The Tower of Babel
As
I believe! The Tower of Babel is also an allegorical
story. It is a reference to the great problem of confusion, the Tower of
Confusion. A number of people came from areas of east, and found a plain in
the land of Shinar, and settled there. They said to one another, come let us
make bricks and burn them thoroughly. So they used brick for stone, and tar for
mortal. And they said, let us build for ourselves a city, and a tower whose top
reach into heaven. But the tower ended up into Babel. Well,
they used brick for
stone to reach the heaven!
Obviously, this
symbolic brick-tower
of
Moses was
very narrow related with the gods (not directly with
God, the Creator), who gave and perplexed the languages! The tribes
spoke of course various languages, and every one claimed very correctly that their language was the one of their old fathers and
tribal leaders. And because those fathers and leaders were their gods, prevailed the prospect, that the gods were those who gave and
perplexed the languages.
Beside the
languages that also
cause confusion,
the Tower of Babel of course always existed in history and exists. No doubt
about that! It exists everywhere, here, there, around, in people who know too
much, a lot, but they don't know if God exists! It exists in philosophies,
politics, in knowledge and ignorance, in the researches for truth, in religions,
churches too. Yes, in the churches as well, because those people, or at least
most of them preach a lot of illogical/paradoxes and
misbeliefs as the Word of God!
They believe that God really smashed the tower literal
punishing some foolish people of the time, who in our time would need
psychiatric help. Simply, let them do it, let them build as
much they can to vast space; soon they will be disappointed! Why
would God punish thoughtless people who wanted to reach
the "roof" of the earth!
Let them be punished by their own deeds, by trying to
reach the roof! Nevertheless, they would be very disappointed!
Well,
obviously, the symbolic tower of
Moses speaks not exactly about a building, but speaks loudly about confusion and enlightenment for the exact reason that people, not only built,
but persistently are building the tower of confusion, of darkening and false
superiority. The symbolic language says, the people
who came from east were trying to build a tower to reach the heaven, but didn't
use stone to build it. Of course it was time, when Egypt and other countries
used bricks. But Moses was
not a historian, he was a Prophet, and wrote under divine inspiration.
Obviously, the Tower
of Babel is a symbolic story, (regardless if literal
there was a building as well) it constitutes symbol of the world's confusion, it warns every time and mainly
our time.
They came from the east, which rather means they pretended as smart,
and found a plain at land of Shinar. The plain rather means,
they descended too low, they were over the limit self-believers and
corrupted. They didn't use stone, but bricks, meaning they were trying to reach heavens by their own methods,
without faith to God. Stone symbolizes faith. For example, the Lord said to
Peter to whom the name was
Simon; Your name will be Peter, it comes from the Greek language which means stone (Petra), and
so Lord Jesus said, on stone, on the faith I will
build My church. Our Lord's temple on earth is not of course the buildings, but
the people who have faith to Him. This is the temple/church, it is the people
who have faith. So the Lord said, I
will build My church on the stone,
on people's faith.
Faith to God,
or unfaithfulness, is somewhere I would say, unspeakable power of soul, and
corresponding weakness, which the positive in faith soul feels His Presence and
get vivified by God, elevated by God, while the negative in unfaithfulness of soul,
constitute the opposite. But of course, the faith is not based in direct proofs,
or rather it is not based in experimental proofs. Simply, when we have these kind
of proofs, then no longer we need to believe. However our communication with God
is a spiritual one, so the spiritual communication is not subjected to
materialist experiments, while it is not about tangible; we do not feel God
through some experiment, and because He, (due to a lot of His very complicated
plans and strategies, the intention of which is the diachronic justification and
salvation of a lot of people) does not appear obviously to see Him by our own
eyes, for these reasons our faith is absolute necessary.
