, it was absolutely inevitability for the Lord to be raised on wood. And He said, as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted. So the Lord with His Sufferings, with His Pain and Blood, He paid for our sins, He paid our debts, He liberated the faithful human from the authority of the devil.

As I Believe.  The Vivifying Water. In the chapter 4, John describes Lord's discussion with Samaritan woman. The Lord was very tired from the long walking, and sat closed to the well to have some rest. So we see, that although He was God, He did not do any miracle in order to help Himself! He was suffering peacefully the exhausting, the hunger and thirstiness like many other people, and that reveals a lot. Every human, as long lives in the materialist world, will suffer from all of these. It is inevitable part of the life, and the Lord suffered all these, as long He lived as Human. If God was not absolute True and Just, then He would say, let make an exception for My Son!! But no, in God, there is no space at all for the lie.

We say that God is Almighty, and because I want to emphasize the meaning of the real power, I say, the Lord somewhere is not Almighty, because He cannot avoid to be absolute True and Just. He cannot be unjust at all. There is not defect to God. We may say for ourselves, well, it does not matter if we are not perfect, but in God, nothing less than the perfection exists. God does not compromise with the nearly. The absolute truthfully and justice, are true and perfect powers, they are part of His almightiness. The lie and the unjust are signs of the weak, are signs of the devil, and the Devil will be smashed in his lie and in his injustice.

Between the Samaritans and Jews there were religionist differences, which often led unto separations and disputes. The Jews used to say, that only in Jerusalem should worship God, while the traditions of the Samaritans said that they should worship on a concrete mountain. Well, of course, it wouldn't make any difference about the place. And as the Lord said, the true worshipers should worship with truth and spirit, regardless where they worship. But, what was that mountain for the Samaritans, and why they believed only that mountain was the right place to worship? Well, that mountain was something like the mountain Olympus, on which the "gods lived".  It was the mountain of the gods.

Of course, the Samaritans did not worship any more their fathers and tribal leaders, but in their ignorance preserved some traditions, originated from the worshiping of those gods. They were doing it in their ignorance, and that is why the Lord said to her, you worship what you do not know, but we, meaning the Jews, worship that, which we know. The Prophets gave hard battles to cut off the people from those traditions that related with the idolatry, and also of the worshiping of deified trees. The same also for the worshipping on those gods, for whom they thought were living on some mountain. So they set Jerusalem as the only appropriated place to worship God. By any possible way, they should forget the old gods, and not in their ignorance to identify them with God.

That is why they should say; not to the trees, burn the deified forests, not to the mountains, on which the gods lived, as they thought, not to the idolatry. Come to Jerusalem, which is not a deified forest, or a pagan mountain. But before this discussion, the Lord asked her to give Him some water, and when she was surprised, He said to her; if you knew the gift of God, and who is the One that says to you, give Me a drink, you would have asked Him, and He would give you the living water. What did the Lord mean by the living water? Which is the living water? Well, certainly, the Lord correlated the common water with the Vivifying Spirit of life, the Spirit of God.

The water is for drinking, and the drinking water quench the thirst, and vivifies the body. But this water does it only temporary, only temporary it quench the thirst and vivifies, and of course, without water no materialist body could live. But and without the Vivifying Spirit of God, there is no soul that could live. So whoever drinks the literal water will be thirsty again, so needs to drink again, otherwise will die, while the Spiritual Water of God offers eternal life. And we don't drink the Spirit again and again, since we drink it, one time is enough. Because when a soul becomes a part of the people of God, it becomes forever, doesn't ask to drink again, doesn't ask to vivify again his soul, because since the soul has been vivified from the Spirit of the Highest, lives forever in the Spirit, and is immortal.

As I Believe.  The Five Porticoes.  Let see now the miracle in the sheep gate pool with the five porticoes. The building of the pool which started 400 B, C. is referred to book of Nehemiah. John is the only one who wrote about this miracle, and of course the miracle happened, but the question is if the Angel indeed was coming down to stir up the waters, or if it was about public belief. We do not know of course, but we do not have reasons to doubt about. Certainly the pool was there, and a lot of sick people were there who were expecting to become well by some miracle. Of course they wouldn't see the Angel coming, but that was what they believed, and certainly God did not let down him who had faith. But it seems that the pool with the five entries, has mostly allegorical meaning. Some people interpret the five entries as symbols of the five senses. As an allegory of the five senses it broadcast symbolical messages. It rather tells us, the human is unable to save himself by leaning only to his five senses, and namely he cannot save himself with only his own abilities. He needs help, and to have help must ask for.

That is why, the Lord asked him, do you want to get well? It is heard like a strange question, because who doesn't want to get well? Well, it is not a strange question, and of course the Lord did not ask him in purpose to learn if the paralytic wanted to get well. But with this question passes exactly this message; if you want to get well, not only physical, but also mostly psychical, you must ask for, you must accept that your abilities only are unable to cure you physical, and mostly they are unable to cure you psychical. To get in the pool of God you need help from above, for which you must ask for, and asking for, it presupposes your endeavour to get liberated from the illusion of your powers, you must be liberated from the passions of your senses. Everyone is running for himself. Because as much someone wants really to help you, and as much he may try, he cannot do it. Your will is obligatory. You are obligated to ask help from above. And to be in position to ask help from above, it presupposes your will to struggle for independence and for liberation from the idols. It is a matter of psychical condition, it is a matter of your decision to get liberated, and then you may ask help from above.

Let see the continuation. The day in which the Lord did this miracle was Saturday. When the Jews saw the man carrying his bed, they told him, it is not forgiven to lift up your bed in Saturday. He told them, that He who made me well, told me, lift up your bed and go. Well, the Lord could tell him, listen, because to day is Saturday, do not carry your bed. Leave it here and go home. Come tomorrow to pick it up. But as it is very obvious, the Lord used to provoke them, because it was not possible to be compromised with the illogical and the hypocrisy. The law says, don't work on Saturday, but it doesn't say, don't move. It doesn't say, don't help someone who needs help on Saturday. Namely, someone is drowning in the sea on Saturday, and the other say to him, wait until tomorrow! Or when it is the time for a woman to give birth, and the midwife tells her, wait until tomorrow, because today I don't work. Well everything must be in logical terms. The Lord also told them, My Father is working, and I work too. And these words say also, that the creation is not over yet. When the Creator works, it means of course that He creates, and saves people. So the Lord said indirect, that the creation is not over yet.

Let see some other words. When the Lord saw the previous paralytic in the temple, said to him, look now, you have become well; don't sin any more, so that nothing worse may befall you. What did the Lord mean by these words? Did perhaps He mean that the sins cause diseases? Well, the sins may cause diseases as well, and of course various reasons may cause the diseases, and among them are also the psychological factor. We will not enter now in the fields of the doctors, but certainly there is not any doctor who would refuse to accept that some diseases start from the sick soul. The sin is a factor that causes guiltiness for a sensitive person, which leads into nervousness and worries. And of course all these distress the harmonically function of the body, and often they become factors of fatal diseases.

But the Lord didn't mean only the diseases that kill the body, but certainly He meant especially those diseases that kill the soul. He said, do not sin any more, so that nothing worse may befall you. And what could be worse for someone, than to lose his soul? The physical disease is the one that kills the body, and the spiritual disease, which is the sin, it may sentence the soul. But speaking general, the diseases in the creation originated from the interpositions of the devil. Well, we may understand and interpret this phenomenon by various natural factors, and so everything is appeared as natural. But the question is, what is exactly natural, and how did the diseases start to exist in the nature? Of course the subject is very complicated, there are not easy and clear answers. Simply, the world covers a great reality using words and names, because we are unable to interpret it. They call them natural phenomenon, and especially those who don't believe to God, they interpret them as unconventional behaviour of the "mother" nature. But regardless if they believe or not, this doesn't change the reality. And the reality is that God exists, and also the devil exists with his interpositions in the nature. He is the darkness, the destroyer of the life. He is the factor of every evil, and the factor of every disease that exists in the creation.

The Lord said very clearly, in My Kingdom, in which the devil will not have any right, and no place to stand, meaning he will be defeated and he will be enforced to go away. There will not be any diseases or problems, and therefore the nature of the devil, which exists in the nature of the materialist world, will not be at all into His Kingdom. So the diseases exist in the nature, because in the nature exists the nature of the devil. He is the one that brought in the diseases, he created the bad, and he is moving it around, but he has not absolute power, not absolute rights, because the people obey also to God, and therefore he has no right and authority to rule everywhere, and destroy everything. In the Kingdom of God there will not be any diseases and sufferings, and if God created the materialist world without the existence of the darkness, there wouldn't be diseases and sufferings, because simply, there would be some other nature, some other reality, other circle of life.

So this subject is very complicated, and indeed the sins are related with diseases by various ways, and not only because they inflame psychical disorders. It is also to comprehend that the main intention of the Highest is to save our souls, and this becomes succeeded by various ways, for which, is difficult for us to spot and comprehend. In another words, we are unable to know, in every case, what is God's intention, and what we know for sure, that always, His holy intention is to save souls. Lord said; My Father is working, and I work too. The working of the Creator is to create and save souls. God did not abandon His creation.

Let see the continuation. John writes that the Jews wanted to kill the Lord, because He didn't keep the Saturday. So according to them, the Lord didn't obey to the law, and if someone doesn't obey to the law, must die, again according to God's law. The one law says, don't work on Saturday, the other law says, don't kill, the other says, love the others. And these are God's laws. If you love the others and if you obey to the law, don't kill, then you don't kill him, who worked on Saturday. And God have all the authorities and the ways may punish him who worked on Saturday. So, who gave the law, to kill someone who worked on Saturday? Very clearly, if someone enforces this law, then he abolishes all the others. So how it was possible that God would contradict Himself, saying, don't kill, love the others as you love yourself, and then saying, kill him who worked on Saturday, and yes, even if this work would help or save someone? But beside this, those people were eyewitnesses of so many miracles, and although they could see the power of God with their own eyes, they wanted to kill Him who had on His Hands the power and the Will of God.

