Now the main vegetable garden is well established, a vibrant ecosystem is happening in my backyard. Not bad at all for the inner-city.

All sorts of animals visit, or live in my garden. Some are pests (e.g. possums, cats), some are predators. They all leave wastes that add nutrients for the plants.

My favorites are a family of Magpies that visit in August and September. They have a beautiful song.
