The Creation Of Man
As
I believe! Obviously,
the inspired by God Moses mentioning to the First Created, he used both literal
and allegorical language! At chapter 1:27, 28, the literal one says the very
simple and self-understood; God created male and female and blessed them! God
created literal man and woman at the same time! This is the literal and simple
language! The allegorical one says
a lot symbolical and indirectly! First, God created the human
according to Our image, and according to Our likeness! Very complicated issue,
that means a lot!
The verse 7 of chapter 2,
referring by emphasis to the material body, as inevitable mortal one, writes, the Lord
God formed man of the dust from the ground! He created the "body of dust"
from the ground, which means, this body of dust came from earth
and so it returns to the earth!
Well, even by the first verses of the Bible, before mentioning at all about
the names Adam and Eve, and before their supposed disobedience, (of course there
is personal sin and disobedience that separates people from God), the divine
message reveals, the materialist body was mortal from the beginning of
the creation! The earth returns to the earth, the divine spirit returns to
God! So, simply, there is not immortality for the material body! Never ever was!
The verses 18 and 21, referring to the woman as partner of man,
and inversely, said! God said,
it is no good for the man to be alone! The verse 21 also writes; so the Lord God
caused a deep sleep to fall upon the man, and then took one of his sides to
create the woman! So we have literal and allegorical language at the same time!
As usual!
Certainly, there were similar
theories or traditional public perceptions among various people, declaring how the gods created
the first people, while they reflect
various social
circumstances of the ancient world. And certainly the holy inspired Prophet
used some of them, and modified them, in
order to pass various divine messages. The first created, man and woman, are a complex
of symbols. It is rather certain that the name Adam, for the Hebrews meant the
Human, but for the earlier people meant the
Soil-man. Eve meant Life, or
Soul, or by this name, rather meant the spirit of the first mother of man.
Eve= the spirit of the first mother.
As it is known, primitive tribes worshiped the spirits of
fathers and mothers. So without any
doubt, the inspired Prophet used these names for various symbolic meanings.
But of course, if the first created
had names, something rather unlikely, while they did not speak any
language, then certainly would
not be Adam and Eve.
These names, and especially the names of their children, reflect
much later social progress related to various
circumstances far away from the first created, and therefore
unrelated to them. To make it clearer, we talk about the first people, the first man
and woman and their unknown children who lived hundreds of thousands of years ago, in conditions before of
any language, civilisation, perceptions or knowledge exist, thought these traditional names,
as Adam=human or Soil-man, Eve=Soul or Life, or Seth=state-official etc, reflect
exactly circumstances that presuppose language, and also some level of civilisation,
governments, kings etc, and so the origin of the tradition could not be the one
of first created! Yes these names were traditional, but the origin of them
was many thousands of years
after the first created.
And Moses used these
traditional names as symbols, to speak an allegoric language. As we will see at the chapter 4 that writes literal
about the children of Adam, there was a story of a well-known family that lived
before Abraham. Obviously, the names of the father and mother were Adam and Eve,
and as usual, the names were traditional ones. Moses used them for many symbolic messages, while the one means Soil-man earthly-man and the other Soul
devine Spirit, and by using more other traditions, he
formatted the symbolic story
of the creation of human.
Let see then,
according to my understanding,
how can we interpret as symbols of the first created, and what divine messages
might pass.
First they were humans, meaning, the names Adam and Eve symbolize the first
humans. So obviously they pass a message of the Lord that says; the human was
created in the “6th day”. And as we observe, the message speaks
clearly about humans, not about of some kind of monkeys!
Therefore the message says, the human was created
by the currency given anatomic and morphological
structure. Obviously, God,
Who knew of course about the confusion of the last and very
developed centuries, (obviously this message, and others related to the same
issue as well, applies only to our time!) passes His message through His Prophet, telling
us the
human was created as human, not as a kind of monkey that evolved into human.