And the Lord told them; you have not the love of God in yourselves. I have come in My Father's name and you don't receive Me, if another shall come in his own name, you will receive him. How can you believe, when you receive glory from one another, and you don't seek the glory that is from the one and only God? Well, if someone is corrupted, a servant of the devil is blind, and whatever he may see with his eyes, he wouldn't see and wouldn't understand anything. Simply, a blind is unable to see, and a deaf is unable to hear. Of course, because of the darkening of the time, with various rogues who pretended that they were jugglers, and from various renown and gossips, etc, they were somewhere familiar with the miracles, and they were not so much impressed from them. But all this, namely all that scenic, which goes on until our days, with the rogues and jugglers, the fakir tricks, the charlatans etc, it is nothing more than another tactic of the devil by which he blinds the corrupted, so they may be unable to see the true miracles, and if it is possible for him, to blind even the pious ones.

As I Believe.  The Bread of Life. In the chapter 6, John describes the one miracle with the five bread and the two fish. He also writes that Passover was near, which means, the second year of His teaching was about to finish. After the miracle with the bread and fish, the Lord departed, because as John writes, the people wanted to make Him king. Well, simply, John describes the facts and the intentions of the people, by his way. He would write them by using some way, but of course the Lord didn't go away because of this reason. Who were the people, and who was the man who could change the plans of the Highest! No one of course, and certainly the Lord didn't think that way, neither He was afraid that they could kill Him before the time comes, or make Him a king. He left alone and went up to the mountain, in order to show to the people God's power and pass messages.

John writes, when the evening came, His disciples went down to the sea. Meaning they were waiting for some time, a few hours, and then they said, let us go to the sea, the Lord will come there to meet us. They didn't know His plans, and because they were waiting in vain to see Him coming, they got in the boat, and thought to go to Capernaum. It was dark and the waves were mounting danger, but they couldn't see the Lord anywhere. While they went quite away from the shore, they saw Him walking on the sea, and coming near to the boat, and they were shocked. And the Lord told them, don't be afraid, I Am, don't be afraid, I Am God. And suddenly the boat arrived at the place, in which was going.

The next day, those people who came to listen the Lord, were in that place in which the boat with the disciples arrived. They saw that there was not any other boat, but only that one by which the disciples came. They knew also very well that the Lord didn't get in the boat with His disciples; they saw with their own eyes that only the disciples departed with the boat. In another words, when the Lord went alone up to the mountain, all the people went down to the sea, and while they were also waiting in vain to see Him coming, then they all got in the boats and they came in Capernaum. It seems that they all came with boats, and returned with the same boats. They knew that all the boats and people had gone away from that place, and only the Lord stayed back there alone.

They saw with their own eyes that the disciples departed alone, and there was not any other boat left. So when they saw Him at the other place, they were very astonished. Because while they came very late, because of the waves and the storm, they found the boat with disciples there and the Lord was with them. But then, how did He come? If the boat with the disciples had returned to take Him, then how come they were there before them? In this case, the boat with the disciples should arrive much later than them. That is why the asked very astonished; Lord, how did You come here?

The Lord said to them, truly I say to you, you seek Me, not because you saw signs, but because you ate of the loaves, and were filled. Do not work for the food which parishes, but for the food, which endures to eternal life, which the Son of man shall give to you, for on Him the Father has set His seal. Of course most of the people were not seeking Him because they ate and filled, and the Lord certainly did not apply to them. A lot of people loved and adored Him, and often they used to go through hunger and other hardship in order to be near to Him. But among them, were also following and the various unemployed and hungry people, who as usually run wherever people run and gather, hoping that they may get some food to eat. With them were also following like horseflies all those opportunists and spies of the Pharisees and high priests. So the Lord mostly applied to them. It is obvious, that others were asking in good will to learn, and others were asking in purpose to annoy Him.

Some good intentioned asked, what could we do, that we may work the works of God? And the Lord told them, to believe in Him whom He has sent. But the spies of Pharisees were following in purpose to provoke Him, and they were asking questions as if they knew very well the scriptures in order to impress the people, and make them not to believe. That is why they asked the Lord in provoking way; who are You, and why we should believe in You. What is it that You do? They had nothing else to say, and they brought again up the issue with their fathers in the desert. They were trying to say to the people, that Moses is the one whom God sent. Namely they were saying that Moses is our Prophet, we do not know Him.

But the Lord was not much concerned about their pursuits and foolishness, and of course He wanted to teach the good intentioned ones. That is why the Lord used to give answers to the spies so the other may hear and be taught. So to those He said, truly I say to you, it is not Moses who has given you the bread out of heaven, but it is My Father who gives you the true bread out of heaven. Now some good intentioned, not the spies, said to the Lord, give us this Bread. And the Lord said, I Am the Bread of Life; he who comes to Me shall not hunger, he who believes to Me shall never thirst.

Of course He didn't mean that whoever follows and believes to Him would not by hungry for the materialist food, but certainly He meant that his soul wouldn't be hungry and thirsty. And of course when the faithful goes away from the perishable matter and be united with Him, would never be hungry and thirsty. The Lord was mostly speaking about the spiritual supplies, because even He as long He lived on the earth, was suffering the hunger ant thirst. In the kingdom of the devil those who are not hungry and thirsty in materialist food, are those who have everything, while a real Christian always is petite of food. Because when he eats and drinks well, while he knows that other people are starving and suffering a lot, he is not a real Christian. He must carry his cross, and on the cross it is also written the word privation.

The Lord also told them, all that My Father gives Me will come to Me, and the one who comes to Me I will certainly not cast out. So the Lord spoke by absolute sureness. There is nothing that would contradict God. There is no power in the world that would succeed to frustrate the salvation of those people, which are invited from God into His Kingdom. But to be so, the Lord had to atone them, to teach them and show them the way to the salvation. He told them that He came down from heaven, and of course did not come as materialist body, but by this materialist Body, in which was born and grew up with the food as every body, with this Body God came on the earth. Many of them were not able at that time to comprehend, and that is why many even from those who were good indented, were grumbling when they heard these words, and said; why did He say to us that came from heaven? Those people knew His Mother, and knew also Joseph for whom they thought was His father. And after all, He said that came from heaven. Of course Lord was saying the truth, but it was very difficult for them to comprehend and accept it.

The Lord spoke also about His symbolic Blood and Body, and said, whoever eats His Body and drinks His Blood in a symbolic proceeding, he would be atoned, and become part of His Body, would become part of His Church. Many of them or rather all of them were not able yet to comprehend, and that is why they were grumbling and said, how can He give us His flesh to eat? Well, it was really difficult to comprehend, and indeed, these words were heard as really uncomprehended, and intolerable. But that is exactly another also reason, because these words were only divine. Not an ordinary human would ever say these words. Let us imagine about someone who teaches and says that the others must eat his body and drink his blood! And tell them that this action would bring them closed to God! And rather that is why the Lord spoke like this, row and uncomprehended, while He knew of course that many of them would turn away from Him. He passes a message to the confused wise people, and if indeed they have wise antennas, then it would be easy for them to comprehend that only God would speak like that. Now the fact that they walked away from Him, doesn't say much, because some time later, certainly they understood and returned to the Lord.

As I Believe.  The Brothers of the Lord.  John writes, after these things Jesus was walking in Galilee; for He was unwilling to walk in Judea, because the Jews were seeking to kill Him. Well, what did John want to say with these words? John knew very well that the Lord was not afraid anyone, because no one could kill Him before the time comes. And John wrote about this very clearly in other parts of the Gospel. He writes; no one put his hand on Him, because it was not the time. So who the Lord would be afraid for, and who was the one who could frustrate or change God's plans? Not one of course. But as it is very obvious, the Gospel writers had to be absolute steady with the truth. They had to write the truth according to what they saw and heard, and according to their memory. They had to be true and objective witnesses, and this kind of witness says what he saw and heard and what remembers.

If some things didn't happen exactly as someone wrote, this doesn't mean of course he didn't say the truth, meaning did not hide or falsified the truth, but simply he did not remember very well, or couldn't make sure if the information was absolute correct. But we also must understand that besides the teaching of the Lord, for which they had to write about, they also had to write about those things that the other people used to say about Him. For example, what did the others would say when they saw the Lord walking in Galilee? What did those people say, and how did they interpret same happenings? They used to say; He doesn't go to Judea because the Jews want to kill Him.

So the Gospel writers had also to write and the various conversations and gossips with the various public parodies and perceptions. We also see that they didn't try to hide not even those rumours about His brothers. Well, the fact that His brothers didn't believe Him, it is not sure at all. It is rather very sure that all those words about His brothers, who "didn't believe" were only slyly words of the Pharisees and secretaries, who were trying by any possible way to defame Him. They were the ones who spoke fake words, saying to the others, look, didn't you hear, not even His brothers believe Him. But whatever true or false, couldn't they perhaps hide these things instead of shout them out?

Well, yes, they could hide it if they were liars and fabulists. But the Apostles were taught to write about the truth and only the truth, because in God there is no place for a lie. It is different matter, if I don't remember very well, and different to say lies. It is different issue the wrong information for which I couldn't verify it for if it was correct, and it is different issue the misinformation, to which the intention is, to impress others in order to deceive them. In another words, the Gospel writers wrote in many areas under holy inspiration, which had become their knowledge, and elsewhere they wrote alone and as eyewitnesses. They also wrote according the information, and also they wrote whatever other people around said or believed.

Speaking about His brothers, we understand the Above Birth of the Lord had to stay secretly until the time comes to be known. Besides it was not easy at all for someone to say at those years that He was the Son of God. And of course not His Mother or Joseph would reveal the great secret of His Birth. The Lord had first to grow up; to live and be tempted as normal human, and this secret had to remain locked. That is why the other villagers used to say; it is not Him the Son of Mary and Joseph? His Mother could not say anything, because she knew that would reveal it only when it is the correct time. And certainly she revealed the secret of the Birth to Lukas and to the others after the Crucifixion and Resurrection of the Lord.

