This web site is just one of my activities, and documents some of them.

The aim is to be informative and entertaining. A secondary aim is to provide yet more Australian content on the internet.

The music and gardening pages have had the most work. That's where most of the pictures and sounds are. (Thanks for the photos Joe.)

Work began in August 1996, originally hand coded into HTML on my old Atari STFM computer for your enjoyment. It looked ok on the very small screens of the day.

Since 1997 I've been using an Apple Macintosh. My first was an old Performa 6360. Then in 2005 I got a nice iMac G5 2GHz 17" machine. That was replaced in mid 2010 with a smokin' hot iMac Core 2 Duo 21".

The site was first hosted in early 1997-2003 from my old ISP. From March 2004 the newest updates are hosted at: members.optusnet.com.au/~toxicoh/index.htm. (Please update your links!)

I still support the Any Browser and Bandwidth Conservation Society campaigns and try to let iCab smile on each page. The code here has been optimised for quick loading at any screen resolution, and for cross-platform compatibility. It's mostly HTML4, but now close to XML.

I want to help the large population still using old computers, slow modems, non-standard browsers, and text only viewing (for whatever reason e.g.: Third World conditions, visual problems, curiousity, no broadband, etc).

You won't find any ugly frames, huge backgrounds, javascript, cookies, etc. here!

Some pages are best viewed at 800x600 screen resolution, or higher.

The music files are all now in "good quality" MP3 format. If you want better quality, you'll have to pay....
