The
classic comedy mask is often regarded as on of the theatre's
more macabre jokes-and it is a macabre joke indeed when
an intruder skilfully breaks into the well-guarded Riviera
villa of millionaire Kolliatis and places a skin mask
over his face while he is sleeping. When he awakes and
sees himself in the mirror, Kolliatis dies of heart
failure. The intruder is, in fact, a young man by the
name of Gerhard, whose future activities become the
considerable concern of Department S when asked to investigate
the tycoons strange death.