So John transfers in the Gospel and the public beliefs and impressions, and, regardless how much the environment was stretched, certainly the Lord was not afraid, and did not go secretly to Jerusalem. If He were afraid, He wouldn't go at all. But without repeating the same things let us hear some revealing words of the Lord. Those people wanted to arrest and kill Him, and their main justification was the one that He cured people on Sabbath. And the Lord told them, did not Moses give you the law, and yet none of you carries out the law? Which law did the Lord mean? Well, He meant especially the law, which says; do not kill. But those who "were obedient to the law" they were the ones who wanted to kill! And the Lord told something else.

For this reason Moses had given you circumcision, not because it is from Moses, but from the fathers, and on the Sabbath you circumcise a man. Meaning, the only reason for which Moses was obligated to accept the circumcision was exactly for them, to be obligated to perform circumcision on the day of Sabbath. So they might be enforced to move, do not stick hypocritical into foolish little things; to make them understand that the law says, don't work on Sabbath, do not work in the production materialist goods, and in other works as buildings, etc, have a rest on that day, and glorify your God. It is not about to be fanatic on Sabbath, you can move on that day too, you can help someone who needs to be helped on Sabbath.

As I Believe. The Resurrection of Lazarus.  In the chapter 11 John writes about the resurrection of Lazarus. In the verse 7 the Lord said to His disciples; let us go to Judea again. And because they were afraid to go again to Judea, He told them; Are there not twelve hours in the day? If anyone walks in the day he does not stumble, because he sees the Light of the world. With the twelve hours of day, which the Lord correlated with the Light and Darkness, He means there is some kind of currently balance between the Light and Darkness. Those things, which are pre-determined to happen, will happen in the pre-determined time. It is in vain and also silly to be afraid because of the Pharisees. If one walks in the day he does not stumble. Whoever walks according the Will of God will not fall, because he sees the Light of the world, he sees the True Light. But if he walks at night, meaning if he obeys in the spirit of the Devil, (symbolical night) he stumbles, he will fall and hurt, because he rejects the Vivified Light of the world.

By His words in the verse 4, which Lord said, "this sickness is not unto death", it comes out that the death of Lazarus mostly occurred so the people might see by their own eyes, that the life does not disappear after the death of the materialist body. Lazarus was four days dead, but when the Lord called him, he was alive in another form of life. The Lord did not call someone who ceased to exist, but He called the immortal spirit of Lazarus. He did not say, Father give to Lazarus back the life, but He shouted, Lazarus come out. And Lazarus who was alive, heard the voice of the Lord, and by the Will of the Highest he returned into his dead body. Lord said, God is God of the alive, not of the dead.

God is the Master of life, and he who believes can be sure that your life will not be lost. When the Lord saw his sisters and others crying, He also was deeply moved in Spirit and was in trouble. But it is to notice that He knew that in a few minutes Lazarus would be again present. With His tear and sigh, the Lord tell us, it is correct and understandable to mourn about the separation from some beloved person, but we can be encouraging, because the separation is only temporary, our beloved person was not lost forever.

You may have courage, you little bird, the Lord says, you have courage and faith little boy/girl human, the Lord of life has prepared for you eternal and happy life. He did not create this marvellous creation for no reason. You cannot even imagine what the Highest can do. Do not be suffocated in big materialist concerns, and do not be afraid, your Creator is your Father, and He did not abandon you. But alas to him who get trapped in the passions and becomes a worker of the Devil. Because then, and if he doesn't return before is too late, he is not belonging to God. And if someone is a worker of the Devil, regardless how great miracles may see with his eyes, unfortunately he will be unable to believe. That was what exactly happening. Many of those secretaries and Pharisees were like whiten tombs in which the stink and the death dominate.  There were so blind, and although saw so many miracles by their own eyes, but because of corruption, were like hypnotized, and they couldn't see, neither understood anything.

They were also afraid that the people could revolt against the Romans, and so they may lose their position with their good interests, or even their lives. That is why Caiaphas said to them, it is better, one man should die for the people, so the whole nation should not parish. He meant, the Romans would consider them as responsible for any agitation would be occurred. The people were following and believed to the Lord, and because all of them were expecting the Messiah as liberator, for the reason they misunderstood the Prophets, they were afraid that the people would revolt against the Romans, in order to make the Lord king.

And because of their blindness they didn't believe that the Lord is the Messiah, they were afraid that a public revolution would lead into a terrible disaster for the nation and for themselves. That is why he said those words. Well, of course, John wrote that Caiaphas prophesied as the high priest of that year, but I don't think he prophesied, but simply his words were heard and had been interpreted as prophecy. Besides, the Lord did not suffer for a nation, He was not crucified only for the people of a nation, He suffered the terrible Crucifixion for His people, and His people come from all the nations of the world, and they are all sons of man. He was not crucified for a nation.

As I Believe.  Sitting on a donkey.  John writes, six days before the Passover the Lord came to Bethlehem where Lazarus was, whom He had raised from the death. They sat around the table to have a supper and Martha was serving. Lazarus was rather sitting somewhere near to the Lord. How much would he be delighted, and how happy he supposed to be by sitting in a place so near to the beloved Saviour, after returning from the world beyond the grave! Well, rather he was not so happy for this returning, but certainly was delighted to seat beside the Lord. Then Mary who had succeed to buy, who knows with how much privations she paid it, a litre of very costly genuine spikenard ointment and anointed Lord's Feet, and as John writes, she wiped them with her hair. Matthew and Mark mentioned also about some other woman in the house of Simon the leprous, when that woman poured the aromatic oil in His Hair.

Always the woman, the eternal woman, the sentimental, the tender one, the one who is ready to treat kindly, to serve, to be sacrificed, to offer whatever treasure she has, even her soul! But beside this, what sadness, the "top classes" that rules in the church, doesn't allow the woman to get in the sanctuary of the church, just because she is a woman. But the Lord never said to her, don't come close to Me because you are a woman, or because you gave birth to a child, or because you are in monthly period. It seems that they want to "correct" the Lord, or because they remained stuck in the ancient taboo of the Levites, they ended up seeing the sanctuary of the temple, which actually is the human soul, as if it stands higher than the human or even higher than the Lord!

John writes that on the next day the great multitude that had come to the feast, when they heard the Lord was coming to Jerusalem, took branches of palm trees, and went out to meet Him. They put their cloths in the way to welcome the Great Bearer of Life; to welcome the King of kings and the Lord of the gentlemen. A few days ago, unknown how many days, He did the most shocking miracle, He raised Lazarus from the death, after four days dead. Hosanna, hosanna, blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord, the King of Israel. The Prophet Zacharias had prophesied this entering of the Lord on a donkey. Zacharias who lived about the same time of the Prophet Daniel wrote, rejoice greatly, o daughter of Zion, shout in triumph, o daughter of Jerusalem, behold your King is coming to you, He is just and endowed with salvation, Humble and mounted on a donkey.

The three writers of the Gospels wrote about this glorious entering of the Lord in Jerusalem, but there is a little "problem" with Matthew. Matthew writes, the disciples went and brought the donkey and the colt and laid on them (both) their garments, on which He sat. What did Matthew mean? Does he mean that the Lord sat on two donkeys? Not of course. He meant on their cloths, Lord sat on their cloths. But it was only Mathew who wrote about two donkeys! John writes, and Jesus finding a young donkey sat on it, as it is written, Fear not daughter of Zion. Lukas and Mark wrote also about a young donkey. Well, it seems that the Prophet Zacharias had written poetical, as it was custom at that time, so he wrote; He is humble and mounted on a donkey, (and) on a colt, the foal of a donkey. In another words Mathew used the same words of the Prophet, in which there was not the connection "and"., Obviously some mistake took place in translation. It doesn't seem to be any other explanation, while and the others wrote about one young donkey.

Let us watch some words of the Lord. He who loves his life loses it; and he who hates his life in this world will keep it to life eternal. If any one serves Me, let him follow Me; and where I Am there he will also be. For one to be a Christian presupposes to reject and hate the temporary materialist satisfactions of this world. If the soul of a Christian seeks the materialist satisfactions, as if he seeks to enjoy the food the drink and the unbridled sex, if he seeks to get wealth, fame glory, and is general good life, and therefore if he is indifferent about the poverty and the disappointment of the others, certainly this soul is guilty, except if he rejects all these goods of a barbarian world before is too late, and start serving and following the Lord. Whoever hates his soul, meaning whoever detests the passions and the endless wants, and says no to his soul, when is frugal, and deprive of, in order to give than to take, and to serve than to be served, and he does it with love and without ulterior motive, he is the one who hates his soul in the world. Because he is not seeking for the materialist satisfaction, and beside this, he doesn't even expect any returns. He doesn't expect to hear thanks, he is true and acting with love, and he considers that it is his duty to do all these things. Simply, he doesn't expect anything.

John writes, although the Lord was doing so many miracles, they didn't believe. The Prophet Isaiah had written; these people will keep listening but they will not perceive, and they will keep looking but they will not understand, their hearts became fat and insensitive, their ears dull and their eyes dim, for lest they see with their eyes, lest with their ears, so may not to understand with their hearts, and not to repent and be healed. Of course this doesn't mean at all that God made them deaf and blind, but the devil is the one that makes people deaf and blind, because of their corruption.

Always happen like this, the obedience to the spirit of the Devil drives people into the great corruption, and this is the one that makes someone unable to see and understand. With the word Darkness, I believe the Lord means the Devil, and that is why He says, walk while you have the Light so that Darkness may not overtake you, be not enslaved to the Devil. He who walks in the Darkness doesn't know where is going. Believe in the Light, so you may become children of the Light. Less someone walks in the darkness, better he can see the Light, and if he doesn't walk at all in the Darkness, then he becomes a child of the Light.