If man
evolved from some kind of monkey, then under God’s plans, there
would be
some related tradition, or Moses who wrote under divine guidance would write some
related words, to express it and pass the correct message. But as we see now,
God’s message is, the human was created as human, not as some kind of monkey
that was evolved into human. Though, there is some kind of equivocal written
words, which we will see them in the subject, the Wood of Life.
It is
very reasonable to accept, that under God’s plan, and in the passing of billions
of years, there was some partial evolution on other kinds of life, but
it seems there was not at least any anatomic and
morphological evolution for the human. Certainly there was adaptation of the
various climatic circumstances, and in conditions of way of living, and this is
beyond of any doubt. As it is easy to realize, the main intention of the
creation of the earth was the humans. God created the earth mostly for the
human, and this was the main reason, that for many millions of years had to
continue a very long recreation of the earth, until it becomes a suitable place
for the creation of human. It was absolute necessity, especially for the
historic period, and the big increase of the population, to
form the
oceans, mountains, seas, lakes, rivers, and the proper ecologic system,
etc, and there were other
reasons as well, which we only suspect. Personal, I believe there was a long
continuously and terrible war of billions of years between the Spirit of Good
and the spirit of Evil, until the great reptile be enforced to retreat, so some
kind of balance prevail.
So, the name Adam, which was a traditional one and was also the name of a family
man or tribal leader as well, used by the inspired Moses for allegorical
importances. By this name, except that passes the message that human was created
as human, Adam consitutes other symbols as well. The name Adam, by the meaning
materialist body (soil-man) symbolizes the body of every human, man or woman.
Adam is also symbol of the male human, it symbolizes the man, and Adam is also
the symbol of the man by the general meaning. So Adam=human
is the symbol of human, while he was first created,
he is also the symbol of human’s body, the symbol of male, and the symbol of the
father, because he was the first father. By all these meanings, he is general
the symbol of man. We are all children of man, and so we are children of the
symbolic Adam. He also represents the human of the pre-historic era.
The "age" of Adam
(930 years) is not of course the age of the first man. No one could know how
long he lived. If God would reveal how long the first man lived, then certainly
God would reveal how long his wife lived as well. This "age" is the code of
pre-historic human’s era. Eve is the symbol of the soul, man or woman; she is
also the symbol of the woman, and the symbol of the first mother. Let us see
closely the writings. For example, one tradition used to say; “the gods
(or the unknown God) created
man in their own image, and male and female created them”. And the other said,
gods created the man first, but after they realized it was no good for the man to be alone, and
after they created the woman. And Moses added allegorical, God put the man to
sleep, and while (allegorical) took one of his sides, created the woman.
So as
it is very obvious, these words are modified public beliefs, in order to
broadcast various messages of the Lord. If we accept them as literal, then of
course there is a contradiction. Not only the one story contradicts the other,
but also, this prospect doesn’t stand at all. Is it possible to be true, that
the Omniscient Creator created first the man, and then the Lord said; O’ I made
a mistake, it is not good for the man to be alone, let put him now to sleep, and
take one of his sides, and create the woman. So very clearly, it was about
public beliefs and traditions that were modified in order to speak allegorical language. The
divine message of the first modified belief is; God created man and woman,
(humans) and joined them together to reproduce the kind, as the Lord did with
the other kind of life. The second reflects the circumstances, in which the
woman was degraded, and therefore they used to load all their misfortunes on the
shoulders of the poor woman. She was the guilty one for everything wrong!!
Moses modified and this
tradition or the public perceptions, to pass more complicated messages of God.
The one symbol Adam symbolizes the materialist body of every human, and the one
symbol Eve symbolizes the soul of every human, and together constitutes the same
human. Adam as body is a part of Eve, and Eve as a soul is a part of Adam. The
one message says, God created the human by soil, meaning created first the
materialist body, and then Lord in His holy way blew to him breath of immortal
spirit, blew to the human, his and her, immortal soul. God gave to the human
Eve, who is his or her soul.
