About Us

Believe it or not I had absolutely no interest in sewing when growing up, my effort at school consisted of an unfinished T-shirt in 8th form (shows my age doesn't it).

My 'calling' came after my husband and I sold our motel in the Hunter Valley and moved back to Sydney.  My mother Grace and I bought a patchwork shop in the Hills District and there my passion was born.

I became interested in designing my own quilts after a few years and began to teach classes.  I taught for many years not only in my own shop but had the pleasure to teach for other patchwork stores .

After quite a few years I felt my life needed a new challenge and thought that a quilting machine would be just the thing to inspire me all over again.

My new business venture began in 2004 and now I have the joy of seeing many beautiful quilt tops that I can say I had a small part in turning into someone's treasure.