Lord said in the chapter 13, verse 10; he who has bathed needs only to wash his feet, but is completely clean. With these words, and with the feet that need washing, the Lord rather means, although someone may is washed spiritual, and may he is worthy in front of the Highest, but as long he walks among the world, some dirtiness and worthless things for God you may bear. With the words; truly I say to you, a slave is not greater than his master; neither one who is sent greater than the one who sent him. Lord means here, the slave and the master are equal in front of God. He also says, do not go over the limits because you are My apostles, but you must be humble and you must remember that you are the same equal in front of God as the slave is equal. If Me who I Am your Lord wash your feet, you also must do the same thing to the others regardless if they are slaves.

Let us see some of His words of chapter 16, verse 8, to 13. And He, (the Holy Spirit) when He comes, will convict the world concerning sin, and righteousness and judgment. Concerning sin because they do not believe in Me, (meaning, those who denied the Lord and did not believe in Him, their sins remain sins), and concerning righteousness, because I go to the Father, and you no longer behold Me. (The Holy Spirit will warn the world through the Apostles, saying that will come eternal justice, which will judge everyone. The Apostles will preach the Gospel, but the people will not see Him any longer, neither they will know when He will come). And concerning about judgment, because the ruler of this world has been judged. (The ruler of this world and as many unrepentant who obey to him have been judged.) When the Spirit of the truth comes, He will guide you into all the truth. (Meaning, He will remind you what I told you, and will make you understand My whole teaching.) For He will not speak on His own initiative, but whatever He hears, (whatever the Holy Spirit reveals is according to what the Father says), He will speak, and He will disclose to you what is to come.  In the verse 25 the Lord says, these things I have spoken to you in figurative language, an hour is coming, when I will speak no more to you in figurative language, but will tell you plainly of the Father.

(Meaning, until that time the Apostles didn't understand much, but while the Lord would go away, the Holy Spirit would enlighten them to comprehend all of His teaching.) Lord also said in the verses 26 and 27 of the 15th chapter. When the Holy Spirit comes, whom I will send to you from the Father, He will bear witnesses of Me, and you will bear witnesses also, because you have been with Me from the beginning. (So the Holy Spirit would bear witnesses, but they would also be His witnesses, the human witnesses, who would say to the world, what they saw with their eyes, and what they heard with their own ears.) Lord also said, if I had not come and spoken to them, they would not have sins! (The Lord does not play of course with the words, He means what He says. By knowing what is wrong, and if someone by knowing has break the law, this action is the one that constitutes a sin. The devil cannot accuse him who doesn't know, and doing the wrong in his ignorance. God never condemns him who is not responsible. For this reason, the one who lives in a Christian environment, and doesn't obey to the Lord, he is indeed deplorable, for the reason that there will be no way to be justified. It would be better if he lived together with the "primitives" of the Amazon.

John writes in the chapter 18 verse 10; Simon Peter having a sword, (rather it was a knife), he struck the high priest's slave, and cut off his right ear. His name was Malchus. Malchus was a slave of the high priest; he was a slave of Lord's crucifiers. He didn't hear nor understood so many years the teaching of the Lord. He remained slave in body and in soul. They cut off his ear, because the Lord applied first to the slave and to the last human, but Malchus had his ears in vain. He was deaf, because he was a true slave of the devil's servants, and that is why he didn't hear. Whatever has been said even by mistake, and whatever had happen in relation with the Lord, it passes some message, or it transfers some information, or there is purpose to teach something. Lord also said, put your knife in its case, because if you give knife, you will receive knife.

The chapter 20 speaks also about Thomas who didn't want to believe about Lord's Resurrection unless he would touch with his fingers the marks of wounds. Well, I don't think that the words of Thomas were indeed words of incredulity. Because he had seen so many miracles with his own eyes, and therefore he had no reason to see and believe. Certainly Thomas spoke like this, because he was in condition of great sadness, of disappointment, and confused.  As it is very obvious, a lot of negative things had been heard, and especially from the secretaries and Pharisees, who wanted not only to kill Him, but especially to crucify Him. Because as they thought, by doing so they would prove to the people that He was the "cursed" of God. The ancient writers had misinterpreted the writings and teachings of Moses, and under the state of the ignorance and misunderstanding, they wrote in the book of Deuteronomy, that he, who is hanged on a wood, is cursed by God. I refer to the subject Exodus. The cursed of God is the devil, but the Blessed of God is the cursed of the devil. And as the Lord said to Nicodemus, as Moses lifted up the snake in the wilderness, meaning he lifted up and burned the symbol of the devil, so the Son of man must also be lifted up. But those writers never understood what Moses did in the desert, they falsified his writings, and they ended up writings that he who been hanged on wood, guilty or innocent was cursed by God.

And of course all the Jews were obligated to accept whatever was written in the Bible as if they were the words of God and expressing His Will.  That is why Thomas had been somewhere shocked. So his words, which were the offspring of disappointment and confusion, were written in order to reveal and encourage the incredulous. Call the people and tell them, you, human, don't be disappointed, and don't say; it is too late for me because you didn't believe. Remember, not even Thomas believed, and he was asking for verifications. Peter also said that he would never deny the Lord, but somewhere he was frighten, he was afraid and in a time of great sadness and weakness he bended. But he returned and been saved. So have courage, and return to God, the Lord is waiting for you, and He will forgive you as the Lord forgave Thomas and Peter.

  Matthew

As I Believe.  The Blessings.  Let us see some parts from Matthew's Gospel. The first blessing is for the humble ones, who as usual, they have faith and sincerity to God. The poor in spirit are mostly those who have faith and they trust God. The have not many necessities and expectations, they don't search and sift to be sure about God, because they are sure and confirmed, and they close their ears and eyes in any lie that the devil with his servants could throw out against God. For example, a philosopher usually searches and analyses every detail in order to believe, and often he get lost in his researches, and as a result, instead to be rich in spirit, he proves that he is indeed poor. While the poor in spirit, often he is not interesting in researches in order to believe, he believes to God without researches, and although poor, he succeeds to prove that he is rich, because he succeeds to find the way to God much better than the rich philosopher. This is the poor in spirit, it is him who is humble and have faith to the Lord, and of course only to the Lord, because in relation with the faith to God, only Jesus Christ is the Truth, and no one else.

And of course among them, are also those people, who are the outcasts of the world. As for example the poor in knowledge and in education, who is an equal human soul and is worthy to inherit the Kingdom of God. But alas to the arrogant, to him who is proud by thinking that he knows a lot and undermine the other people. From this position he will be unable to understand, because the devil stands in this position, and as long he stands there he will be unable to comprehend God and get united with the Lord. So blessed are those who are poor in spirit! Blessed are the humbled, because only as humbled would inherit the Kingdom of God. It is much easier for a humbled to call Jesus his Lord and his Saviour, but how much it is easy for him who knows a lot, and stands in high social levels? How easy it is for a businesses man or for a scientist to come down to his knees in front of the Lord, to glorify Him, to beg Him, and call Him his Lord and his Saviour? His circle is very narrow towards the Lord and also very wide, which pushes him away, and so he get trapped in these conditions, and instead of glorifying and worshipping the Lord, he ends up refusing Him.

And not only he refuses the Lord, but also because the faith to the Lord is interpreted as public faith, he considers that this faith doesn't match with him, and so he ends up even to laugh when he hears about Lord's teaching. He thinks it is worthless for him to go down the "low levels" the "public levels" and pronounce Jesus his Lord and Saviour. So behold an additional reason, for which the Lord said, blessed are those who are poor in spirit, blessed are the humble ones, because those people find much easier the way that leads to the Lord. So the poor in spirit often can be proved as rich in spirit, and he who thinks that he is smart and rich in spirit, often can be proved that he is foolish and poor, because he didn't succeed to comprehend the Lord and be saved.

Blessed are those who mourn for the others, and those who suffer in the kingdom of the devil, because they will be comforted. Whoever has a good life, eats well, drinks, amuse himself and enjoy his life indifferent in what the other world is suffering, he cannot inherit the Kingdom of God. The true happy man is he who cannot be happy. The happiness causes guiltiness, because to be happy in a mountain of problems and sufferings that suffers a lot of people, that means indifferent and lack of love for the others. And as long someone behaves like that, he cannot be connected with God, he cannot be saved. In the kingdom of the devil prevail very sad conditions. Other people are starving without having a place in the sun, a lot of children are famished, and others have no idea what often they can do with their wealth, although they are trying to find other ways in order to increase their wealth. There is violence, corruption, injustice, official exploitation and despair. There is pain and diseases, problems and sufferings, there are blind and deaf, crippled, and a lot of people who get killed in the wars. And the worst of all, souls get trapped and lost in the confusion and sin. So who is the one who really love the others and indeed he can enjoy his life? So blessed are those who mourn, because they participate in the pain and in the suffering of the others. Because as long the devil rules, he causes only grief, and there is not much margin for laugh and enjoyment.

Blessed are the gentle for they shall inherit the earth. Not of course the materialist earth, but the spiritual one, which the Highest will create. Blessed are those who are starving and are thirsty for justice, for they will be satisfied. The absolute justice will prevail everywhere, and those who are indeed just will enjoy real justice. Blessed are those who are merciful, for they will receive mercy. The Lord did not mean exactly the charity that comes out of the mercy, but He means the help and solidarity that comes out of the love for the others. The Lord said, don't let your left hand know what the right one does. Meaning, help your fellow man with love and secretly, without undermine and humiliating him. When you make your help known, then you try to put your self in high position by humiliating the other.

Blessed are the peacemakers for they shall be called sons of God. The wars always start from the devil and from the human's cunning interests. He who resists for peace is a child of God, because he expresses the Will of God. If people were obedient to God, then they would never make war. Although they wrote that God told them to kill even babies and mothers! So everyone may know who was the one who told them such things. The Lord said; the wars should happen, meaning the wars are to be expected, because in the domination of the devil prevail terrible circumstances, which are distinguished by the hate and the cunning interests that lead to the wars. And also the domination of the devil must be crushed, and it will be crushed justly in its hate and by its destructiveness. God never judges any one unjustly.

