After suffering a major brain haemorrhage, Foreign
Office minister, Peroguine Haslette-Wood is admitted
to hospital for emergency surgery, but officials are
shocked to discover that a top neuro-surgeon had been
replaced midway through the procedure by an unknown,
but highly-skilled intruder. When Department S arrive
on the scene, Jason is convinced by an old school chum
that he had once met the patient in Istanbul whilst
researching a Mark Caine novel, yet Annabelle's records
argue that the Minister has never visited the city!
