The star of last year's Walkamin
festival talent quest was sixteen
year old Kimberly
Bowden of Tully who won the
Telstra Road to Tamworth competition,
the Friday night non country prize
of recording time, and numerous category
awards. Last year's Telstra winner
Shandell Tosoni,
returned from Brisbane for the Saturday
concert.

Country Music Festival will

the Yungaburra
Folk Festival October 27, 28,
and 29. Local, interstate and often
international musicians will perform
and give workshops. Participation