Blessed are those who have been persecuted for the sake of righteousness, for theirs is the Kingdom of God. Blessed are you when others revile you and persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you on account of Me. Rejoice and be glad for your reward in heaven is great. Remember that they also persecute the prophets before you. You are the salt of the earth, but if the salt becomes tasteless, how it will be made salty again? You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. The Apostles were like the lighthouse and like the candle that lights in the darkness. Their personal life, together with their sacrifice had to be exemplary. Must shine and direct the other people, because the people would take paradigm from them.

Because, regardless if the Lord lived on earth with all the powers, meaning with all the disadvantages of the flesh, He is God, and everyone would say, He succeeded to beat the world and the flesh because He is God. So the Apostles as humans should beat the world and the flesh as well, so they may be light and example of the world. In general, the life of a Christian and especially of the priest must be bright for him and in order to be as an example. He is the light, because he says publicly that he serves the Lord, and so he cannot hide himself. That is why the Lord says, the city set on a hill cannot be hidden, nor do men light a lamp and put it under the peck-measure, but on the lamp-stand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. Let your light shine before men in such way that they may see your good works and glorify your Father who is in heaven.

Lord said; do not think that I came to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I did not come to abolish but to fulfil. For truly I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not the smallest letter or stroke shall pass away from the Law, until all is accomplished.  For I say to you that unless your righteousness surpasses that of the scribes and Pharisees, you shall not enter the Kingdom of the heaven.

How can we interpret these words of the Lord? On which law or laws did He mention about? Of course the Lord spoke about laws of Moses that were given to him by God. Those laws did not change not even in a letter, and regardless if people transgress, the laws will stay there until the end of the days. Now as for the others laws that had been written by the posterior state officials as divine laws, even those ones will stay there until the end of the days. But alas to those people who impose these laws, alas to him who constantly teach about them as if they are God's laws. Because they are barbarians' laws, have no relation with God at all, they are not matching with the teaching of the Lord, and of course He rejected them.

For example, the eye for an eye , or to hate your enemy, or to sell your daughter, or to cut the hand of the woman who tried to help her husband, and others are barbarians' laws, and of course it is impossible to express the Will of God. And although they are still there as they were written in the Bible, they should not be imposed in any way. And yes, we find Christians who insist that God gave all the laws of the Bible. So what do they say? Do they mean that God said, hate your enemy, asking for revenge, etc? And then the Lord says, you hear what the ancient people been told? If God gave these laws, then what the Lord would do? He would confirm them saying, you hear what laws God gave to the ancient people, but I say to you, that you must obey to what I say to you. And in another words, He would contradict God, meaning He would contradict Himself, and would say, listen, the laws I gave to the ancient people were not correct. So what do they say? Did perhaps God make a mistake, or perhaps is possible that the Almighty and Holy Creator would adapt Himself in the each time cunning interests of the state and of the rich rulers?

Lord also said, I didn't come to abolish but to fulfil. Meaning He didn't come to abolish the state and its laws, but to fulfil the Prophets and the laws of God. The state with its oppressing laws would continually to exist until the end of the days, and its laws would change and be adapted to each time historical and social circumstances. Lord didn't come at that time to abolish the state, and not yet, and while He didn't abolish it, He didn't abolish its laws too. But the Christian who learns about His teaching must be in position to distinguish which are or not the God's laws. He must fulfil God ?s laws, and also to obey to the state laws, but in those limits that are not in opposition with God's laws. When a state law is trying to abolish God's law, or if is in opposition, then the Christian should not obey on this state law.

As I Believe. Let us look closely some words of the Lord from chapter 7. What did He mean by the words of the verses 22 and 23? Is it possible for someone who prophesies and make miracles in the name of the Lord, that this man wouldn't have place close to Him? I don't think so, and certainly it was not what the Lord meant. God never makes mistakes, and if gives to someone the ability to prophesy and if make him worthy to do miracles, then certainly this man will stay faithful until the end. Otherwise, he wouldn't be able to make miracles, because God wouldn't give him this power. But what really happens is this; many unjust and corrupted people may have great positions in the church, and only they think, and yes they say that they prophesy, and only they say that they make miracles etc. As for example those unmistaken popes of the Middle Age, and of course not only of the Middle Age, That is why the Lord says, I never knew you, meaning, you say to the people that you know Me, and yes you have positions in My Church, but you are not mine, you never prophesied about Me, you never really served Me, and you never did miracles in My name. You are the one who say these things, not Me.

As I Believe.    Parts from chapter 8.  Lord says; Follow Me and let the dead to bury their own dead. Well, to go and bury my dead father, this doesn't stop me of course to believe and follow the Lord. But what the Lord meant is this; don't find various excuses for delays. Don't say, today I have some important thing to do, and don't say, the Lord can wait today because I am busy, I will follow Him tomorrow. The alive man decides and acts as long he is alive, and it means now, because maybe tomorrow will be too late. If you find excuses to delay the time of your salvation, because this kind of decision would load you with a lot of obligations, if you do that, then you may find your self among the dead. Because not only the tomorrow is unknown for you, but he who deny following the Lord today, he will also find some other excuse to delay even tomorrow. It is not so easy to follow the Lord.

It is not easy to follow the Lord through this earthly life in which a lot of temptations besiege us daily unmerciful. We need to reject a lot of pleasures, and He did as Human, while as God could have anything He wanted, although He had nothing in order to be an example!  That is why He says, the foxes have holes and the birds of the air have nests, but the Son of Man has nowhere to lay His Head. Beside this, he who delays his salvation for today, at least for today is dead, (dead, which, according to my understanding, means he/she is separated from God, and if he/she dies separated from God, not only will pass in crisis, but also will pass under the authority of the reptilian mind until pays off his/her debts to the devil and until be atoned, something which is unimagined terrible, while the reptile does not joke at all) and if before he is saved go to bury his father or anyone else, then it means that the living one is candidate dead who buries the other dead.

In relation with the demon-possessed, there is some discord between Matthew and Mark and Luke. Matthew writes about two men, but Mark and Luke about one. But it wouldn't make any difference if there were two or one. The important is that three of them mentioned the same story, but it seems rather clear that they were not eyewitnesses. It seems also that Matthew was not yet His disciple, he became after this story.

As I Believe.  Parts of chapter 9. Interpretation. In the verses 16 and 17 the Lord says; But no one puts a patch of unshrinking cloth on an old garment; for the patch pulls away from the garment and a worse tear results. Nor do men put new wine into old wineskins; otherwise the wineskins burst, and the wine pours out, and the wineskins are ruined; but they put new wine into fresh wineskins and both are preserved. And whoever drink the old wine, he doesn't like to drink the new one, because he will say, the old is better. So we see that the Lord contradicts by His way many writings of the Old Testament. He says, the new cloth tears, but it doesn't also match with old one. So if He put together His teaching with all the writings of the Old Testament, not only wouldn't match, but also the new cloth would be torn apart.

The old one is already torn, and what worsen could happen to it! His teaching would be the one to be torn apart because it doesn't agree nor match with the old one. By putting them together, then it would appear as He confirms all the old writings as correct, and something like this, would tear His teaching. So His teaching cannot be put in the old wineskins of the Old Testament, because yes, the Old Testament transfers messages of God through the inspired Prophets, but it also transfers and all those repulsive crimes, the unjust laws, the misunderstandings of the other writers etc. Those who want to drink they may drink its adulterated wine. The Lord never enforces any one to drink from His wine. But it is not possible to mix it up with old one.

As I Believe.  The three meters of flour. The Lord clarified the comparison of the sower. Then His disciples asked Him, why do You speak to them in parables? And Lord said to them, to you it has been granted to know the mysteries of the Kingdom of heaven, but to them it has not been granted. For whoever has, to him shall more be given, and he shall have an abundance; but whoever does not have, even what he has shall be taken away from him. The Lord repeated also the prophecy of Isaiah. You will keep on hearing but will not understand, and you will keep on seeing but will not perceive, for the heart of this people has become dull. And with their ears they scarcely hear, and they have closed their eyes, lest they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears and understand with their heart and turn again and I should heal them.

Well, of course, this doesn't mean at all, that God made them unable to hear and see. Those things that close the eyes and the understanding, and make some people unable to hear the holy teachings, are of course the known reasons, the cunning deeds, the unjust acts, the good and interests etc, which lead people into enslaving in passions, and therefore in the enslaving of the devil. These things are the ones that close the eyes and ears. The sins and passions are the ones, which often lead into impiousness, in the unfaithfulness and blindness, and of course, God never closes the eyes and ears of anyone. But by looking this factor from another side, when a man lives under these conditions and if he understands very well the holy teaching, and then he rejects Lord's teaching in his knowledge, and in another words if he knows very well what he says and does, then there is no way to be justified in front of the Highest. In this case, the devil has absolute claim on him. So if for someone there is no hope to come near to the Lord, then it is better for him when he doesn't understand.

His ignorance works as a protective shield, and of course, the Highest is the One who has the first and last word on the judgment of his soul. God, never ever will act unjustly not even on the littlest aspect. So by reading some difficult to understand words that may sound, as unjust words of the Lord shouldn't surprise us. The intention of the Highest is to save the human soul by any possible and justly way. Because in deed, for so much He loved the world, while not only allowed suffering and crucifixion for His Son, but also lifted up even the heaviness to appear in some cases as "unjust". The Lord wrongs Himself to justify and save His creatures. Glory to the Highest God, glory to our Saviour and Father.

Glory and love to Him who is sitting on the throne, because He lifted on His shoulders even our foolishness, even our inability to see and understand, so the Lord may have ways to justify with every possible and justly way him who under contrary circumstances was not expiated. It is very difficult to understand completely our beloved Father, the Omniscient Mind. Always we should remember, the Lord never ever would do something unjust. And if things look like that, then certainly must be some other explanation. For example, the devil and the unbridled interesting cause wars and sufferings, but some times, these sufferings and disasters atone somewhere various people, and also often make people to wake up and seek God.