Now Adam is also the
symbol of man, of the first man and every man, and Eve is the symbol of woman,
the first woman, and every woman. The other message says, God created the first
two people, male and female, and joined together with the love and sexual
pleasure. God joined them as one body, and yes, the real love and the sex join
the couple as one body. God created male for the female, and female for the
male. So the words of the verses 21 until 24 have a lot of meanings. The first
says, God created first the human body and gave him/her the soul, and also created
man and woman and joined them as one body.
Allegorical, God took one side from Adam to create the woman,
therefore, the woman must stand at the side of her husband. But while the
woman is (allegorical) side of her husband, then the man must also stand always
in the side of his wife, because the woman is his side. Both are equal, because
allegorical, the woman is a side of the man; she is not his foot nor his head. God "didn’t take"
from his foot or his head
to create the woman, and therefore the woman is not his foot, nor his head, and
the same thing applies and for the man.
The man
has his own head and feet, and the woman also has her own head and feet, both
can walk and think freely, but when they get marry
come close to one another, they come close as
souls and bodies, they love one another, and join together as sides, namely as
equal humans. The one belongs equal to the other and become one body, without to
be head or feet, neither for the one to be under the other’s feet. The woman is
not a footstool of the man, or the other way around. So yes, the woman was
created for the man, but exactly the same, the man was created for the woman
too.
The one belongs to the other, and of course, without the one,
it would be
impossible for the other to exist. The bodily supremacy of the man, by which
would oppress his wife, or the bodily weakness of the woman, which would
be converted into evil power
to control her husband, belong to the barbarity and selfishness, this kind of
behaviour, do not join them as one body. But when truly love
one another, then they become one body, and while they are one body,
then where is the inequality? When they siphon love from God, they become one
body, and therefore become equal, and if there is no love, then they become
according the circumstances equal or unequal. But only the first matches with
God, and never the second. Then, did God depreciate the woman?
Not of
course. God never ever did the unjust,
never ever
depreciate the woman, the historical circumstances, the lack of love, and the
barbarity depreciated her. The master man did it, and he was also the victim of
the circumstances. Because if someone depreciates his wife, he also depreciates
himself, while under circumstances of oppression, in which there is no freedom
and really friendly relation, then misery prevails, no
love no joy no real happiness.
The social
perceptions and the circumstances consecrated the depreciation, and
under these conditions people said,
well, this is
the will of the gods!! But
the holy inspired Moses modified these false beliefs
to speak allegorical language. The side of Adam, which God “took”, to create the
woman, was certainly Moses holy allegory. We also realize, that in those
barbarian conditions prevailed for too many centuries, and yet do, the depreciation of
the woman, while bodily was weak, it was not only inevitable, but also it was
somewhere necessary.
And rather that is why the Prophet didn’t write clearly, it was not God’s
Will. What would the poor woman do in barbarian conditions, which of course did
not stop to exist until our days? Her husband very often was not her beloved
partner of her life, he was her master and often a barbarian tyrant, and even
now, often he is the same master and the same barbarian tyrant, and yet he says
by audacity, this
is God’s Will! But if he were a human of love and compassion, then would know
what is really God’s Will. What a shame!
The woman,
as it is known, was also a substance of
trade. Yes it is true, they used to sale and buy women, like slaves and animals, and
those who were virgins, were more expensive.
Read if you
want some of the savage and barbarity of the Bible related with the depreciation
of the woman that is presented as God's Word and Will. The holy Prophet Moses
has nothing to do with all this abomination. Read: Exod. 21:7,11, Exod. 22:16,17
Lev.15:19 Lev.27:2,7. Deut. 22:13,21 Deut. 22:23,24 Deut. 22:28,29, Deut. 25:11,
etc..
It should be at least shame to any people, religious or not, priests or
not, Christians or not, of any other religion or not, who continually accept
this barbarity as His Word, and continually believe that she is not equal as the
man, and continually depreciate her, beating her, covering her, and again, what
an absurdity, they believe this great lie as true, they accept that the
abomination the savage and nonsense is God's will!!! Unbelievable!
Lord Christ
confirmed His Will by His love that makes all people equal.
Love is the one that makes a human, human, and makes all people equal, and the
perfect Love is God's Will, while it is God's Holy component.