So the faith to God is man's
spiritual foundation and elevation, while we are created to be spiritual
entities, so we have to keep developing spiritual, but when we do
it without faith or against God, we end up to confusion. Who doesn't observe the same phenomenon every day? Who didn't see
academics and famous enlightened people been confused? Well,
we might say they were somewhere justified, while it is indeed so difficult to find exit out
of this labyrinth of the tower of confusion. The main source of
it comes from the ancient world by their natural ignorance. But this circumstantial ignorance passed in Bible
by some "wise" writers as God's
wisdom and knowledge! Yes, the
circumstantial ignorance of the ancient world passed in the Bible as God's knowledge! Well, it was natural I would say, for that
time to pass in the Bible, but what a confusion, because even in our days the same proved ignorance
continually is presented as God's
knowledge, which doesn't admit of any discussion, nor doubt and critique.
Often we hear
theologians
preaching ancient ignorance, and also crime and injustice as knowledge and Word
of God, because it is written in the Bible!!
Also the symbolic writings of
Bible, when interpreted literal at the wrong time cause confusion, and
unfortunately many theologians do it; who also appear as wise, and as they know
very well what they say. They are the professional, the authorities, the
unmistaken saints who provoke confusion and confused laughs. Even the tower
itself when interpreted literal provokes confusion. But the worst
of all, is that in the Bible, somewhere
because of condition of misunderstanding,
of been mixed up with the traditional gods,
of the good interests of the rich rulers,
etc, appear a lot of paradoxes, and a lot of crimes, savage and
unjust laws etc, as the Word of God! They wrote
inconsiderate, and somewhere very deceitfully they heard the voice of God, other
times giving them illogical and unjust laws, and other times giving orders to
kill mothers and children. Is there any way to justify the killings of children?
Not of course, although they wrote were doing
it by God's orders. Well, this is clear satanic. And
a lot of satanic deeds are written in the Bible and presented as God's Word!
Slavery, they wrote that God
gave them slaves and wealth, the lowering of the woman, the sinful women
because gave birth, (!!!)
or if she was in period, and so many other ridiculous taboo appear as
God's will and by God's orders. And of course all these terrible things that
continually appear as divine, provoke confusion. So the confusion emerges from
the Bible, and from the Bible also comes the trumpet that sounds and warns the
world about confusion. But the Lord Who went out conquering
and to conquer, has His ways to save people, because He
speaks in their hearts, and makes them understand His teaching the True Will of
God. However, this confusion of the Bible became huge like a beast through
out the churches and by the repulsive
"theocracies" of the dark
Middle Age.
It was at that time when they burned
witches and fortune-tellers in the name of our Lord Jesus, and in other words,
the Devil succeeded to make up again other secretaries and Pharisees, many more
Annas and Caiaphas. And of course the history with less or more Annas and
Caiaphas goes on. The history is known. Every one knows that the church
elsewhere became state, and elsewhere became the best supporter of the state.
Well, of course, those people had common interests, while both of them, together
with the other "good and pious" masters, used to eat well, drink well, and were
fearless and comfortable sitting on the shoulders
and stomachs of the miserable sheep. You see, the
interests of the bishops were not matching of course with the teaching of the
Lord, while, according the Lord's teaching, they
should give than take, and should serve than to be served. Their interest was,
as they thought, to fish in the muddy waters of the Old Testament,
rather
of demonstrate and practicing the "love the others"
instead. Characteristic of the hypocrisy is the voluntary blindness;
the hypocrisy refuses to see, it prefers to match the unmatchable.
They used to sell forgiving certificates, ruling as dictators, often
announced and spoke about theocracies, they were getting rich from the fear
of hell, and converted the divine teachings into
profitable business. Is perhaps the Middle Age belongs to the past? They burned
people in the name of Him who forgave and still forgives daily His crucifiers;
they burned Bruno, threaten Galileo for the reason he said the earth revolves.
Well, if the "unmistaken" Pope did not know it, how would
Galileo dare to know it! So they
gave the opportunity to the devil to cause more
darkness in the world. The result was big confusion.