Let us see the comparison with the darnels, and also the other comparisons in relation with the Kingdom of heaven. By the darnels, the Lord also says, in the creation exist the interpositions and the nature of the dragon. Whatever wrong exists in the creation, originated from the nature of the devil. And these are the darnels, which sprouted between the good seed of the Creator; this is sowing of the snake. So whoever is picking up darnels, he is picking up the elements of the devil, therefore he chooses the devil, and if someone makes the darnels his nature and passions, then he becomes an organ of the devil, and he also cultivates darnels.

The Kingdom of heaven is like also of a mustard-seed, which is very little, but when it sprouts becomes a so big vegetable while even the birds may nest in its branches. The mustard-seed is very small, but it is pure, it is true and un-contradicted. It hides in its little entire a code of life. The same also the Kingdom of heaven is pure, is true and un-contradicted. Started from very little element, so little and true seed, the first created seed, as little as the mustard-seed. Because both were created by the Highest Creator. But grew up so much while in the branches can find shelter, joy and happiness many and various birds. Meaning of course people from all the corners of the earth, from all the languages, all the tribes that have true and un-contradicted faith to the Highest Father. We don't measure the faith by the meter, nor weight by kilo, it doesn't have weight nor width, is true and uncontaminated, is un-contradicted, it hides in its entire a code of life, the same as the mustard-seed.

The Kingdom of heavens is also like leaven, which a woman took, and hid in three meters of flour until it was all leavened. By the words leaven and three meters of flour and refers to psalm 78 which says; I will open My Mouth in parable, I will utter dark saying of old, I believe that, beside the other secrets of the creation with the darnels, the nature and interpositions of the devil, the Lord spoke also about the long duration of the creation until the end. He also meant that in three thousand years after His Resurrection, the Kingdom of God will be completed and the long duration of the creation will be over. By the words leaven and three meters of flour, rather He means the beginning and the long period, in which all will be leavened, or swelled, meaning will be increased and be prepared the Kingdom of the Highest, will be increased and prepared which is hidden, meaning no one knows the exact duration of the preparation, nor when exactly will be completed, neither when will dominate everywhere. The leaven means the beginning, the preparation and the duration of the long journey until the complete domination. His complete domination is hidden in three meters of flour, meaning in three thousand years after His Resurrection.  I consider that the Resurrection of the Lord at the beginning of the third day passes also quota message.

As I Believe.  The Canaanite.  Let us see what the Lord meant, by saying to Canaanite woman, it is not good to take the children's bread and throw it to the dogs. Unfortunately, there are a lot of "peculiar" people around, who no more no less, they consider their dog or cat as if they were their children. They may are indifferent about the child of the next door, who is starving, but they feed their dog with the best meat of the market. And of course something like this is totally unacceptable. But there is something else. The Canaanites because of the hostile and arrogant behaviour of the Hebrews against them, and because of those paradox writings of the Bible, which undervalue the Canaanites, and presented them as corrupted and pagans and as enemies of God and of the Hebrews, the used to reject the entire writings, and therefore they rejected God.

The Hebrews, who were their enemies, used to claim God as their own. They consider for themselves as the chosen people of God and as higher-class races. Of course the Canaanites didn't consider something like that, but certainly the Jews were their enemies. And because of the circumstantial darkening of the time, they also consider that God was their enemy too, while even the slaughters of their ascenders happened according the Hebrews by God's "orders". Even in our days they say the same things, how much more at that time. That was the one side of the reality, for which very wrongly they thought that it was according the Will of God. Of course no one should accept the unjust and unreasonable as Will of God, regardless if it is written in the Bible or anywhere else.

But while even today there are some "wise" theologians and interpreters of the Bible who accept the crime and the illogical as the Word of God and yes they also preach about with so much irresponsibility, how much more would be at that time. So, because of the long time enmity that was between them, and because they thought that the God "of the Hebrews was unjust" for them, they didn't believe to God, and therefore they shouldn't ask for help. But that woman, although she was a Canaanite, she was real faithful, and the Lord used the words children and dogs, in order to teach that the children of the Canaanite woman, and general the people and their children come first. The children, regardless of their race, are always children. The children are not dogs and cats. No one has the right to underestimate them, regardless if they are the children of a Canaanite or of a Jew.

As I Believe.  Let us see the verse 28 of the chapter 16.  It is true, that at least some of the Apostles thought that the end of the world would come in their time. For this reason, they wrote some words relating with this issue, which were not exactly the words that the Lord said. For example, according to Matthew Lord said: truly I say to you, there are some of those who are standing here who shall not taste death until they see the Son of Man coming in His Kingdom. And in 17 verse 1, writes; and six days later Jesus took with Him Peter and James and John his brother and brought them up to a high mountain. Mark also wrote about the same. But Lukas writes.

But I tell you truly; there are some of those standing here who shall not taste death until they see the Kingdom of God. And some eight days after these sayings it came about that He took along Peter and John and James and went up to the mountain to pray.  Well, it doesn't make any difference if the one wrote about six days and the other about eight. But other meaning comes out of Matthew and other of Lukas, and of course the correct is the one of Lukas. Because it is clearly different for someone to see the Kingdom of God before he dies, and different to see the Son of Man coming in His Kingdom, which refers to the end of the world. Certainly the Lord meant that some of them would see the Kingdom of God before they die.

In some way, the three Apostles saw the Kingdom of God in the Transformation on that mountain. The first martyr Steven also saw the Kingdom of God before they stone him to death. He was looking up to heaven and was saying very delighted; I see the heavens opened, and I see the Lord sitting on His throne. And maybe some others saw the Kingdom of God before they die as well. John also when he was exiled in the Greek island Patmos, he wrote the book of Revelation, and he was one of those who were standing there. He saw the Kingdom of God before he dies. But they didn't see of course the Son of Man coming in His Kingdom. They didn't see the end of the world before their death.

The other question is, why did the Transformation occur, and why did the two Prophets appear! It is rather obvious that this happened for two reasons. The one was that the Apostles may see with their own eyes that the people live after the death of their materialist body. And also the appearance of Moses occurred exactly to contradict all those repulsive crimes, which had been attached to him, so it may take away every doubt of those people who really search for the truth. The other question is, how did the Apostles know that those Prophets were Moses and Elias? Well, in this case we understand that the Lord revealed within them quietly. Now, what the Prophets spoke about with the Lord is unknown. The Lord knew of course very well by what death He would lift on His Shoulders the sins of the world, and certainly was not a need for the Prophets to come and announce it. He knew it before was born as Human. But it was naturally for the Apostles as humans to suggest something by their own minds, when they didn't know, or because they wanted the end of the world to come in their time, they misinterpreted some words of the Lord. But the one Gospel completes the other and all together are currying in the world the happiest news ever told.

As I Believe. The rope and the needle.  And the young man said to Him, all these I have kept; what I am still lacking? And the Lord said to him, if you wish to be complete, go and sell your possessions and give to the poor, and you shall have treasure in heaven, and come, follow Me. But when the young man heard this statement, he went away grieved; for he was one who owned much property. And the Lord said to His disciples, truly I say to you, it is hard for a rich man to enter the Kingdom of heaven. And again I say to you, it is easier for a rope, (in Greek, camelus), to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the Kingdom of God. Matthew. 19: 20-24.  And the disciples were very astonished. It is very noticeable that they were astonished. Because as it is happening until our days, especially at that time, all those rich rulers, the snatchers of the perspiration of the people, the human-owners, were presented as if they were God's blessed people.

They were presented like Abraham who although he was a poor nomad, according to them he was also "rich and human-owner"! God they said makes the rich and the poor, God gave them wealth and slaves! I said already a lot about this issue, and there is no point to repeat the same things again. But as we realize, the Lord contradicted all these "misunderstandings" and He did it by His way! That is why His disciples were very astonished! Because those people used to say; we are the chosen ones, God gave us wealth, gold and silver and great properties; God gave us slaves, sheep cows and donkeys! Who would dare to tell them, no it was not God who gave you these things; you are exploiters and snatchers; that is why you have them.

Chapter 20.  For the kingdom of heaven is like a landowner who went out early in the morning to hire men to work in his vineyard. 2He agreed to pay them a denarius for the day and sent them into his vineyard.
3"About the third hour he went out and saw others standing in the marketplace doing nothing. 4He told them, "You also go and work in my vineyard, and I will pay you whatever is right." 5So they went.
6"He went out again about the sixth hour and the ninth hour and did the same thing. About the eleventh hour he went out and found still others standing around. He asked them, "Why have you been standing here all day long doing nothing?"
7" "Because no one has hired us," they answered.
"He said to them, "You also go and work in my vineyard."
8"When evening came, the owner of the vineyard said to his foreman, "Call the workers and pay them their wages, beginning with the last ones hired and going on to the first."
9"The workers who were hired about the eleventh hour came and each received a denarius. 10So when those came who were hired first, they expected to receive more. But each one of them also received a denarius. 11When they received it, they began to grumble against the landowner
. 12"These men who were hired last worked only one hour," they said, "and you have made them equal to us who have borne the burden of the work and the heat of the day."
13"But he answered one of them, "Friend, I am not being unfair to you. Didn"t you agree to work for a denarius? 14Take your pay and go. I want to give the man who was hired last the same as I gave you. 15Don"t I have the right to do what I want with my own money? Or are you envious because I am generous?"
16"So the last will be first, and the first will be last."

As I Believe.  The worker of the eleventh hour.  The last hour, is also he who just succeeded to get in the Ark of salvation and be saved. Sometimes it happens just some hours or minutes before he dies. And of course his wages is and should be the same as the others, who are not so much worthy workers. Because if someone is obsessive and demands more, because he thinks that he started earlier, and so he worked more, well, this kind of behaviour reveals that he also was one of the lasts who got in the Ark. And therefore he deserves to have the same thing as the last one has. He should be happy enough because of his salvation, and while he was saved, well that means, he should be also delighted because and the other was saved who came the last. His salvation, or his wages, presupposes love for the other, and if he is zealous instead of been delighted, it means he also came one of the last. And there is also something else. He who starts work at the last hour, and because he wasted his life in worthless things, and because he lost his time, he may be very enthusiastic and may be very disposed to work, and so he would produce much more than him who started working since the morning. So yes, the last would be first and the first would be last.

