Andrew Jones: Lead Vocals & Guitar

Andrew became involved in music at an early age, singing in various groups & as a soloist. In 1989 Andrew joined Newcastle band 'Souled Out' as the lead vocalist & through the seven years he was with the band they supported such artists as Phil Emmanual, Jack Jones & Marcia Hines. Andrew has performed in pubs & clubs throughout NSW & Melbourne as well as other venues including Australia's Wonderland. A highlight of Andrews career was his selection for the lead role of Jesus in Novocastrian Production's Jesus Christ Superstar. Since then Andrew has played other lead roles in productions in this theatre. As a "front man", Andrew definitely suits the part...providing humour & entertainment for the audience

Ben Pettett: Lead Guitar & Vocals

Ben was roped into music by his mother & it's a good thing she did. Since then Ben has made music his life. He has studied piano for 12 years & guitar for 7. Ben has also been playing tuba & drums/percussion in brass bands & theatre for 7 years. Ben is very aware of the music industry after his work in retail music & through this, getting to know many musicians in the industry. Ben has played in a variety of groups as a keyboard player & guitarist. He occasionally works with Nelson Bay known band 'Wide Load', who provide rock n roll for many functions at The Anchorage Resort at Salamander Bay. Ben has also worked as a solo pianist at The Caves Hotel Restaurant. With such experience, Ben has a whole lot of confidence & enjoys working with people

Chris King: Keyboards & Vocals

Chris is a classically trained pianist who has been playing for 16 years. Chris has played in 4 bands over the past 6 years & was accepted into the Australian Institute of Music for arranging & composing. Chris has been professionally playing in theatres for the last 6 years & has been the musical director for shows such as Godspell, West Side Story & Blood Brothers. Chris produces sequences to people of the public, along with arrangements & backing tapes. This gives 'Scribble' a fantastic backing with that live full...but not TOO full feel!!!