So the Middle Age, and every middle
age as well, was and is, a war against the Lord
Christ. And was wilier one, while the enemy was dressed as "holy father", and so
it was easier in nursing and putting the
sheep into sleep. By this behaviour and actions, the
churches succeeded to make other people running away from the church, and others
to be enraged by hating the church, hating its rude
dictatorship, its cunning and injustice. The
villagers of Russia had a lot of terrible stories to
tell
about the behaviour of their priests, the same also the workers of England, of France, etc. And as it was following, they provoked
the uprising of the "enlightening"
people.
The "free spirits" wanted very correctly to fight against the darkness, but what a pity, at
least some of them became servants of the Darkness.
Well, they didn't succeed to climb
the spiritual hills, and so, instead of fighting
against the darkness, they ended up fighting against the Light. Instead to sit
patiently to distinguish where is the truth and where is the lie, instead
of separating the wheat from strew, they opened a war
against the Lord Christ, resulting more confusion. The dwarfs in spirit became "teachers and judges" of the Light of the world.
They started researching the ancient
religions on how the gods are born, how they live and how they die, and in
extend, how all the religions started to exist. All the ancient religions were
full of children of gods, and while those people were motivated by their
excessive jealousy, and by great impetus to become famous enlightening, they
also mixed up once again the old traditional gods and their children, with God
the Creator and His Son, the Word of God.
On the endless field in which Lord came to sow the seed of love and
salvation, to sow the seed of brotherhood and the spirit of civilization, was
already sowed by darnels and caltrops. Okay, very correctly
they should raise up voice against the religious darkness and enlighten the poor
people who suffer a lot under religious oppression, to show them the truth. But
which truth? The truth is mixed up with a lot of stinky rubbish, and all
together appear as God's truth. Can we see, can we hear, did God give us
hearing, eyesight, logic?
Well, we have
of course and the terrible stigma of hell! But, repeating again,
can
we see, can we hear, did God give us hearing, eyesight, logic? Can we see where
is the just and where the unjust, where is the love and where the hate? Do we
love, but we think that He who is the Introducer of perfect love does not
love? Do we know about justice but the Introducer of perfect justice does not
introduce justice? Do we trust human judges, but we do not trust our Father, who
is the absolute fair Judge? Did we listen His teaching? Do we feel within us His
Presence so we might understand what matches with Him and what does not?
Nevertheless, love and hate, justice and injustice, wisdom and nonsense are
mixed up by the "wise" writers of the Bible and all are presented as God's Word.
All are mixed up like the gold among rubbish and dirtiness, and those free
spirits instead of sitting by patience to separate the truth from the lie, they
thrower everything in the rubbish bin, or so they thought, while God's truth
never goes to rubbish bin. If they were gold hunters, would ever full up their
bag by rubbish thinking it was gold, or would ever throw the gold in the
rubbish bin thinking it was rubbish? Not of course.
So,
simply,
they did not understand, Lord did not
speak in their language. He
preached: "blessed are those who are poor in
spirit." The poor Lazarus, He said, will be dressed
in gowns of real wisdom, while the arrogant wise men will be starving.
He also was talking about an evil prince of the world that was to them
foolish public prattling, that according to them was a clear sign of public darkness, while they could see behind the nature, or
rather they couldn't really see, but strangely knew that there is nothing behind the nature. How did they succeed to know it? How
did they prove it? No they didn't, but they believed it so, and yes, very "logical"!!
Also the Lord Jesus Christ although the Son of God had
no room,
nor a pillow to lay His Head, often tired and thirsty preached about bread, water and hypocrites. He
spoke about seed and sowing, of fish and fishers of people, of yeast in three meters of flour.
God the Creator, suffered crucifixion
and tortures, spiting and insults in order to forgive sins and save souls. They
didn't realize that we do that every day; every day we crucify Him with our blasphemies,
through acts and by our obstinate unfaithfulness. So
as they considered, it was
about of another case of religion that was born from the dream and hope of the
human not to disappear in the darkness of non existence, they thought it was
born from the necessity of the human for faith and hope,
while the fear of death tortures
for thousands of years. They couldn't look any further and comprehend that there
is the Creator, and the Lord has His plans, He didn't let the people believing and
hoping in vain.