Part of Chapter 22. Jesus spoke to them again in parables, saying: 2"The kingdom of heaven is like a king who prepared a wedding banquet for his son. 3He sent his servants to those who had been invited to the banquet to tell them to come, but they refused to come.
4"Then he sent some more servants and said, "Tell those who have been invited that I have prepared my dinner: My oxen and fattened cattle have been butchered, and everything is ready. Come to the wedding banquet."
5"But they paid no attention and went off--one to his field, another to his business. 6The rest seized his servants, mistreated them and killed them. 7The king was enraged. He sent his army and destroyed those murderers and burned their city.
8"Then he said to his servants, "The wedding banquet is ready, but those I invited did not deserve to come. 9Go to the street corners and invite to the banquet anyone you find." 10So the servants went out into the streets and gathered all the people they could find, both good and bad, and the wedding hall was filled with guests.
11"But when the king came in to see the guests, he noticed a man there who was not wearing wedding clothes. 12"Friend," he asked, "how did you get in here without wedding clothes?"

As I Believe. (He was not wearing wedding cloths, meaning he was not worthy of the Son, because he didn't wash himself with the Blood of the Lamb so he couldn't participate in His wedding, in His Kingdom. This also means that all the poor people are not worthy to belong to the Kingdom of God, only because had been poor. Many are poor because of the circumstances, but if some of them could become rich, certainly their behaviour would be the same or even worst than the other ones.)

 The man was speechless.
13"Then the king told the attendants, "Tie him hand and foot, and throw him outside, into the darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth."
14"For many are invited, but few are chosen."

Paying Taxes to Caesar

15Then the Pharisees went out and laid plans to trap him in his words. 16They sent their disciples to him along with the Herodians. "Teacher," they said, "we know you are a man of integrity and that you teach the way of God in accordance with the truth. You aren"t swayed by men, because you pay no attention to who they are. 17Tell us then, what is your opinion? Is it right to pay taxes to Caesar or not?"
18But Jesus, knowing their evil intent, said, "You hypocrites, why are you trying to trap me? 19Show me the coin used for paying the tax." They brought him a denarius, 20and he asked them, "Whose portrait is this? And whose inscription?"
21"Caesar"s," they replied.
Then he said to them, "Give to Caesar what is Caesar"s, and to God what is God"s."
22When they heard this, they were amazed. So they left him and went away.

As I Believe. Give to Caesar what is Caesar's.  The Pharisees were trying by any possible way to ambush as they thought the Lord in order to "make" Him say something "illegal" so they may have allegations against Him. So they sent some of their disciples together with some other lawyers, who were in the service of Herod, who was also in his turn the eye and ear of Rome, and pretending as if they had good will, they asked the Lord to "inform" them if they should pay or not tax to Caesar. The cunning is of course indication of the civilized times. And of course the Romans had no trust at all on those people, who were capable to betray even their mothers in order to get what they wanted. That is why the Pharisees asked Herod to send there some witnesses who should be trusted to Romans. The Lord who knew of course their cunning intentions, said to them, you hypocrites, why are you trying to trap Me? Show Me the coin used for paying tax. He didn't ask of course in order to learn, but the question was a part of the answer. At the end Lord said to them, give to Caesar what is Caesar's and to God what is God's.

How can we interpret these words? Did the Lord really mean, that whatever the Caesar wants it belongs to him? Does God really approves or demands from the people to be submitted to the dictators, and tyrants? If for example a Caesar considers that you belong to him, if he considers that you are something like his private property, and demands from you to be obedient and worship him, would you do it? If he makes illegal to believe and worship God, would you obey to this kind of law? Not of course. Beside this, general the Caesars are like the intruders, and all those things they snatch by plundering and violence do not belong to him. And yes, one of them in Roman Empire, demanded from his attendants to give him the moon! But the Lord said, give to Caesar what is Caesar's. Give him whatever is belonging to him.

So what is belonging to Caesar? Whatever he wants, whatever he needs according the human necessities, or whatever the people accept that it belongs to Caesar? Did perhaps the Lord recognize glory, snatches and great life for the Caesar, and yes, when other people starve and die under the boot of Caesar? So the Caesar for a Christian should be nothing more than any other human. Whatever belongs to Caesar, the same thing belongs also to everyone else. Every one needs to eat, to cloth and in few words to satisfy his basic necessities. Whatever the child of the Caesar needs is the same of the worker too. And at least should be that way. Whatever must belong to the worker's child, the same must belong and to Caesar's. The law of God says, Lord your God you will worship only, and Him you will adore. So very clearly, the Lord said, it belongs to human whatever belongs to Caesar. It is not belong to him glory or worshipping, neither snatched wealth and plunders. But mostly it is not belong to him any human soul.

Chapter 23. Then Jesus said to the crowds and to his disciples: 2"The teachers of the law and the Pharisees sit in Moses" seat. 3So you must obey them and do everything they tell you. But do not do what they do, for they do not practice what they preach. 4They tie up heavy loads and put them on men"s shoulders, but they themselves are not willing to lift a finger to move them.
5"Everything they do is done for men to see: They make their phylacteries [1] wide and the tassels on their garments long; 6they love the place of honor at banquets and the most important seats in the synagogues; 7they love to be greeted in the marketplaces and to have men call them "Rabbi."
8"But you are not to be called "Rabbi," for you have only one Master and you are all brothers. 9And do not call anyone on earth "father," for you have one Father, and he is in heaven. 10Nor are you to be called "teacher," for you have one Teacher, the Christ.[2] 11The greatest among you will be your servant. 12For whoever exalts him will be humbled, and whoever humbles himself will be exalted.
13"Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You shut the kingdom of heaven in men"s faces. You yourselves do not enter, nor will you let those enter who are trying to.[3]
15"Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You travel over land and sea to win a single convert, and when he becomes one, you make him twice as much a son of hell as you are.
16"Woe to you, blind guides! You say, "If anyone swears by the temple, it means nothing; but if anyone swears by the gold of the temple, he is bound by his oath." 17You blind fools! Which is greater: the gold, or the temple that makes the gold sacred? 18You also say, "If anyone swears by the altar, it means nothing; but if anyone swears by the gift on it, he is bound by his oath." 19You blind men! Which is greater: the gift, or the altar that makes the gift sacred? 20Therefore, he who swears by the altar swears by it and by everything on it. 21And he who swears by the temple swears by it and by the one who dwells in it. 22And he who swears by heaven swears by God"s throne and by the one who sits on it.
23"Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You give a tenth of your spices--mint, dill and cummin. But you have neglected the more important matters of the law--justice, mercy and faithfulness. You should have practiced the latter, without neglecting the former. 24You blind guides! You strain out a gnat but
swallow a camel.
25"Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You clean the outside of the cup and dish, but inside they are full of greed and self-indulgence. 26Blind Pharisee! First clean the inside of the cup and dish, and then the outside also will be clean.
27"Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You are like whitewashed tombs, which looks beautiful on the outside but on the inside are full of dead men"s bones and everything unclean. 28In the same way, on the outside you appear to people as righteous but on the inside you are full of hypocrisy and wickedness.
29"Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You build tombs for the prophets and decorate the graves of the righteous. 30And you say, "If we had lived in the days of our forefathers, we would not have taken part with them in shedding the blood of the prophets." 31So you testify against yourselves that you are the descendants of those who murdered the prophets. 32Fill up, then, the measure of the sin of your forefathers!
33"You snakes! You brood of vipers! How will you escape being condemned to hell? 34Therefore I am sending you prophets and wise men and teachers. Some of them you will kill and crucify; others you will flog in your synagogues and pursue from town to town. 35And so upon you will come all the righteous blood that has been shed on earth, from the blood of righteous Abel to the blood of Zechariah son of Berechiah, whom you murdered between the temple and the altar. 36I tell you the truth; all this will come upon this generation.
37"O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, you who kill the prophets and stone those sent to you, how often I have longed to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, but you were not willing. 38Look, your house is left to you desolate. 39For I tell you, you will not see me again until you say, "Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord."[4] "

As I Believe.  Lord spoke to people and said: the scribes and the Pharisees have seated in the chair of Moses. So the Lord spoke about the chair of Moses, which means that they were teaching or they should teach the Law of Moses. Therefore the people should listen and obey to the laws but should not do the things as the scribes and Pharisees did. But those words, as, "do all they tell you", these words sound very strange. Because yes, Moses wrote and taught according the Will of God, but the posterior writers and state legislators added a lot of their own on top of Moses' laws, which of course are not matching with God, and the Lord rejected them by His teaching. For example, they wrote that it was God's law to love your neighbour and hate your enemy, or tooth for tooth and eye for an eye, etc. And there are more laws, which are not belonging to Moses, and they don't match with God.

The teaching of the Lord rejects all these things, while the scribes and Pharisees used to teach them as Moses' laws that were given to him by God. So how was it possible that the Lord would say, do all they tell you, when a lot of them were against His teaching? The scribes and Pharisees used to teach according the laws, and according some laws they should hate their enemies, they should take revenge, etc, while the Lord was teaching love for the enemy, to forgive etc. So the conclusion is, that the Lord didn't speak exactly like that, and rather Matthew didn't remember very well. But it seems, that even some mistaken words and phrases that the Gospel writers mentioned, pass unwilling some messages. And here the message, which applies to the posterior people after the Lord, and not on the Jews of that time, rather says, you should obey on those things they teach you in My name the bishops and priests, but if you see that they are corrupted, do not do the same things as they do.

