phone, fax, post, E-mail or by personal visit to our showroom. If you are unable to speak to us
personally, please leave your name, contact details AND the purpose of your call. We will get back
to you as soon as possible.
If you want Audio Services and wish to communicate directly with our audio expert, please mark your enquiry 'ATTENTION ENGINEER' and leave your name, contact details and the nature of the job/service required, including the location and date of your function or the deadline you are working to.
If you want Bookshop Resources and wish to communicate directly with our bookshop manager, please mark your enquiry 'ATTENTION BOOKSHOP' with your name, contact details and the nature/description/title of the matter/service/item you wish to discuss or the deadline have to meet.
Unless you have an account with us, goods must be paid in advance or on pickup. Except for established customers, orders will not be processed or dispatched until payment has been received and validated
ORDERING- DESCRIBING THE ITEMS YOU WANT
When placing an order please must take all reasonable steps to communicate your needs so that there is no doubt about which products you want. Generally, only goods that were incorrectly dispatched by us are accepted for exchange or credit, so make several checks that you have submitted the correct description of the goods that you want.
BOOKS
To ensure that you get the right book (as some items have similar titles/authors to others), be sure to quote---
- the exact title
- the full name of the author (first name and last name)
as listed on this site. If you are wanting a product that is not listed, it is also very helpful if you quote the publisher and the date of publication. The more information you give, the quicker we can deal with the search and your order.
CASSETTES, TAPEPACKS & CDs
Essential detail to include in your order
is---
- the CODE No. of the tape, tape pack or CD, if cited in our product listing
- whether it is a "TAPE" or "CD" that you want ( it is not unusual for a customer to cite a CD code when he/she thought he was asking for a tape!!!
- the name of the speaker/performer
- the title of the tape, tapepack and/or CD.
The more information you provide, the more certain you can be that you will receive what you ordered.

| POSTAGE, PACKAGING & HANDLING FEES
GENERAL INFORMATION

|
Postage is based on Australia Post ECONOMY AIRMAIL rates which usually means delivery to anywhere in Australia within 5 days from date of dispatch: 2-3 days is most common, and even next day between suburbs or major cities. For overseas clients, SURFACE MAIL IS CHEAPER than in our schedules as listed below, BUT MUCH SLOWER.
If you want special delivery arrangements,
for example-
you may need to contact us to discuss the arrangement and to find out the extra costs involved.
Mail costs are very dependant on weight. If we only carried one type of product, eg. cassette tapes, it would be easy to draw up just one simple schedule of mailing costs. But, we carry 4 types of product---
cassette tapes,
tape packs that hold 3x, 4x, 5x, 6x, 8x or 12x cassettes,
CDs,
books and icon prints.
Any item of one category differs in size, weight and value to those in another. Even within a category (eg. tapepacks and books), items can differ. Hence, based on 20+ years of experience, we have set up several schedules that cater to the variety of orders that we receive. So, a client who orders tapes only (light parcel), is NOT paying as much as one who orders CDs only (medium parcel) or who orders books only (heavy parcel). The parcel of least accuracy is a mixed order of books, tapes, tapepacks and/or CDs, but we believe that our arrangement gives a fair deal to all parties. If you have any doubts about any aspect of package mailout, we are just a phone call away.

POLICY ON RETURNS
General
No responsibility will be accepted for return or replacement of any goods without prior authorisation from us. Returns should only be warranted if-
- the incorrect item(s) have been sent;
- the item(s) have faults or
- the item(s) have suffered damage in transit.
In other words, if there is no fault/damage to the item(s) and we have satisfied the order as communicated to us by the customer, then we do not accept that the error lies with us and there is no obligation on us to exchange the goods or refund any payment except, perhaps, as a good will gesture. However, we will consider all requests (see below- 'Customer Error or Change of Mind').
All items dispatched to customers come straight off the shelf in excellent condition and are packaged to resist impact and vibration damage through the mail handling and transport systems. So, a customer should receive the item in new condition. However, we cannot guarantee that accidents will not happen in transit, and that no unusual forces are brought to bear that may damage the goods. It is very rare that a customer has complained to us about goods reaching them in poor condition. Australia Post takes such complaints very seriously and usually conducts an investigation.
All returns must reach us in mint, undamaged, unsoiled and resaleable condition. We feel that the customer has as much responsibility for the condition of returned goods as we have in shipping him/her the goods in the first place. We will NOT accept returns that display fingermarks, stains/soiling, cuts/tears/scratches, crushing or any other markings/signs that makes them unsaleable.
If the Error is Ours
Should you, the customer, have sent us adequate description of the goods you want in accordance with the descriptors given to the item(s) in this website, and you receive any incorrect or faulty items, then you should be entitled to an exchange or credit at no extra cost to yourself. The steps we require you to take are as follows-
- Carefully check your record of your order against the receipt that we sent with the goods;
- Contact us immediately you notice the error (for Australian customers no more than 10 days from the date of dispatch as printed on the receipt that we sent with the goods).
- If your claim is valid, we will give you a RETURN AUTHORISATION NUMBER (RAN);
- Write the RAN on the back of the original receipt that accompanied the goods- keep copies for yourself as a check;
- Package up the incorrect item(s) with the receipt so that they will reach us in mint/undamaged/unsoiled/resaleable condition;
- Post back to us NOTE: the choice of mailing is up to you but we we normally only compensate you for surface mail costs.
As soon as we receive the item for replacement, and assuming all is in order, we will return mail the correct replacement to you with a notification of credit, for your mail costs, against future orders.
Customer Error or Change of Mind
Should you, the customer,
- have sent a vague or incorrect description of the goods so that we misunderstood your order OR
- changed you mind about wanting the item you ordered,
then there is no obligation on us to exchange. Where we agree to such exchange, ALL costs to be met by the customer are as follows--
- all mailing costs,
- a restocking fee of 20% of the value of the item(s) being returned AND
- any difference in the price of the item(s) you want compared to the items being returned.
The steps we require you to take are as follows-
- Carefully check your record of your order against the receipt that we sent with the goods;
- Contact us within 10 days of our date of dispatch (for Australian clients) or within 3 days of receiving goods (Overseas clients).
- If we come to agreement and you are willing to meet the cost, we will give you a RETURN AUTHORISATION NUMBER (RAN);
- Write the RAN on the back of the original receipt that accompanied the goods- keep copies for yourself as a check;
- Package item(s) so that they reach us in undamaged/resaleable condition including the payment and receipt in an accompanying envelope;
- Seal the package and post back to us NOTE: Surface mail should be adequate unless urgency is an issue.
- When we have received goods and payment, we will dispatch the goods that you requested.
REMEMBER: All returns must reach us in RESALEABLE condition. We will NOT accept returns that display fingermarks, stains/soiling, cuts/tears/scratches, crushing or any other markings/signs that makes them look used, abused and therefore, unsaleable.
