                1. All entered CD releases must be less than 2 years old at the time of receipt by TIARA.

               2. Entered recordings must be (a) by independent artists 18 yrs and over,

                                                                         (b) totally self – funded.

              3. CD's must be a commercial release of not less than 500 copies.

4. Only one entry fee is required per entrant. You may only enter a category once.

5.The same song may be used in more than one category.

6. Only 1 CD needs to be sent if it contains all the entered tracks.

7. No cassettes please.

8. An entry fee of $20.00 is required for each entrant. A fee of $5.00 for each additional category is also required.

9. Please include a biography and photo if you are a first time entrant.

10. Top 5 (five) finalists in each category will be notified by mail.

11. Winners are to perform on the awards night.

12. Winners must use the backing band provided on the awards night.

13. Winners may be asked to perform in the ‘Hats off Festival’ in following July of the same year.

14. Finalists are expected to attend the awards night.

(Winners will not be notified prior to the awards night).

15. Entrants in the Duo section must be a full time working act.