But what the Lord really said, or at least what He meant was rather this; while those people sat on the chair of Moses the people should obey them, because they were the ones who taught the Law of God, and people should obey in what they been taught as God's law. But they should obey until that time. Certainly the Lord didn't mean that the people should continue to do whatever the Pharisees taught them. Because He had already started His teaching and was calling the people to follow Him and act according to His teaching, and not to act according the teaching of the hypocrite Pharisees. How was it possible to say, they should act according to scribes' teaching, as to hate the enemy, to stone the sinner, to demand eye for an eye or to judge someone who did something good on Saturday, and so many other ugly and unholy that they used to teach in their ignorance and in their hypocrisy as law and Will of God!

So without any doubt it was about mistaken words that Matthew used, but because these words were written in the Gospel as words of the Lord, they created a message which says, obey to the bishops but use your mind as well, and if they are corrupted do not copy their deeds. And as we notice, in the continuation the Lord speaks general about the scribes and Pharisees of every time, who often they like the fame, the first sits in the diners, they like the kissing in public areas, to kiss their hands, and very clearly they like to call them fathers and wise teachers. The Lord also applied to His disciples, and on the future bishops and priests, who would be really faithful and tells them, do not call yourselves teachers, but the greater of you, as the archbishop must be the servant of the others. And the Lord warns and says, whoever exalts himself shall be humbled, and whoever humbles himself shall be exalted.

The following words of the Lord from the verse 13 to 15, say a lot and apply to the scribes and Pharisees of every time. The same thing also applies for the words from 23 to 28 verses. But in general, He didn't apply only to those Pharisees, but to all of them until the end of the days. Let us see the words from 16 to 22.  Woe to you, blind guides, who say, whoever swears by the temple, that is nothing, but whoever swears by the gold of the temple, he is obligated. Here we should watch something very important. The Lord didn't say, that God sanctified the gold, but the temple sanctified it. Meaning no one sanctified it. What the Lord said here is this; you are hypocrites and avaricious, and because you are so, you consider that the gold stands higher than the temple. The same thing also about the altar and the gift, because something would come out of the gift, but from the altar what would come out? Nothing! It is not the altar that sanctifies the gift, because the altar was a lifeless object, and lifeless objects do not have holy power, and while God does not want gifts, of course the Lord does not sanctify them either. And the Lord makes things clear in here by saying, whoever swears on the altar, he swears only on the altar and whatever is on it.

Meaning, he does not swear to God, but he swears on a lifeless object made by man, and on a dead animal that is on it. He swears on something dead. Now whoever wants to believe and swear on dead animals and in lifeless objects, he can do it. He also who swears on the temple, swears only on the temple and on those who live in the temple. But does God perhaps live in the temple? Not of course. Because there is no temple and not any other materialist and lifeless building, that could be a proper place for God's house. People were those who thought that the temple is God's house, but God is Spirit, and His earthly house is the cleansed and holy human souls. This is the God's House on earth, and this House is the one that been devastated from the robbers and merchants, and often been converted into cavern of thieves. Meaning, that by trading and by making profits with what is related with the faith and the worshipping to God, they deceive and alienate the faithful people, so they end up in accepting and in consecrating the trading of the faith, and as a result they become depraved, and have unreasonable and unholy perceptions about God.

And he who swears to the heavens, he swears in the throne, and on Him who sits on the throne. So there is clear separation, because to swear on objects and dead animals is one thing, which is nothing, to swear on humans is another, and swear to God is also another. But Lord said, do not swear at all, but your yes should be yes and your no, should be no.

Chapter 25. At that time the kingdom of heaven will be like ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom. 2Five of them were foolish and five were wise. 3The foolish ones took their lamps but did not take any oil with them. 4The wise, however, took oil in jars along with their lamps. 5The bridegroom was a long time in coming, and they all became drowsy and fell asleep.
6"At midnight the cry rang out: "Here"s the bridegroom! Come out to meet him!"
7"Then all the virgins woke up and trimmed their lamps. 8The foolish ones said to the wise, "Give us some of your oil; our lamps are going out."
9" "No," they replied, "there may not be enough for both us and you. Instead, go to those who sell oil and buy some for yourselves."
10"But while they were on their way to buy the oil, the bridegroom arrived. The virgins who were ready went in with him to the wedding banquet. And the door was shut.
11"Later the others also came. "Sir! Sir!" they said. "Open the door for us!"
12"But he replied, "I tell you the truth, I don"t know you."
13"Therefore keep watch, because you do not know the day or the hour.

The Parable of the Talents

14"Again, it will be like a man going on a journey, who called his servants and entrusted his property to them. 15To one he gave five talents[1] of money, to another two talents, and to another one talent, each according to his ability. Then he went on his journey. 16The man who had received the five talents went at once and put his money to work and gained five more. 17So also, the one with the two talents gained two more. 18But the man who had received the one talent went off, dug a hole in the
ground and hid his master"s money.
19"After a long time the master of those servants returned and settled accounts with them. 20The man who had received the five talents brought the other five. "Master," he said, "you entrusted me with five talents. See, I have gained five more."
21"His master replied, "Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master"s happiness!"
22"The man with the two talents also came. "Master," he said, "you entrusted me with two talents; see, I have gained two more."
23"His master replied, "Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master"s happiness!"
24"Then the man who had received the one talent came. "Master," he said, "I knew that you are a hard man, harvesting where you have not sown and gathering where you have not scattered seed. 25So I was afraid and went out and hid your talent in the ground. See, here is what belongs to you."
26"His master replied, "You wicked, lazy servant! So you knew that I harvest where I have not sown and gather where I have not scattered seed? 27Well then, you should have put my money on deposit with the bankers, so that when I returned I would have received it back with interest.
28" "Take the talent from him and give it to the one who has the ten talents. 29For everyone who has will be given more, and he will have abundance. Whoever does not have, even what he has will be taken from him. 30And throw that worthless servant outside, into the darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth."

The Sheep and the Goats

31"
When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, he will sit on his throne in heavenly glory. 32All the nations will be gathered before him, and he will separate the people one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. 33He will put the sheep on his right and the goats on his left.
34"Then the King will say to those on his right, "Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world. 35For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, 36I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me."
37"Then the righteous will answer him, "Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? 38When did we see you a stranger
and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? 39When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?"
40"The King will reply, "I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me."
41"Then he will say to those on his left, "Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels. 42For I was hungry and you gave me nothing to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me nothing to drink, 43I was a stranger and you did not invite me in, I needed clothes and you did not clothe me, I was sick and in prison and you did not look after me."
44"They also will answer, "Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or needing clothes or sick or in prison, and did not help you?"
45"He will reply, "I tell you the truth, whatever you did not do for one of the least of these, you did not do for me."
46"Then they will go away to eternal punishment, but the righteous to eternal life."

As I Believe.   Here the lamp symbolizes the soul, and the oil symbolizes the preparation of the soul to meet the Bridegroom. The five prudent virgins were ready to meet the Bridegroom of their souls, but the other five, only said that they were ready, but they were not. It is a reference to those people, who yes they believe, but they say, well, let my soul enjoy whatever wishes, and it is not over, tomorrow or when I am old I will be prepared to meet God. When it was too late, the five foolish ones asked the others to lend them some oil, to lend them some preparation, but of course this is impossible. The preparation of the soul is strictly personal, and no one can offered it or lend it. And the Lord warns the people and says, be on the alert, which means be prepared because you don't know when the Son of man will come. Be ready because you don't know when you are going to leave this materialist world to meet the Lord.

The allegory with the slaves and talents is very easy. It tell us that the abilities are different between people, but what count most of all is the faith and obedience to God. For someone may have only one talent, but by making it worthy will be a winner, while if he is unfaithful and instead making it worthy he buries it, then of course he is unworthy to have it, and so it will be taken away from him, and while the talent is God's gift, it will be given to him who succeeded in making worthy the spiritual gifts of God more than all the others. Whoever has spiritual talents because he succeeded to make worthy those that were given to him, more he will get, but he who didn't succeeded to make even the one worthy because he was unfaithful, it will be taken away from him, because then he is not worthy to have God's gifts.

In the continuation, the Lord says, when the Son of man comes in His glory, all the nations will be gathered before Him; and He will separate them from one another as the shepherd separates the sheep from the goats.   Then the King will say to those on his right, "Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world. 35For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, 36I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me." 37"Then the righteous will answer him, "Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? 38When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? 39When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?" 40"The King will reply, "I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me."

These words of the Lord reveal a lot of things. We may say that He spoke literal. Yes, he who feeds the hungry, who clothes the naked etc, it is almost the same as giving to the Lord. That is because the Kingdom of the Highest didn't come yet, which means the devil is the one that rules, because people submitted to him. Therefore a lot of people are suffering and starving, and usually the people who suffer, they ask God to help them. But God will not come before it is His time; neither the Lord will break the natural and social rules and laws in order to help them. And repeating again, these people in their desperation, they ask help from God, they ask the Lord to give them food to eat and water to drink, they ask God to cloth them when they suffer in the frost. They ask for warm assistance in their sufferings and in their diseases. That is why, whoever offers food, help etc, to the person who need it, it is like giving it to the Lord.

To add something
According to Mark 15, 34 the Lord says while nailed to the cross.
My God My God why hast Thou forsaken Me?
Well What did He mean by these words? Did perhaps expressed complains to His Father? Not of course. Before the creation, and because of the existence of Darkness the Lord knew, had already planed that some day would come to the world as Human to save His creatures from the authority of the enemy. In order the scale of justice to turn on behalf of people, the Father and therefore the Son/Word had already plans to come to earth, to be crucified to crush the state of the enemy. Whatever the Lord does is under plan. He knew all He had to suffer detailed. So He had to say these words to express the complains of humans, beside referring to the psalm 22 of David.
A lot of people have been found themselves in similar position, and how many express complains to God? How many say, my God my God save me, my God I am suffering, my God my God, why did You forsaken me, why, what did I do to suffer so much?
As a God could make a miracle to take away the pains as He was nailed on cross. But in God any false has no existence. So He suffered as a common Human, and as a common Human who without receiving charity, and therefore forsaken from God, which means forsaken from Himself suffered as any other Human suffers who is at similar position.
My God My God why have You forsaken Me?
The Lord expresses people, who been at similar position, and justify them.