So they rub their heads in order to find ideas
on how to fight the Christian "darkness", but they forgot that Christianity passed through fire and axe and not only didn't disappear, but
spread everywhere around the world.
They didn't notice that the war against the Saviour of man started
centuries before He was born, but nothing could stop His Holy Journey.
So some of them became very infuriated talking
pitifully about the human's plight and their own, writing insults, and
somewhere paranoiacs, but
called themselves "free spirits". The "special human race" should live and dominate,
while the others, the "filthy ones",
should become servants or die. And while this kind of paranoia is herpes and contagious, others who listened, became more paranoiacs
and better servants of the reptile, by causing terrible disasters in the world. The terrible beast of Daniel's prophesies and
Revelation was about ready to rule the world.
Others thought to bring back the
ancient religions, and also make up some more, fresh ones, as they knew that the
more the commodities the less their value. So the world fills up with religions,
such as the religion of nature, truth, country, of the human, of sex, of logic,
of peace, of power and many others. They took them out of the oven warm like the
tired and desperate baker who takes out the afternoon loaves. Some others
undertook seriously the "problem" of Jesus. And what didn't they say? Mountains
of paper were used in their war against the Light of the world. And look at how
the confusion showed its face, like the evil fox; it came out
of literature and false philosophy, and look how the dim light appeared as the
brightest sun! Some of them "proved" that Lord Jesus
was a "day dreamer" and a humanist, others "proved" He was never
born, His story, they said, was only an invention of some daydreamers who wanted to make another religion. Others "saw Him
coming down from the cross" full of temptations they said; they "saw" Him yearning for Magdalene that fresh spring morning,
when nature was blossoming, and their sick fantasy was blossoming as well.
And all these foolishnesses
being welcomed as high significance, mainly in the
saloons of the new rich people who wanted to pretend as intellectuals, depreciating as they thought the Light. It is also strange
that while they wrote books and made films against the Lord Jesus Christ, they also had to write dates as 1.000 or so after Christ.
Well, why they can't change and stop the journey of the Christianity in the world? Because Christianity is of course a divine
establishment that no power can demolish. We feel sorry for them, and while they disappeared hunted by the pitiless blowing of the
time, Lord Jesus Christ continually is speaking to the heart of people by His secret way, because the Lord has access to the soul
that has predisposition to welcome His Presence.
And there is other darkness as well, as for example it is of course darkening to
expect that a painting will cure disease, instead of having faith to God and going to the doctor who is another minister of God.
Well, there is of course a lot of darkness that comes out of the churches, but these are
only religions, and God who loves
His creatures, never rejects ignorant
people. If God would reject ignorant or foolish people, then
how about those, scientists and so many other who reject God? So, generally we realize that every spiritual activity, as literature, philosophy, arts and science etc, when trying to
develop and get in higher spiritual levels without faith and against God, end up in confusion.
Confusion also comes from some scientific discovery that comes in opposition with
those intruding writings of the Bible that appear as
divine.
Confusion came also from the false prophets who after the Lord Jesus, started to
appear like the mushrooms in the morning moisture. All
used to maintain that they heard angels delivering to them divine messages, and
of course the target was and is the Lord Christ, and therefore the target is
God, even if they didn't realize it. Now, who doesn't realize and who doesn't "see" the evil spirit walking,
jumping and run anxious and frightened in the labyrinth of his tower, knowing that his tower will fall to pieces and dust. He is
creeping as the snake, he doesn't show his horrible face, but he knows very well how to make ambushes, and knows how to confuse
wise and silly people.
As a figurative building we may say, the
primitive tribes in their ignorance set the foundation, the ancients perceptions
and the interests of the rich people of Israel, built some walls and rooms, and others finished the building by putting the roof on as well. The conical roof tries
to touch heaven, it is
talking about light but
fighting against the
Light. Well, it is the building of darkness. It passed already on the
third millenniums after Christ, even though the target is Christ. It looks like the Trojan deceiving horse, that the Trojans pulled
it in the city They were foolish, although pretended as if they were smart.
