Southern France - July 19
A photograph taken in Paris seems to indicate that
a man named Lomax, who was believed to be dead, is still
very much alive. The photographer, Barjou, sees an opportunity
to make money by passing on the information to Lomax's
former partner, Harlan, knowing that he will be interested.
Harlan has every reason to hate Lomax, as he believes
that it was he who killed his brother. Barjou claims
that Lomax is now living under the name of Stanley Reeves,
and Harlan wastes no time in having him murdered; shot
once in his home and again in the mortuary. But why
twice? Jason and Co. are interesed to find out!
